Good job sweeping our BL tonight FA. We were outnumbered, but we also got outplayed. Though our sole commander was wandering around with his tag on, trying to figure out something to put his buffs on while we were losing our map…he had teams, so we still shouldn’t have gotten swept like that.
I was there as well. There was absolutely hacking going on. Two elementalists getting back into the same tower and bailing – twice while I was there, and at least another two times while guildies were watching after I left. There were no portals, and we had full presence the whole time.
It was ridiculous.
For crying out loud. This is Tier 3. Everyone knows there’s hackers. Vid them, report them, and SHUT UP ON THE FORUMS.

Event: Fight Club
Date: Thursday (TODAY)
Time: 5PM Server Time
Location: KBL Behind south supply camp.
Rules:
1. A servers players must be in one area together.
2. In order to start the fight, atleast 2 challengers (from any server) must go to the middle of the ring/open area.
3. Can be 1v1, 3v3, 5v5, Golem v Golem, etc.
4. No Spiking, only to down state.
5. If you are doing anything larger than a 1v1 get in a party with your opponent to agree on if it is downed state = out, or if you’re all ok with spiked = out. (To invite someone from an opposing server to your party: click on them, then type in /invite in the chat box.)
Whisper any one from RE if you have any questions about it. Its great fun, it builds cohesion and good/friendly communication between other guilds/servers.
Someone from Rethesis making a post about fight club etiquette, when their members are the ones that usually kitten things up, going as far back as when they were on Darkhaven…lol
FIGHT CLUB will happen tomorrow (Thursday) night—5PM server time in Kain Borderland at the usual place. Want to fight Kaining in equal numbers? 1v1, 5v5, golem v golem v golem? We’ll be here. Don’t forget your quaggan tonics.
Are people from Kainig actually going to duel or are 3 people going to duel while 15 people refuse to get out and fight? Because from my experience from impromptu fight clubs, like the one going on now, I would guess the latter.
I say go ahead and release the patch at its intended date. Let’s be real, almost everything you guys have added since release has been borderline broken and seems to be poorly thought out with what seems to be minimal testing….so just release the patch and let us test it for you as usual. Why make us wait until March to tell you everything that is wrong with the patch?
While I do feel contempt for the ignorant PUGs that came to our server because we were winning. The ones who refuse to get on voice comms. The ones who lay around dead in fight, instead of releasing and coming back. The very same ones that will throw 1700 of a keeps supply in wall that is being trebbed instead of helping to take the trebs down….I could write pages about about the things I hate about our recent transfers…but in the end, I stick around because I love the core community we’ve built with people since launch and going anywhere else would make my Maguuma tattoo look ridiculous.
Is this a serious question? Yes…the point is to have fun. Probably hard for bandwagon transfers to understand, but a lot of people do play this game for the fun of it, and not just Glicko points.
Most thieves I run into flee when they figure out i have 30k health 2.2k toughness and enough CCs to make sure their time in stealth is spent crippled, stunned or on their kitten
Sure, I wouldn’t mind seeing a couple of changes, like opening strike breaks stealth..even if it misses. Maybe increase the amount of time in reveal by a second. But with the game as it is, my best advice is to try and play the classes that give you the most problems and you’ll come up with some counters when you see what their weaknesses are.

I don’t do the corpse dancing thing, but it obviously gets under your skin, so mission accomplished I guess. Also, there are kittens on every server, not just ours.
I could’ve swore just a week ago I saw Maguuma, DB and Kaineng holding their heads high and saying “we’ll make it into T1 or T2”, while DB hasn’t waned, Maguuma seem to just bounced back like a rubber band o.o. That’s how it seems in the forums at least.
It’s not like you guys are losing as bad as SBI right now.
Nah, I like small team operations a lot more and would rather not play zerg v zerg culling wars.
Not on HoD, but respect to you guys that were there from day one and went down with the ship. With all the fair weather zerglings and bandwagoners in this game, it’s nice to see folks with some server pride sticking through the hard times. Best of luck.
I enjoy camping the jumping puzzle and killing carebears that think the JP is no place for PvP, so I’m not going to get mad when people come and try to break up duels.. They should just know that they’re attacking people that actually know how to PvP and will most likely get rolled while people from their own server sit back a /laugh at them.
I must ask though, isn’t it boring manning a ballista waiting for someone to climb out of the pit?
Not on JQ, but to answer your question…no, I think it’s hilarious. And the amount of QQing I see about it on these forums only makes me like doing it more.
I don’t even want to be a tier 3 server much less a tier 2. If you’re reading this and using it to base a decision on where to bandwagon on to, please go to FA for kittens sake.

