for me all this time gating and daily rewards is becomeing increaseingly frustrateing i feel like arena net is controling what i do in the game and i have no real freedom to actualy enjoy the game or do the things id like to do. soon as i log on i have to do my dailys witch usualy takes me an hour or two and than i have to go make my charged quartz bar arange my dungeon runs refine my ascended mats kill my world bosses blah blah the list of daily time gated activites is getting out of hand

stop trying to control us and lets us progress at a rate that matches the effort we put in to the game if i go out and famr the rescources to do more than 1 combine towards my ascended weapon each day then i deserve the right to make that combine

today i was going over the latest mini pets and my atention was drawn to the mini MR sparkles as yet still empty with no sign of the mini available in game or on the gem store and decided to look in to it and see where i could get it from and was disgusted to learn that a handfull of codes where isued to gamers who atended gamescon

worse yet i was even more anoyed to find that these gamers who recived those code just turned around and sold them on ebay my isue with this is not that they got something i didnt but for me its the fact you added it to the collections tab and denyed everyone else the chance to ever obtain this mini pet

the solution is simple remove it from the collection tab it dose not belong there if the general player base cant collect it and if you are unwilling to remove it from the tab you should consider giveing everyone the chance to obtain it

personaly i realy dont like that these acheivments are comeing back coz it feel like you are be-littleing my past acheivments i put in the work when it was around and got all those acheivments when i was suposed to if others missed out coz they droped the ball or just plain couldnt be botherd first time round they don’t deserve a second chance now that acheivment points are actualy worth something

there are certain acheivments i didnt get and will never have the chance to get again and i can live with that but if your gona bring these ones back to give others a chance why not do it with all the past acheivments

of course we all know that will never happen so why do it this one time i say no exceptions you snooze you lose you dont deserve a second chance to get past AP you missed out on

its not just NPC names player names are allso showing makeing these new events a bit anoying coz i cant see whats happening for the amount of player/pet names visible on my screen in a zerg i hope this gets adressed soon

ps why did anet feel the need to mess with the graphics engine in such a half ased way to pander to low spec players who quite frankly should have bought a better graphics card if they had problems playing coz the solution is turning out to be an even biger problem for the rest of us

was checking out the new mini pets today and noticed my mini watchknight has gone missing i spoke to a few other players and seems others (not everyone) has lost there mini watchknight

Whenever they release new content that is going to give the player base an abundance of drops the MF suddenly develops a bad drop rate for me as well.

The last time I noticed this was during the Southsun farming cycle before the Karka Queen content was added. People were getting so many drops from doing the constant events I am confident the MF was adjusted in some manner to prevent an abundance of rarer items.

I suspect they do this to keep the TP from crashing or something similar.

All I know is that when the drop rates for gear go up, my MF use goes down until the easy farming stuff is patched out. For now my greens go in storage until it is full and NPCed for guaranteed profit.

this is exactly the kinda thing i suspect is going on tho we can never prove it even tho i am geting more greens and doing more combines than before im geting less rare/ectos than before so if they are changeing the sucses rates its not even balanceing things out if i am worse off than before

personaly im realy stugleing with these gauntlet mobs for a multitude of reasons mainly bad decision makeing on arenanets part incorperateing bad game mechanichs such as shoveing that camera up your kitten hole to make things harder and make out thakittens skll that is involved in geting through then they stick a random element like those orbs in the mix sure i rally from them any time they down me but that instantly puts me on the defencive and unable to bring any true dps to bear on the boss
and then there is my personal fave the red circles as a couler blind person i have real problems seeing where thiese paterns begin and end and alof of the time i end up expending endurance dodgeing when i could proly just run out
and while not skill based i find it very tedious i am reliant on someone to rev me or i must make a run from the bottom back up to the arena wasteing 1-2 mins more of my time only to end up wasteing another few mins in a que to start my bout
and lets not forget all classes cant do this last boss chalange with there curent builds

im sorry but i have to disagree this whole thing for me has just been one big adventure in frustration these may work better in a wolrd situation without some of the more anoying mechanichs we are seeing now
butyou guys asking for more are a minority coz most of the players are ranting about this stuff i play to relax not sit here shouting at my screen in frustration

Put in 110 rare greatswords yesterday and got 11 exotics out, no nerf, its rng.

