yes salty. when doing war vs war whit headbut brake cc all the time, and the heal. Rousing Resilience, plz do something els with this trait. It´s so ……. boring, duels that last for a billion years until one get ccd and blalala to death. plz agree with me. QQ
so u like a 3sec stun on a 20sec cd + taunt, then a stun brake on 10sec + heal 2,5k on stun brake (if u spec for it) and full adrenaline + the regen on that? it´s stupid in my opinion. Then go mace shield -.-

so tired of the kitten speci being so dumbed down, spam cc whit headbutt regen like hell. gw2 has just become a skill rotation spam…. all classes has been dumbed downd, and the old fun ones are just….. do somthing about it. anyone els feel this way?

The aura gives +100 to Po, Pr, To, Vi and +25% movment speed at stage 7.
Think some like it and some don´t. I prefer no advantage when im fighting other players.
So do WvW players want the aura around keeps and towers, yes, no?
ah is a hot problem, all classes have it. Specialisations is a dumbed down version of the original classes. sustain sustain sustain, block block block, doge doge doge, spam spam spam. xD :.( Think they should do a complete overhaul of the specis actually.

This is so laughable
PvP is suppose to give alot of classes the ability to play different roles. Healer, sustain, bunker, dps.
We had this before HOT and it worked great for raned/unranked ques and you saw alot of builds in the AG/ESL leagues.
Ive already seen many people come up witht eh same build as I. Either running sword/torch or sword/shield with longbow.
Defense/displine/beserker with cleansing ire. Warrior got better ok, but did PvP situation get better?
Still no class diversity, people saying ohhh i can 1 vs 1 druids/revs/necros now. Yeah thats great that you can beat a crappy player on the elite class.
Keep bumping your own post but changing a meta to simply include a class and slowly demote 2 others with out looking into the power creep/ condi creep/ forced class play of condi mesmers and eles.
Simply giving warrior better healing didnt change the overall problem with PvP.
Ye, first was happy for the change since we got competitive again. But i realised that it pushes war more to berserker, and one build. Ye adrenal suck, speci is still rotation spam, brainless and boring. Still want to see speci nerfs for all classes.
Are most of the posters here upset because of the loss of pierce in choke points or on walls? Damage is still decent and you can still melee and kite with a aoe burst…so really doesn’t seem all that changed tbh other than killing clusters in zergs.
Yeah, mostly upset about the loss of piercing. The damage nerf was pretty substantial, but the removal of piercing totally destroyed the skill. With correct positioning you could line up double or triple kills in WvW.
That’s the job of Killshot (Which frankly needs its cast time reduced), not Gunflame, IMO. Let the bursts be different. Gunflame is for blowing up stacked groups of enemies.
agree. ks piercing, gunflame blow up. Then you get a reson for using ks.
Don´t like it man sorry. First priority should be having a high population on maps. They should also put focus on safe bets, not work extra for something that may work or not. Like putting warcamp wp closer to mid in dessert = less running. Remove more traps etc <- safe bet, most will appreciate it. The reward track was grate. Non will get disappointed buy stuff like that i think.

No, not 2h. Had 50q when i last was online. But when i got in there it was nonstop fighting. They have overall done one of the best patches in a long time, wvw is full of players. It´s a beta and anet has got so much right on this one. I think you also need to wait a while before you can see what the q times will be like. First weekend after a patch will make servers more populated and like i said before, wait for old borders and see what happens.

queue 100 = 100 people had to log out before you can get in
so if those 100 people stay for 4 hours , queue is going to be 100 for awhile
Kopa.4708Ive been in Tarnished coast since the game was released, we have ALWAYS been a high population server, and we have ALWAYS had a high population in wvw, we never needed to be merged with another server, we didnt need the population boost, especially now.

Well thats no fun. Why don´t you try dessert changes while you wait? or q there also? When alpine return it will prob be less stress on eb. Probably have to wait a while to let the patch sink in and see if the q stays for 1-2h. I think anet did a grate job on this patch, and a q on 200 is a good sign for a popular game.
+ dessert went in the right direction, still things to fix there aswell. Id like to se wc waypoints closer to the middle of the map, that will reduce distances u need to run.

This patch was one of the best in a long time. yes, still things to fix but it´s a beta. And this patch was a good one, need that feedback aswell. Not only the complains. (don´t want wvw to die) I had a blast in wvw 2 days playing with this patch. Had some lag and q, but not that bad for me. If it´s a issue for others, it need fixes. Better with q then empty maps in my opinion tho.

