I agree with original poster on the point of X > 100 blades. Personally I don’t use the skullcrack 100b build myself, I run with a sword and warhorn and I use savage leap > flurry > 100 blades. If they nerf the skullcrack thing then yeah, they’ll probably nerf whatever everyone starts using from them.

Also, Silferas complained how warriors have everything and can cope with conditions? Wait, what? We have Dogged March to help with CC, but conditions in general? What is it exactly we have that helps us cope with conditions? You mean lemongrass, which everyone else can use? Or the couple of condition removal utilities we have which pretty much everyone else gets. I’ve got a pretty solid build at the moment that I’m happy with, but I just accept the fact that I cannot go toe-toe with decent Necros. They melt me even with lemongrass. That claim is just ridiculous.

Also, I don’t feel Healing Signet needs to be toned done. I think it’s about right where it is. You have to bear in mind the mechanics that every other class has to mitigate damage. I don’t have a ranger or engie so I can’t comment there, but seriously, every other class has something. Something they can summon, or STEALTH which is a complete joke.

I’ve found some melee rangers, that I cannot beat, we just stalemate. I don’t know what they’re doing but they’re getting some sort of regen boon, and then they have protection, and by the time that’s all on cooldown, they use their heal. We have JUST the Signet to rely on, you’ve gotto understand that. There’s no point in activating it because the heal is laughable, and we have NOTHING else, no extra heals, no stealth, no minions to provide distraction, no protection.

shrug it off zerker stance signet of spite shake it off (esp if your with other warriors with it) mend. theirs a trait that lets warriors with war horns turn conditons into buffs theirs also solider’s runes (which requires shouts which only war and gaurdians have) so yeah if you specify you’ll get good condtion counter but not what a lot of people wanto tm ake it out to be. forgot cleansing ire

also I agree with you on sig of healing I think a nerf would just kill the skill since it’s got a long act time a poor spike heal all it has for us is a heal over time.

Only thing that needs changing imo is the skullcrack from 3 to 2 secs, match it with the earthshaker that’s already 2 sec stun.

How about you slot Stability instead.

Stability is the most fundamental PvP boon, if you run without it you are begging to die.

Warriors are very similar to Thieves where they are a fairly weak class overall but have a few very overpowered mechanics that mask their weaknesses.

There’s no way a Warrior should be able to heal 1k a second while maintaining insanely high condition damage and 30k hp. That’s absurd. But it’s the way things are. It’s much worse in WvW.

Healing Signet is insanely overpowered. <1.5 second activation time for 3.3k heal which is a easy to interrupt or b just pointless as most times youll lose the health you seek to gain.
Stun duration is insanely overpowered. mainly due to the sigil this one I give you
Warrior Regen is insanely overpowered. <warrior’s signet of healing I’ve covered adrenal health is also NOT over powered keep in mind it take adrenaline to power it which is depleted on use of a burst skill or must be built through battle or a skill.
Burn is insanely overpowered. < warrior have 2 burn skills which aer you talking about skill combustion shot which requires skill to use effectively or the 2 skill on the long bow that applies a burn for 1 second unless your at close range then it’s 3 in which case neither is op.

Might stacking is insanely overpowered. < only the greatsword trait
45k hp is insanely overpowered. not really since the only way you would acchive this is through HIGH investment in vitality infact my warrior is not even half this.

This really can’t be disputed and all need to be nerfed. And yes, we all acknowledge that the Warrior would be bottom tier when all this goes down. But until these types of things are brought into line the class will never improve.

