So my support ticket for being falsely banned has been in for 3 days now. The status of it has said unresolved for the entire time, i have not got a single words back yet. But today the status of the ticket changed from unresolved to Updated, yet i still have not got a single word. Does this mean they are currently helping me and i will be back on tonight

I’d say it depends on the complexity of a case. Some tickets take longer than others depending on how much they have to investigate. There’s also the human factor to take into consideration. If you write a ticket in anger, the person on the receiving end might not be so inclined to prioritize your ticket.
When i do my support tickets, i calm my anger and write it in a professional manner. Its day 3 now and i have hear absolutely nothing at all

it is hard to say. It depends on the situations and the different incidences but overall, the time of resolution has decreased. In any case, should your incidence remain unresolved for today, please post your reference number in the following thread. Keep on checking as Fabsm says though.

From the answer of other users, it takes 1-3 days to have an answer, but in the meantime check if your account is already reinstated. It happens.

Could someone from Anet please tell me what the current support ticket queue time is. I sent in my ticket 42 hours ago after being falsely permabanned and have not got a single word back yet.

Man every bot wave is the same stuff. To the innocent people in this topic:
Stop saying lots of people got banned for no reason or stuff like that just cause you read people say they got banned for no reason in this thread or in general. In almost every game every bot wave this happens.. and guess what? most of them are actually bot / 3rd party program users.
That doesn’t mean that new methods shouldn’t be found to have a higher rate of success. Clearly they don’t use 100% human judgement to give out a ban.

There is NO WAY that every ban is checked by a human being. I bet for 75% or more of us, if they just check our chat logs, our move patterns, and our sporadic use of skills, they could tell we’re not bots.

Gaile, may i ask you a question. When i was banned by your team for botting (Which i wasn’t), you say they check and make sure that the ban is needed and that it is actually a bot. But i have a hard time believing that. When i was banned it was after i had logged off after a night of farming, while farming i was actively talking to friends in party chat, pinging the rares i found, salvaging those rares as i found them, and talking in map chat. I’d think that they would look for a run pattern and a skill pattern as well, which i don’t follow cause im honestly a very sporadic player. So i’m just wondering, how can the mistake be made like this. In this situation i’d like you to give me the benefit of the doubt and answer my question. Thank you Gaile. Good work for the most part on this game.

Hey guys, thought I would post about my ban for some reassurance. I was banned for botting, macros etc. I was banned on Monday afternoon and my ban was lifted on Wednesday afternoon. I received an email from GM Lloyd stating my account was banned in error and has been re-instated. When I got home that day I was able to log into my account.
If you’ve been banned wrongly it will be resolved

Did you get anything as compensation? You obviously lost gold gain over those 2 days and the fact that they let that happen without giving you anything for the troubles and mistakes is absurd.

It sounds like some of us have been reported for botting just because we have been seen farming events. Today I noticed that the place where there used to be ranger bots near Shelter in CS (the spider spawn just to the south of the gate) was bot free for once. So I went in and killed the spiders to rejoice in the discovery. I wonder if someone reported me for being a bot at that moment? lol
I really hope it doesn’t work that way, i.e. getting banned right away if someone reports you, because that would be stupid and irresponsible. There has to be multiple checks in place to confirm someone is actually a bot, and I am not sure if they have such measures in place right now.
On topic though, I asked about compensation already but my post got moved/merged and without a reply. I got falsely banned, missed my daily and guild activities, and who knows when they will get to my case to unban me.
It already sucks to be wrongly accused and banned and I believe it would only be fair to get some kind of compensation for the trouble and annoyance. I don’t know, like 100 gems for each day they ban us?
I dunno about you, but with my farming strategy, i can pull in about 12g a day. Im banned for no reason right now and every day im banned im losing 12-15g. I want compensation for that. This is gonna put my legendary farming back by a TON. That’s not fair.

I got banned this morning wrongfully. Every day this ban lasts i’m missing about 12g from my farming. I would love to have compensation to get that back. Sadly i do not think it’s going to happen.

I was confused this morning when i went to log on Guild Wars 2 and i got a error message saying i was Permabanned for Botting or using a 3rd party program. I have never botted and i have never used a program that assists playing the game. (I’m assuming that’s what a third party program is). Last night i play until about 7am, farming cursed shore plinx event chain, then today when i log on, im banned. I can assure you i’m playing 100% properly and have no idea why i recieved this ban. Are you not allowed to farm a certain area too much? Please help. I have emailed the support team and have a ticket open. I haven’t got a response yet and it’s been all day. I was really hoping i’d be back on and playing tonight so i can get closer to my legendary (Which is why i was farming so much). Please Anet, i have faith in you, please reinstate my account, i did nothing wrong except enjoy your game abit too much. My support ticket number is 121107-002692. Thanks.

So i was just running through some quests as my thief and i get to a quest called “Fixing the Blame” and currently you cannot start the quest. You go to the NPC to start it and he is broken. He just spits off random phrases. Please fix it QQ