The spring patch grate, think they are getin on track now
DuoMaxwell, “So lets just nerf it, and leave rev and mes alone basically?”. I hope they get nerfs also. I want to see some players pick old builds, not only herald, dh and chrono etc. But i bet 90% of guardians still will run dh longbow after this patch.

7th best class, hmm don´t agree. One skill won´t effect the guardians overall dmg that much. If something popular gets a nerf, it always get the same response.
i like it, nerfin speci buffin old traitlines. More of this on all classes.
coman, longbow +traps was op, most guardians run this. This stuff needs to be done, want to see it done on other classes aswell.
i love this change. /warrior. Next nerf druids and revs more. We got gunflame nerf, happy for that. Tired of all that run speci specs. More verity= nerfin the specializations. And also, if I can kill mesmers and engis on my war with the old builds, I’m sure you can do it on dh aswell. xD

So finally alpine on the way back, yey. Going to put my reasons for enjoining them more from a roamers perspective. Put some childish arrows with colors on map to showcase.
First my preferred spawn is the south parts of the alpine maps. Reson: close to enemy spawn and you often ran in to enemy players where paths cross (red). If sup or towers where taged, u could quickly get to them and fight players (green). If south was empty of players u hed north for those camps and ran in to the players spawning from there (blue arrows). North camp, fun place to go if you wanted fights. Home server had fast access to it.
The middle area (pink) i hardly used and think can bee improved alot. Id prefer a flat open surface there and a lore to make players go there more often. The dessert middle point looks cooler and should be a good spot to get fights.
So that brings me to my constructive feedback on desert. Move sup closer to mid and waypoints as well (black,blue). Make it so you easily can go to the sup camps via the mid area and to the keeps/towers as well. Think this will make the mid part a hotspot to get fights. And remove the cripples stealth and other environment stuff. No auto upgrades, done.
Eb is using the mid part best at the moment with sm, and fast access to it. Don´t want a sm in the mid of alpine or dessert tho, but a bigger lore to cross with the enemy there.

yes i say i don´t like gunflame. But i would destroy a gunflame war on my rev unless he get lucky. Its just hot…
warrior is still in a bad state. If gunflame is getting nerfd look in to classes like dh, druid, scrapper and rev aswell. Condi also overall. Speci to be on par with old builds to get a bigger spec option. Main war since launch, still preform better on rev (3weeks playtime) same gear. But ye still no fan of gunflame, think the old builds are way more fun to play but weak as hell. But since anet have decided to do speci stronger, gunflame needs to hit for a stupid amount.

yep, can make camps more important, prolong the cap time instead. But buffin guards, no thanks.
jeski, i think most wvw players want what he is asking for, been on the forums for a long time now. The old borders fit fine, guild hall upgrades and pve stuff don´t fit in wvw.
love the idea. More stuff that are important outside towers and keeps, for big groups and solo roamers. And killing pve players, nom nom nom.
Na, i think this is what wvw players don´t want. Personally want to get away from traps, stealth areas etc and just fight players with no help from pve stuff. Think sige weapons are more then enough.

What would the sell points of the game be, then? I wouldn’t nerf the specs if it were me.
The sell point would be that you get more options to spec your class. Don’t think that the specializations should be stronger tho. And hizen maybe play ok in this vid, but it´s mostly the build that do it. Variety in builds is a good thing, forcing players to go with specializations to stay competitive is just… bad.

[Constructive Feedback] listen to your players and bring back the old maps now, if u want to continue work on the dessert ones do betas for them again. wvw should be easy roaming and finding fights, no pve. dessert fails on this. If wvw guilds start to disband leaving for other games you won´t get them back. I say all that want the old ones back, stop putting money in to the game until it´s done.
Yes, bring them back. Work on new ones that make roaming, gvg etc esey. No pve in wvw…. Just do it anet. And nerf speci, they shold be on par with old builds. Hot fail.

Got a macbook pro (latest one) OS X EL capitan. Trying to install gw2 but got stuck on 57%. The client don’t respond and won’t close when i try and quit it. Any one got this problem and a fix?

I welcome nerfs to the warrior in the sense u should not get it all in one spec! (dps, cc, regain, condition removal etc).
what i think you have failed to see is that some classes can avoid our dps while hitting us. a BIG issue is to counter chills and blinks from certain classes in some builds (necro, enginer and messmer). Chills and blinks makes it hard to get to your target while you are eating their dps. When you get to the target they will probably have full endurance while i will have blown all mine and a lot of cds just to get to my target. They will then avoid most of my abilities. Thieves avoidances can be countered because you don’t need to eat dps output to get to them (they will often get to u). My suggestion is to give warriors a singel target pull with a reasonable cd.
Give warriors something to counter chill builds and messmers blinks!