Its like all the warr ability are meant to be bursty like the thief
Backstab but they are often useless its better to keep a good
Damage pressure on your enemy with decent skills than just
One shotting him with something and autoatack till
Your burst comes up again . We need fluid skills like
Hammer #2 of the guardian the dps is not amazijg
But at least you know your hitting with something and
Not just wating for your cd’s to come back up .

few comments
long bow is a joke i’m guessing you never have used it or don’t know how to make full use of the skill combustion shot as such you think (who will just stand in it) personal fire field with easy access to blast finshers meaning the bow can be used to grant 7 might. (for 20 seconds)

combustion shot + battle standard. (this is not counting that the 3 skill on the long bow is also a protable blast that’s another 3 might)
or if your out for the damage pindown applies a immobile plus nasty bleeds combo combustion shot in after that then if your a condition warrior use savage leap to gain might per hit and burn them when they hit you.

100blades is sure as hell not up. the only way what people want done would happen would be if 100blades cd was raised to over 20 seconds + damage nerf. I don’t hink the gs is op nor do I think 100 blades is op.

40k damage yes with a 3 second activation time easy to interrupt easy to just step out of and you stand perfectly still. with that said it does do insane damage and does have a short cd.

hammer the warriors only choice is far from accurate. warrior has many viable choices but some will require time to learn and figure out how to best use the skill such as the weapon you labeled as a joke the long bow.

How to fight the skullcrack build

Hello all,

I have recently seen a lot of very tanky, very damaging warriors running around WvW with a build close to this:

I am not sure of the exact traits/armor, but I assume that is the approximate setup b/c this build was very tanky and did very good damage, which probably means knights.

There were 3 of us (1 ele, 1 mesmer, 1 guard who joined in later) trying to pin this guy down and kill him, and we were unable to. I thought warriors were supposed to be weak to cripple/immob, but with this build, any kind of control just completely falls off like its nothing. It was hard enough even keeping up with him in the fight, and not even being able to control him in any way gave him free reign of movement. It seemed like old bunker ele out there, but with better damage + stuns with the way he zipped around at will.

In looking at this build, it has great mobility, a great amount of blocks/invulns, and very high access to damage through skull-crack/HB, as well as whirl, rush, and gs auto being respectable. It also can handle conditions very well with cleansing ire, balanced stance, and its mobility if it gets in trouble.

My question is, how can you handle this build. It doesn’t seem to have any weaknesses that we could figure out. We tried coordinating burst, but the invulns prevent that from going far at all (one is automatic, one is on-demand, one is on shield, and mace blocks 1 attack). We tried CCing and killing, but our amount of CC was unable to control him long enough, and there is access to stability on-demand. As mentioned before, crippling and kiting was useless as those condis just slide off instantly. The one strat we couldn’t try was condi-bursting, but I suspect Zerker’s stance+cleansing Ire would survive that. Anytime we worked this guy down low, he would simply outrun us with the GS amazing mobility.

What strategy were we missing for handling this. Yes, the build is very much a 1-trick pony, but its a 1-trick pony that doesn’t have a weakness I can figure out.

Any help from those with experience from the build?

to counter this build will require toughness stability or lacking htat stun breaks make use of invul frames to avoid damage. if at all possible keep him at range longer he’s down wind less damage he can do since he has no real ranged dps. make use of any cc skills you have perferbly with short cds remember 100bs is the bread and butter of this build as such it’s weakness are as follows.

clunky requires the use of cc or a player to stand still while he’s being attacked. close range and a long activation time of 3 seconds if he’kitten with in that time with cc it interrupts the skill.

Burst Skills should expend Adrenaline if fail

Currently, burst skills only go on recharge if the attack connects. If a burst skill is evaded/blocked or misses through blind or you misjudged the range, your adrenaline stays full.

Which is stupid since it makes dodging pretty much ineffective since you can just pretty much spam Earthshaker/Skull Crack until either hits after stability is down and one of the factors that’s making warriors easy mode.

yes we op warrior can spam the might skull crack and the mighty earthshaker if it misses we just have to wait 10 seconds for our skills to recharge!!

seriously there are bursts like what your talking about ( combustion shot and likely earth shaker. other then that every single burst skill has a 10 second recharge if you dodge it.

