New Weapons
- Whip / Chain Whip: for Rangers, Mesmers and Warriors

New Abilities for Existing Weapons and Professions
- Mainhand pistol for Mesmer: a fast-paced ranged mainhand. This wouldn’t have a phantasm, like scepter, but one of its abilities might generate a clone that shoots long range too.
- Shortbow for Mesmer: A weapon dedicated to CC. Shoots illusionary arrows. The phantasm archer deals AoE damage to a specific area. A better form of blast finisher can be tied to this.
- Stun rod Kit for Engineers: An electrifying rod that deals melee lightning damage. This is a survival-based kit, the abilities here are mostly defensive.
- Dual arcane swords conjured weapons for Elementalists: Arcane is the only flavor that got no conjured weapon. This is a good evasive tool, suited for survivability.
- Longbow for Guardian: I don’t play Guardian, but having a weapon that shoots holy arrows seems quite nice. Perhaps someone might have an idea for a niche to this weapon.

New Utilities
- Mesmer: A new elite skill that makes you copy the appearance and weapon abilities from enemies or allies for a few seconds.
- Engineer: A new elite skill that calls a magitech-powered heavy armor and cannon for you.

What would make you laugh while playing the game? Focus on this
- More custom voice emotes for abilities “I could outrun a centaur.” grows old. Put choices from serious to comical quotes here.
- WvW airship battles. Big airships, so players roam inside fixing things, battling invading player and NPC enemies, use cannons and such. A squad leader might control the movement of the ship making it collide with the enemy vessel.

Nice post!

I’d like to add a few things to the list (sorry if you had them and I missed);
- Target of target indicator. Sometimes I want to know, for example, who a pve boss is attacking and across the spamfest of visual effects around the fight is almost impossible.
- Like above, option to tone down other player’s visual effects.
- A clearer indication of combo fields by color. I often mistake light with water, for example… they are so similar! In my opinion, they should overhaul every combo field appearance to be clearer.
- Custom chat channels, please! And customizable chat colors too.

Now, from a RPer point of view:
- Reverting town clothing fiasco. You could have implemented wardrobe system without messing with town clothing tab AT ALL.
- Lack of interaction with the environment, chairs cannot be sat upon, for example.
- Engineers backpacks look BAD if you not envisioned yours Charr-style. Allow us to hide them, or make them at least overwrite-able by regular backpacks.
- Please, turning off on-use/boon player voice “I could outrun a centaur!” is beyond terrible after a while.

Flavor/Addition ideas brainstorming!

Hey there!

So, I fell in love with the mesmer profession ever since I got the game a couple months ago, perhaps was this mixture of mage and rogue that got my interest. Plus, the phantasm/clone mechanics are really nice to see.

So, I came up with this topic to see what everybody thinks about cool ideas to be implemented on mesmers on future content, I’m sure everybody has a wishlist or something. What everybody thinks that mesmers can have? From big to tiny ideas!

For me, I’d love to have:
- A spell that lets you copy temporarily the appearance and a couple of skills of the enemy.
- Pistol mainhand weapon. Something that always bothered me, we can equip it offhand, yet we barely actually – visually – shoot the pistol, due to the long cooldown of magic bullet. It also can serve as a faster mainhand ranged weapon. We have the scepter, yeah, but it feels so slow… We have GS too that’s a bit faster, but I’m talking about mainhand here.
- Shortbow weapon. It’s just wishful thinking of mine, but I always imagined my mesmer shooting illusionary purple magic arrows from the bow, something like Hank from Dungeons and Dragons animated series.
- GS skill #3 as a blast finisher. Yeah, the delayed torch blast finisher can have wonderful effects when properly timed, but honestly that only works optimally with your own fields (unless you are in vent with another field setting character).
- iDefender as a guaranteed aggro magnet, like Thumper turret from engineers. The damage mitigation is good, but if it’s only for that, I can have better options to avoid damage on that slot skill… Now, if he was a guarantee of aggro dump, it could be much more useful!
- A speed booster that is not the focus #4. Most of leveling process I have to keep it offhand to be able to travel faster.

Tell your wishes! Maybe the developers can draw inspiration on them.

Hi! this is not a thread about all the complaints around now (wich I do support);

Where I can find images of these tonics being used? I want to buy a “Endless Country Lace Clothing Tonic” for my female mesmer, but I can’t preview it in any form. It costs around 6g in TP, and honestly I can’t spare that money if I don’t even know how it looks like.

Unless there’s a way to preview it and I don’t know. Google has no images of them either.

Thanks!

I wonder why anet messed with town clothes. Why not leave the system as it was before?

we could totally have the current nice wardrobe implementation keeping the old town clothes system, no?

I don’t even care if it was useable on combat or not, we have so much customizability with regular gear that it doesn’t even matter.

Anet, in short, you SUBTRACTED from the game, by limiting options and “counter-evolving” a system (town clothes) that worked just fine!

you created AVOIDABLE problems by:
- Crippling customization of one aspect of your game
- Refunds for gem store expenses are counterproductive and more of a hassle

A fix, if is still or ever doable: revert the town clothes change. Let us have that separate screen for them as before, but let us go in combat wearing them.

Sorry again, but I’m yet to see the advantage of this move of yours.

Does anybody know where I can find the appearance of these new tonics that are being sold in the TP?

Endless lace something, casual something, etc, etc.

I want to buy one, but they are not that cheap… without knowing what they look like. Apparently I can’t preview them.