personaly i cant say what the sucsess rate is like on exotics ive only been makeing rares (well atempting) and haveing lower than usual sucsess rates usual i find the risk vs reward is not worth it trying to make exotics i only ever get them as a result of trying to make a precursor witch i havent tried since the patch

since the new content has been added i am geting more greens that usual farming the pavilion and i usualy let my loot build up untill i cant hold anymore so by the time im ready ot use the mystic forge conduit i got 3+ 20 slot bags full of nothing but greens and for aprox 60 green items im avrageing around 2 rares for my combines and to me this seems like its been majorly nerffed with the sucsess rate on makeing rares i have owned a forge conduit since they came out and i have allways combined my greens and been happy with the results and every so often someone in my guild channle will whine and say the mystic forge has been stealth nerffed QQ. and i go and do my combines and find its working as it allways has for me and tell them they are just imagineing it but for once im actualy finding myselff agreeing with them i suspect the forge has undergone a stealth nerf and i am not getting as many rares as i am used to getting this is not a once off time i combines alot of greens and got nothing i have combined over 200 green items over the last few days and every time i do it it ends poorly and i find myself wishing i had just sold them to a merchant
anyone else noticeing this or am i being the whiney type for once ?

this game breeds gambleing adiction plain and simple i know guys who blow £150 a month on black lion keys and whatever other stinkin lotery system they have implemented at any given time it is not healthy it is preying on the weak minded fools who are stupid enough to start down that path in the first place the mystic forge is no dif you are a fool if you invest too much in it

i like geting mini pets as rewards for my acheivments tho i have a prob with this one mainly with the dificulty asociated with it i fear i may not get this mini pet and i will end up with an empty spot in my mini colection i can never fill and that is realy geting to me as i have went out my way to get all the mini pets thus far and if i miss this one i will most certainly stop colecting them alltogether in future

no thank you i hate it if ever i thought i was wasteing my life playing this game the last 5 hours spent trying to beat the gauntlet end boss certainly reaffirmed that feeling

i am not impressed i hate it and hope to see no more of this type of content in the future i could go on and list the many reasons why i dont liek but its allready been said by many others

i wont quit but you are right i do feel disgusted by this content its just frustrateing and has caused alot of rage from player in my teamspeak myselff included f its not bugs it bad camaera angles wait times ect all the wost elements of the game basicly

and allthough i wont quit i expect i will not get the mini pet this month and will be missing out on alot of acheivment points and that realy anoys me i am going to have a blank spot in my mini pet colection i can never fill and that is all the incentive i need to stop colecting any future mini pets if i cant have a full colection thne they are all worthless to me from now on

i have to agree i dont like this update either and the reason one word dificulty specificly gauntlet this month i think will be the first time i am unable to get all acheivments done coz i simply dont have all the classes needed for some of those gauntlet acheivments i dont wana spend the next 2 days banging my head off a brick wall trying ot stop chomper eating some meat with my war coz he just dosent have the skills nesacery for it nor am i willing ot rush lvling a theif and paying alot of gold equiping him with the apropriate gear runes sigils ect to get through it

ive played through this on variouse classes now and the whole time whats realy bene anoying me the most is not the fight mechanics or how hard it is no what gets on my nerves is that you guys where so scared we might use a bit of the scenery to our advantage you put us in these little domes with anoyingly claustraphobic camera angles that constanly end up zoomed right in on you cuting off so much of whats happening around you makeing allready hard fights even harder

this could have easily been over come by haveing a barier round the edge that was only tall enough so we couldent jump over it but could pan our camera back and tilt for a more overhead view

we are all expericanceing the same lag isues all over amt and have been since the content update real quesion is Anet doing anything about it or should we just be moveing on to another game

typical Anet responce looseyl translated its not our fault (blame someone else) check these solutions and busey yourselff wasteing time while we fix the problem without ever actualy addmiting its our fault

finaly a well worded complaint on this subject expressing exactly how we all feel about this 4 nights straight now i get home from work sit down to play and CANT because the lag issues are so bad it is unplayable
by the time the lag dies down i have to go to bed for work the next day makeing your game useless to me i have a life and a job and my play time i limited to certain hours and it is allways laging dureing those hours now and you guy are telling us nothing and for all we know are doing nothing about this situation
come on allready its time for an official responce on the matter

i also am getting lag like i never have had before in game been 4 hours now and i cant even kill a vet mob for the lag spikes and the jumping pads in the new puzzle are not working as intended because of it

game is so lagy tonight these jumping pad’s and spining cogs are not working properly and i agree this dive location is a total troll get all the way up to the top of a very dificult jumping puzzle avoiding death at allmost every jump along the way only to have to make a blind leap of father to god knows where hopeing you will not hit anything on the way down after 20 odd deaths im realy geting sick of it my whole night allmost wasted on this stupid poorly concived dive location
no i take that back it is well thought out but allso a very troll like on the players