Warriors will already be hit hard in PvE/WvWvW with the Sigil Nerf, I don’t see how nerfing them further will be balanced, the less stuns mean less damage, A LOT less damage and less CC, and because your attacking us for an extra second that is a lot more damage.

http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Unsuspecting_Foe will be hit hard due to the below nerfs, this means Hammer Train warriors won’t be getting people as hard, and Tank warriors damage will be cut by about 25-35%.

Nerfs I foresee:

- Sigil of Paralization Globally Fixed to be 15%, stuns fixed so they can have values other then just adding a whole extra second…
((Sigil of Para now adds ¼, ½, ¾ instead of a whole extra second.))

- Skull Crack lowered to 2.5 second stun in pvp only.
((Skull Crack now becomes 3 seconds in pvp, 3½ in pve with sigil of para thanks to fixed values.))

- Earthshaker lowered to 1.5 second stun in pvp only.
((Earthshaker now becomes 1.75 in pvp, 2¼ in pve with sigil of para thanks to fixed values.))

- Healing Signet passive lowered by 25% in pvp only.
((It now heals for 294 (0.05) per second in pvp.))

- Berserker Stance lowered to 5 seconds in pvp only.
((However it can now be used in a shorter time.))

- Hundred Blades changed to a burst skill, Arcing Slice as the new 2.

Buffs I foresee

- Stick and Move 10% like the other classes instead of 3%

- Mending’s heal amount increased by 25% in pvp and pve.

- Stance Mastery now additionally lowers stance cooldowns by -20%.

- Staggering Blow completely redesigned.

- Backbreaker an AOE

- Hammer Smash is now a Combo Finisher: Blast.

- New Skills/Traits I cannot foresee.
((Gain health when you gain a strike of adrenaline grandmaster trait please!))


Stuff I’d like to see

- Thick Skin redesigned, 100 toughness when your over 90% health, seriously?

- Spiked Armor worthy of its Grandmaster position

- The Minor traits for Tactics redesigned… They are lulzy

- Versatile Power redesigned… 1 stack of might on a 25 trait?

- Cyclone Axe granting a small amount of evasion

- Dual Strike gains Might for 10 s instead of Fury for 3 s.

- Whirling Axe immune to retaliation, or evasion… Something?

Shield Redesigned to be a different weapon then the others and to improve its defensive capabilities

- Shield Bash has been redesigned and improved.
Block attacks and daze your foes with a shield bash. (15 second cooldown.)
Damage: 422
Daze: ¼ s
Duration: 1½ s
Range: 150

- Shield Stance improved massively
((Block and channel time raised to 4 seconds and its cooldown has been lowered to 20 seconds to match the engineer’s tool-kit.))

I can actually forsee a lot of this happening although I don’t know if signet of healing will be nerfed even in pvp a lot of people are over reacting to a signet that heals you 400 a second but heal spikes for 3k to put it another way you can with great ease out dps healing signet but god help help you if you like to extend the fight (bunker build or defensive condi)

healing signet 3.3k heal 1.5 sec activation time by the time you heal your likely been hit 3x which goes your heal spike. i.e. totally worthless other then the passive heal.

(note using my personal heal signet which is around 402 a second not the number which you specified which is to be blunt underpowered)

healing signet can be punishing for a condion as it functions much like the reverse but if you rely on it for a battle against dps you’ll lose… a lot.

the skill is balanced and they would probably buff it and nerf it.
(lower activation time increase heal amount minus passive heal rate)
my money would be we won’t see a signet of heal nerf for a while.

I mean atm necro is best at pwr build , condi build with the best aoe and most hp in the game ? and nobody see the problem ? Wake the kitten up anet ! There goes another forum ban but wake THE kitten UP !

the main issue I have is your acting no diff then the people who want the warrior nerfed. necro is best as a power build no a necro has good damage but only at range and lacks a aoe effect (cleave) that the warrior has on the majority of it’s skills that means a warrior is putting out 3x the dps as a necro with that alone we don’t really need to bring up the fact 100 blades can do over 40k in pve and in pvp is still incredibly strong.

necros are extremely lacking in stability simply put easy to toss knock down stun daze they lack any access to vigor.

necros are better at condions is debateable as both classes do it extremely well however necro is better built for conditons on groups due to epidemic.
as far as best aoe personally I would think the engi has better aoe with nades.