I just transferred off magummera. Its a awful server full of trolls and wannabe pro chest thumping gamers. Some guy stole my golem and ran it off a cliff while saying over local chat “waste of 1 gold”. Once I was downed in JP and downed my oppenet at same time, a NOVA magumra guy was there, all he had to do was finish enemy or pick me up. He did neither and I died watching as he autoattacked downed enemy who rallied off me and then killed him. They cant portal bomb at all, they dont even know how portal works. I cant count number of times I see golems ported backwards, or in JP a mesmer up top is under attack, he has 10+ guys below waiting for port to back him up, he tries to be a hero up top and dies like a moron. I saw a flame ram up near JP treasure, seriously the portal door up there does not take damage from siege! This is kind of server maggumma is, you may think this is a troll thread but everything I said is true and I left so I dont have to deal with it anymore. Get out now while you can.
PS: they have a awful troll commander named Invalid Telivision or some kitten that leads zergs off cliffs to crater deaths, I think he was in a guild called Bill Murray.

Maguuman here. It’s a toss up between Darkhaven and Fort Aspenwood. Darkhaven because we’ve had some kitten close matches with you, plus the guys that I talked to at our Fight Clubs were cool as kitten. Aspenwood, because because they were larger than us, but they still used tactics instead of zerging and auto attacking doors down like Crystal Desert and Sea of Sorrows.
If any DARK players are reading this at the moment. Please make a serious push on Mag BL, because farming you is honestly getting boring and I’m sure your PUGs are tired of the repair cost. Thanks.
I for one will miss Dragonbrand next week. It’s a shame that we will have to fight those Ehmry scrublords next week who only fight for second place when they’re in tier 4 and have no understanding of borderland strategy.
Kick some kitten next week and come back to Tier 4 soon!
Wow Yak’s! What’s up with some of your players as of late? We’ve had a couple of weeks of clean fights and now I’ve personally witnessed wall jumping into keeps twice in 24 hours. I know most of you guys don’t condone that, but please get a hold of your players if you see them doing this. And before I get a “Hurr Durr, pics or it didn’t happen!” post…I posted screenshots and a video of the first occurrence, but I received an infraction for it.

You do lose all credibility in my eyes with your willingness to make such sweeping generalisations.
Judging by last weeks TC/FA/YB thread your experiences aren’t shared by people on those servers either.
Don’t pay attention to the guy you quoted. I’m pretty the majority of the people who have ever read anything he’s said in team chat have him blocked. Typical guy that sits around kittening about commanders after the fact, without offering input while something is going on.
I had a good time goofing off with some of the LoS guys from YB and the lone EB guy in the Maguuma BL tonight (I was the Charr warrior with the MAG tag). Sorry if my Maguuma brethren became hostile after I left, but it was nice to have a cease fire for some late night tomfoolery. If you catch me around again, invite me to your party.
I don’t blame CD for having higher numbers. It’s just part of the game.
I’ve played against servers with higher numbers AND great tactics. Sea of Sorrows comes to mind (their NA players were pretty bad, but their Oceanics had superior numbers and knew what they were doing.) That was hell. Fort Aspenwood and Tarnished Coast also come to mind.
Playing against CD is more funny than anything, watching them just graveyard zerg something until the gate goes down. I can’t count how many times in the past 2 weeks I’ve seen them siege something without the common sense to take the nearby supply camp so we can’t just jump out of the back of the tower and run and get more supply. In some cases I’ve seen 40 people just ignore dolyaks going into the tower/keep. The constantly trying to build golems in front of keeps is the best…I’d love to transfer for 24 hours just to be able to read their map chat, because it seems like it’s just a huge clusterkitten.
I take this to mean that server populations are settling and that there is less bandwagonning going on. I was bound to happen, and as someone else stated, these are the most even matches available.
That’s not to say that playing the same people doesn’t get boring. I think a seasonal ladder reset would be nice, resetting everything ever 3 months or so.
