I run perplexity runes on my engie but out of 8 level 80 toons he is essentially my only condition toon (still working on my necro’s build). As an engie he pumps out over 2,200 watts of condition damage. It works well on those ET/AR zergs and dropping a kit on a flame ram while defending a tower works wonders. I can just hear them screaming “I’m melting….I’m melting!” Music to my ears. It helped when I picked up that Ascended Dire pistol a couple of nights back. Just need one more for the pair so if either ET or AR would oblige?

Did you consider that maybe you are being hit as retaliation for constantly hitting Golanta and Klovan? ET spends far more time in those areas and in ARBL than they do on SMC or HoD. WHich would explain the nearly 60k gap between first and second.

Idk man idk I do remember ET once had Agg, felt mighty, them fairweather guilds took your playerbase and down went your ship, we troll for a reason, we are hardcore for a reason, we got offered to bring in t1 guilds, but nah man, we are very shut in, its why our veteran can handle 2+ of you at times, its ok when those fairweather guys take your playerbase again, FC is open, also keep in mind FC has lost a ton of commanders, a ton of guilds, and yet here we are still holding.

ET uses more arrow carts than any server I’ve ever seen.

Except when Warlord tells us our server sucks because an outmanned group used ACs to defend a keep.

As an ele it takes upwards of 15+ to kill me using my own build (which, even after all the requests to release it) I still refuse to give it out =p

I mastered my ele and created my build for it by doing 3 things – soloing zergs, learning to take advantage of terrain and most important is building a cycle of skills.

Sorry, we swarmed your server for a bit ET. Hope we didn’t leave any big messes behind (so many fun boxes and fireworks!) You guys were great hosts, especially to that guild that dropped those crafting stations.

I wasn’t online at the time (crying in a corner as gtav is sold out everywhere) but I, personally, don’t mind people guesting to ET just as long as they don’t cause any problems, like troll etc., or server recruit leech (which I’ve dealt with many times in the past and wish not to see for the foreseeable future from any server)

Guesting to ET increases our already high pve population even higher and boosts morale….

I would say the following:

Ranger – very forgiving class which has pets that can “Distract” the enemy (Though at Higher levels, PvE mobs seem to ignore the pets at times) Mediocre defense/damage meaning you can kill fast, while still being alive.

Elementalist – an Unforgiving class when levelling, very low Defense/damage with a mediocre>High skill ceiling which also has 4 “Attunements” or 20 skills that you would need to switch to, staying in 1 Attunement (Like Fire Attunement) is not a good idea.

Personally, I loved levelling my ele when I first started playing last year, it was a good adrenaline rush I got from it, and I still play it everyday (85% of my account time is on my elementalist)

There is alot of these “Idea” threads around on the elementalist forum, and many keep popping up.

The reason you see “Doom & Gloom” is because people have given up on suggesting their ideas due to very little Developer Interaction & Developer Feedback/Discussion.

Developer Interaction/Feedback/Discussion plays a critical role in idea threads as it promotes others to post ideas/concepts as well as giving the developers ideas to play around with, It also plays a critical role as for keeping morale high.

however, having none to very little interaction depletes morale thus causing QQ threads/whine threads and all of the doom and gloom posts and in turn no ideas will be posted leaving the developers empty handed and all out of ideas themselves > this then leaves the player feeling “lost” and “left out” causing them to QQ and go other sections asking for things etc.
this is the main cause of certain areas being full of low morale.

-I have many concepts for the elementalist, but don’t post them as I see no developer interaction.

After the most recent patch, Back Items can now be salvaged..it is unsure whether this was intended or not and was not in the patch notes.

As for the ecto salvage rate, the salvage rate is fine for me personally I’m still getting the amount of ectos I expected, sometimes none, sometimes 3, however it may differ to other players.

I’m assuming you are from ET. If you are the high WvW rank commander that leads the large ET zerg I have a question for you.

It’s clear SF has by far the highest population in this match up. Why on earth does ET takes it’s largest force and attacks the lowest population (DR) borderland? Are you afraid of anything other than PvD or situations where you don’t outnumber your opponent?

It’s interesting how every match up there is always one server that has double the other two servers population and yet every week it continues to be a 2v1 where the 1 is always the least populated server. I go into SF BL and there is no one ever attacking it other than camp/sentry flippers.

Assumptions lead to nowhere.

If you actually read the persons past posts you would have known he/she was from Devonas Rest.

Don’t run before you can walk.

Only problem is, wvwers don’t want this.

There are better things to do and fix in wvw rather than leagues, however Arena net would prefer to shove it down our throats, put their fingers in their ears and ignore the community.

Basically, exact same situation as spvp – shove down our throat until we give up and pay them.

To recap: we don’t want leagues.

Lol, not even 5 mins after I log off after FINALLY getting our BLs back to green and I’m about to rest my head on the pillow, I take one last look on the millennium live map and see that ET had our Garrison again and pretty much our side of EB. Either ET really has a thing for us or just really need to gather some courage to DENY NSP’s points instead of taking the easy mode way out… SMH.

To all the folks that are leaving DR and are giving excuses to try not look bad: You are leaving the sinking ship. You ARE bad. Because when the server need you most, you just decide to leave because you think “it’s not worth it”…

The thing everyone needs to remember is that this is a game and no one has the right to tell someone else how or where to play.

I am no longer having fun on DR. I am confident that most on DR will tell you I have poured my heart into the server and my desire to leave doesn’t make me a bad person.

To those who think otherwise, that is their problem, not mine, and they are better off without me/us.

Jeknar, I have to agree with Blodeuyn. This is a game and it is meant to be fun. If people want transfer to find fun let them go.

It does suck to have people leave your server and it can create a chain reaction of server transfers. There’s nothing anybody can do about it.

Full Disclosure: I transferred off ET when I wasn’t having fun. I came back for the same reason. I find the best way to have fun is to have a good group of friends. Focus on that and leave everything else aside.

Winning != fun (for some people it does though)

I sometimes get the impression that ET is seriously broken and has issues that are completely incurable at this point outside ANET having a “special transfer weekend” where it opens up 50 free transfers to the bottom server.