What counters the upcoming warrior meta?

High damage/bursty mobile classes? Trying to think one step ahead.

counter it through cripple chill reducing it’s leap mobility as these condition reduce the distance these skills travel.

counter the damage through the appropriate defensive style. toughness is useless against conditions which are weakened by vitality spec for which you have more trouble with. for skills such as 100b a stun or some sort of interrupt works great as they take a long time to function. as you would have guessed cleanses for condition build try to not waste them though and invuln skills for dps.

keep in mind this is as a generic response as they come since you didn’t specify much.

Also don’t forget to nerf:

Distracting Strikes: Mace/hammer stun/Bulls rush = 1000 stacks of confusion OP!
Endure Pain: Because 4 seconds of invulnerability to damage is too strong on a class with the highest HP and highest Armor
Zerker Stance: Because warrior’s should be allowed to go melee
Kick: Because kicking butt is something a warrior shouldn’t be able to do
Longbow/Mace/Greatsword/Shield/Rifle build: Because warriors can use 5 weapons at once
Hundred Blades: Because sitting there for 3 seconds just isn’t enough
Banners: Perma regen too OP
For Great Justice: Because nobody believes in justice for the warrior
Fear Me: Because fearing a warrior would be too OP, they need to go back to being free kills

And also, warriors should take a 50% damage nerf and don’t forget, nerf the bulls rush>Frenzy>100b combo because that is making a comeback in the meta.

Might as well since alot of people want us nerfed to nonexistance.

saw this and after reading it i’m starting to get rather annoyed with some comments so i’ll go over a few things.

1stly commenting on the but in the current meta my posion won’t stick this is outright bs cleansire ire is a good cleanse but seems it’s been blown right out of proportion not to mention THE NUMEROUS AOE REMOVALS OTHER CLASSES have.

1stly sig of healing adrenal health great combo for extended fights against say condition users. paper for dps bursts let me put it this way 1.5 seconds for 3k health (sig of heal heal spike) barely will make up for using the skill in the first place not to mention by the time sig of heal heals you you will be hit around 2×. if this is a condi great you’ll absorb it with little problem. dps not so much if the fight lasts a total of 10 seconds you will heal 7k (if you use your heal spike) adrenal rush will heal for 10k

the most common builds that use these are condi builds specially sword sword longbow.

counter is easy
add more cleanse
add more vital (it acts just like armor which is why the regen here is so powerful)
add some form of regen (if possible)
more dps through direct means for a warrior I recommend the use of axe greatsword or rifle.

cleansing ire op no not by a long shot. if you waste your adrenaline you can heal 4 condition possibly if that is really so important there is always mending. well that is 4 if your 2nd burst hits only combustion shot can reliabley cure 3 conditions because it aways hits as it is ground based aoe. that is mind you if you start with a full bar which is honestly not likely in most situation this is not a dungeon if your in spvp unless someone was gang banded your likely at 0 meaning you will need sig of furry or zerker stance both of which will take up a useful slot and be used a total of once just to give you 1 single burst. why is this worthless because if you are just wasting adrenaline a warrior player who knows what he is doing will stomp you.
also as for the adrenal health cleansire ire combo is op is laughable logic as you can not have best of both worlds you will not keep the adrenaline and get the constant heals or get the removal it’s a either or situation and both = great counter to conditons but for slightly different reasons.

simply put this is a very specialized build and can be countered easily.

if it’s a dps build using this which is somewhat unlikely as they will want to conserve the adrenaline for the grandmaster strength trait zerker strength. you would have to do things different then what I recommended more tough less vital or pvt or dire hit armor.

there is so many things to take into account I can not go over them all but give you this somewhat generic advice.

what i’m saying is while this build is good for this meta it’s not op infact necro has well of power theif removes condions with their ungodly amount of stealths engis posses the same ability as the necro with elixirs but with out the aoe effect.

Ascended Gear to Kill Builds and Alts?

Now is just wait and see what will happen in the game… I hope this don’t obrigate us to get ascended weapons or at least isn’t insane to get as ascended trinkets… (heavy laurels, live in fractals or the guild thingy)

Sadly, I was building both my Warrior and my Necro (Guard is my main)…

We’ll call this game Word of Guild Wars? (Wait to see)

….well hate to break it to you it’s much worse.

according to the live stream it will take 2 weeks to get 1 ascended weapon a warrior and necro will likely need 3/4 so that’s two months PER acc.

lets point the finger at the upcoming hellish update ascended armor now
six pieces most likely similar process so another 2 weeks per piece that’s 3 months of grindin per acc.

now lets add the inevitable future dungeons will become much eaiser since ascended weapons / armor will be roughly 20% (that is no typo) better since it has a higher weapon strength plus stats. now lets recall the starting dungeon ac designed for lvl 35s and how anet had to buff it.

now imagine if they do that with ascended in mind point being gw2 is poorly designed currently for a vertical progression in pve so guess what here comes the elitist and very possible buffs keep in mind part of this is sort of hypothetical but the numbers I supplied was quite real.

also keep in mind how serious wvw guilds are with armor and weapons I highly doubt ascended doesn’t show real improvement if you can get enough of them.

it’s major issue is because of the insane time requirement it kills alts out right 1 char = at least 5 months to bring them up to the top tier and unlike trinkets who have little influence other then a few measly points in power per say weapons weapon strength will greatly enhance it’s over all effectiveness.

the only place I think is safe from this update is spvp and thank god for that I guess.

this wouldn’t be a problem if the amror was sellable or easily accessed hell was exotic really that bad. because htats what it is at the end of the day all this work to break even or get a edge on opposing players god help you if you have a life.

We very much would like to have a discussion about low, to no, gear progression requirements… for 8+ years.

Which is why it only sold 6-7 million copies. It was out-done in sales by MINECRAFT.

The original Guild Wars was missing a gear and economic system that made you want to keep playing. Guild Wars 2 has it, and that’s why its the fastest selling MMO in history.

Anet has learned from their mistakes.

ugh gw2 didn’t really have a gear treadmill like what their talking about when they claimed that tittle so it’s a bit of a moot point.

people are upset they have to do work to get exactly where they are now and can’t blame them their are going to be issues for casuals especially and alt users as well due to this update and honestly I would love to see it explained why we can buy the tier that was designed for people to work toward yet we can’t buy ascended tis a tad puzzling me thinks.

The things are almost certainly going to be bind on equip; if you can’t (or won’t) level up one of the prerequisite crafting skills to make the things, just farm cash and buy one. Or buy the components and commission one from a friend.

It might (will) take you longer, but whatever; it’s not like there is going to be content that you can’t do without the things. And really, 5-10% extra damage isn’t all that much. sPVP is capped on stats and WvW is pretty much already built to be unfair on a solo level, so… what? You think people will kick you from groups for not having one? If they do, those aren’t groups that are worth the time to begin with.

pretty confident that they are not planning to allow that.

the said the weapons are account bound if you give your friend that mats to make a ascended weapon you just made his life (on gw2) a little easier and a lot harder on you. this also means they won’t be in the tp but components will be.

simply put you will have to at least lvl a crafting skill.

A whole new gear tier is a waste of time for me, I used to be able to gear through just playing the game. Tokens etc. were a free way to gear. Now I actually have to undergo a massive grind to compete. 0/10

agreed I wouldn’t mind a new tier of gear if it was handled proplerly farily easily obtained tradeable and doesn’t take ages to rack up either gold or just time. it seems like ascended has precisely none of these atm.

really all ascended weapon sound like is a fun killer forcing you to constantly do specific things to get specific items to get a single weapon then repeat. to be blunt people are really going to hate this update unless your a hardcore gw2 player and it will end up punishing the casuals unless something is done.

(better gear = content becomes a breeze = content needs buff = pain for sub quality gear)

simply put the way ascended items are being treated is killing the desire and possibility for people to make alts especially if they have a job or such time is limited let me stress this is not exactly a post against ascended items far from it. I am saying that they should be added into the trading post want to make them you can don’t care fo all the what not that goes into making them let them buy them. mind you at a reasonable fee rate of introduction needs to be somewhat high enough to get them around 10 gold or so which i’m referring to the weapons which for the case are usually around 2 gold so that’s still a 500% increase but making them cost as much as a precursor would still be a bit much.

now I will mention that you can aquire accessories through the laurel vender at 40 laurels per accessory it’s just easier to get the amulet through the guild commedations and even better to do the laurels at the same time (if you have the time) but this still takes a rather long time for a individual to do per acc.

now lets move on to something that makes me scratch my head about why no ascended items are sold on the tp. legendaries so the reason legendaries exist is simply to give a player a long term goal to work towards to get a skin that looks nice but with stats = to the top tier. so dear I ask why a legendary can be bought STRAIGHT FROM THE TP when the vial of condensed mist can not.

to make matter worse I do genuinely fear how they weapons and oh god the armor will be handled at this point it’s difficult to have a decent alt and content is going to have to be made to give these items a point (i.e. stronger monsters and dungeons) later down the line we may well see exotics put I the same position as rares that group will kick on sight or the buffed dungeons become increasingly difficult to manage simply because my time is limited and I want to have alts.

they main thing I truly thing would greatly ease this problem would be the addition of ascended items to the tp when or slightly after weapons come out. easily arming accs if you time is limited on gw2 or if you have alts. to behonest this would be a improvement in areas such as fotm where ascended ingredients are only of limited importance if you have your back piece you don’t need another.

now that I’ve talked about the bad I want ot highlight the things I like. you can aquire the items in a wide and deverse manner meaning I feel free to do what ever and I can still even if it’s at a incredibly slow pace climb up the ladder. as well as for now at least (although this will become much more of a issue as more items are made following this formula which could eventually spell dieaster) a slight difference in my stat. hoever keep in mind that this is becoming large rather quickly weapon strength of a ascended item will be larger then that of exotic same for armor meaning that those small boosts are stronger then they appear.

the difference with a accessory and a sword one gives stats the other gives stats and a base value making said stats more effective.

in closing my argument is that ascended should be sold because it would enable players who have excess mist essence to make a larger buck and easier on players who have alts you could work toward acquiring your item while at the same time being able to do something you prefer.

simply put please treat these items like you treated exoitcs

VERY TIME CONSUMING if you have a life out side of gw2 this is all the worse to put this into perspective the quickest ascended items you will aquire (possibly) will be the rings from fotm (if your computer can handle the jademaw more on this later) but even with this the rate of aqurin rings via the tokens will take 10 days from the day you finally manage to get the reward level 10 allowing you to be rewarded pristine relics. sadly what I have said is a bit on the optimistic side. as in reality inorder to level up your reward level will take you at least a hour if you have a very very good team and nothing goes wrong sadly perfection is often sought rarely obtained.

to put it another way inorder to level up your reward level you must complete 4 fractuals but so much relies so heavily on the jade maw fractual it becomes a genuine pain because if anything goes wrong prior all your effort was for not. what a fractual this is too it’s by far the most demanding fractal of the lot (computer wise) leading to severe fps shock in my case between 1-2 fps through the fractual that compiled with jumps makes for a Extremely frustrating and grating experience with not real advantage to it other then it’s done. the severe lag simply makes the jumps almost impossible I am not exaggerating on this I have spent in one run alone 30 mins holding up my team trying to make 1 single jump to get the maw and later to the chest before giving up out of frustration and just clicking ready.

however anet did something amazing with said reward they made many ways of obtaining it. make fun of me if you wish but my rings were all paid for by laurels other wise I would not had even bothered.

but this is not even the beginning of the issues with ascened lets take vial of ascended essence the crystal the globs all that good stuff!. which serves virtually no point except making you ascended back piece. so yeah 1 item and your done UNLESS YOU HAVE alts then you have to have 1 per alt (for me that would be this means this item is usually outright useless on the majority of the game and the ability to sell said items would be much appreciated as it would not only increase $ for those who no longer need the item but make it easier on those with alts. no I don’t expect it to be cheap but a alt to being FORCED to play fotm if I don’t like it would be nice but there is none for this ascended item the fact that it’s totally rng is also a pain why not for instance allow us to buy it with say tokens being another idea.

as far as the back piece as a whole goes great idea horrible execution I like the idea of being able to aquire a piece of gear through the mystic forge by using other items. sadly vial of condensed essence just kills it.

lets not forget that this also requires 250 t-6 items while I do find such a large amount to be a little extreme it’s still well forgiveable it does feel annoying as hell to pay 40+ gold (currently) to not even get a item but if vial of condensed essence was purchase able i’d be rather happy to do so with no real major gripes. as at the end of they day I could do what I want and still acquire said items.

the rest of the items are well ….extremely time consuming almost to the extent of being ubsurd

1 ascended amult MUST be acquired though 30 laurels this will require around 2 weeks AT LEAST. this is mind you if your hardcore and complete every single daily complete your monthy as well as possibly every single achievement in your living story ever single week.

now I want to make something clear this is not too bad I love the fact that laurels can be acquired though various means I can do my daily monthly don’t feel like that well there spvp where I can also aquire them not in the mood for either of those hell i’ll do some living story that is the work is spread out.

however this is a major issue in respect to time people have a limited amount of time in gw2 and if you have alts well time to pick a fav better pick a fav build to and make no mistakes along the way. to put it another way because the way to aquire laurels are all very time contrained that is 1x day 10x a month 0 +0 that means it takes a long period of time to get these items which once again are not sold on the tp so you are forced to wait weeks to get 1 ascended item through laurels with amulets out right requiring it.

however we do have comedations that is 12 comedations +5 gold = 1 ascended accessory this will once again take at least 2 weeks if your guild even runs guild events and you never miss out which unless your extremely hardcore is going to happen eventualy

ascended items being the top tier of items in gw2 means that they are going to be some opinions of said gear tier.

to be rather frank from my experience with ascended items I find them to be a love hate relationship about equally split in that regaurd so lets talk about the way the gear has been handled rather badly.

jade maw fps issues

to put simply today I for the first time did fotm rather enjoying some and some not so much. however the jade maw was just cheap. my computer runs gw2 fine not great but fine fps around 8ish to 16ish. however I made it to the jade maw 3x and all 3x I had a fps of I kid you not 2

the lag was so bad I could NOT time my jump properly dieing repeatedly on the first jump. i would either try to jump and it wouldn’t respond fast enough or i’d hold the forward key to long and walk off the edge or no long enough and not mak my jump my friends cleared it to a cp I died then teled to the cp.

i highly doubt it’s my computer it’s not even 4 years old yet. the drivers are uptodate as is my software. and most of gw2 runs well infact i get better fps in wvw.

put simply this puts me a in a dilemma a i can not aquire the relics from the chest so when i do get lvl 10 rward lvl i simply can’t get it. the map which i would love to enjoy is frustrating to the point i left before the maw was dead on the 2nd time there today because all i could do was try to make it but wouldn’t get even close.

anyone having these kinds of problems and any idea if anet will do something such as a option ot remove shinging surfaces or increase the load time to decrease the lag?
