Back in my day all we had was Blue and we liked it. Kids these days.

Tonight in WvW I noticed that Venegeful Hammers was randomly discontinuing its upkeep. If I moved certain areas it would remove the upkeep completely so it seems to be terrain related.

My guild did it with 7. The key is to bring a nice mix of conditions, crowd control and outright damage. Reflections are hugely nice too for those crazy Triceratops vine spewer things.

Have one person who’s very mobile stay back to trigger the quest while everyone waits in the middle. Approach each vine slowly and pull the trash spawns then its fairly easy.

This is worse than the new Fantastic Four.

Truthfully you’re going to be hard pressed anywhere you go to find recruits. WvW has been in such a stale state for the last 2 years that everyone in lower tiers have either A. Committed to a guild or B. Are cool with playing hugely casual.

You’re no stranger to the fact that in the last year and a half anyone looking for an actual fight has moved up to tier 4 or above. Unfortunately everyone either found a guild to run with or quit.

I came back to the game after a year break and went back to BP- its a desolation of casual play. For what its worth who we’ve matched up against lately may help:

AR: Could possibly use another fight oriented group and could maybe farm players there.
GoM: We pulled them for a week, seemed okay but mostly puggish. Could do for an organized guild
SF: Trash. Mega Blob server w/ only mega blob mentality. Don’t bother
SoR: See above.

Below us is the desolation of ET, FC and DR. IoJ just got MR and their usual transfer low to farm numbers then move up so I’d avoid that too.

In truth- Let HoT settle a few weeks. That’s going to bring a lot of people back (hopefully) and see what you can pull.

Barely Legal Boom Squad is a guild of long time gamers looking to crop up a little fun in the franchise we’ve enjoyed since Guild Wars 1. Primarily we are a WvW guild stationed on Borlis Pass with the goal of having fun and wrecking face with any level of experience. Recently we’ve found some interested in all aspects of the game and want to expand our player base before HoT drops so we can have big happy fun times.

We’re an adult guild who constantly run our mouths and say semi-offensive things. We are happy to teach any aspect of the game that you have questions on. We have our own TS3 server, site and if you have interest in WvW we are happy to provide a bit of help to transfer over to BP or get you geared into the group builds we provide as a stepping stone to your personal style. We are new player friendly so if you’re brand new to the game and want a group of snarky folks with a sense of humor to play with this is your guild.

Again, we’re looking for all character classes, all experience levels and cool people that enjoy playing with folks who have a sense of humor but also get the job done. These are pixels after all so we aren’t interested in making GW2 our second jobs, we get yelled at enough in our first ones.

100% rep is not required- We want you to want to rep.
TS3 required when running with guild in dungeons, missions or wvw/pvp.

Who we are:

BanG is a guild that was made out of veterans returning from the game after long breaks. Our core of players has been together for 8+ years since Guild Wars 1. Our primary focus is all aspects of WvW from roaming to havoc to zerg busting.

What we Do:

We look for the fight every night. We are constantly looking for builds and synergies to make us better and keep the game fresh and love working as a team. We will run regardless of how many we have and not stop running just because we die. We occasionally throw up a commander hat or play for PPT, but mostly we are looking for the fights and bags. We don’t run from fights regardless of odds.

What we are looking for:

All classes, all skill levels. We want people who want to fight and want to be good at it.

What we don’t Do:

Drama
Fair Weather
Complain that someone is cheating when/if we die

What we require:

We want people who want to play together. If you’re going to join a guild and never rep or run with them what’s the point?

People who are open minded to builds, weapon sets, armor changes, and approaches to fights

People to have ts3, actively listen and follow driving instructions.

18+ with a sense of humor.

People to respect other people. I feel like this one is self explanatory but if you’re going to insult someone, keep it to yourself. Also we expect people to keep it civil in map chats.

What we don’t require:

100% rep- Rep when you raid. Our goal is for you to want to rep us all the time

Attendance- No one wants to be a baby sitter. If you don’t want to raid that night, no problem.

True though. But most DB WvW guilds went to TC, Mag, FA or YB. Only a couple guilds went to HoD.

15min+ queues on reset night are not unusual

I’ve just learned that a TC guild went to HOD.

Would that be [STUN]? I saw one of them on our BL reset night and asked if they were coming here and was told they were scouting multiple servers. Are you sure?

Its honestly whatever. Can’t stop people from moving so it is what it is. If it ends terrible people will leave and that will be the story. Pixel life goes on.

I’ll never understand why in a game called guild wars there aren’t actual wars between guilds.

It just seems to me that the easiest option is make a 20v20 custom arena map and watch gem sales shoot straight up. Tides folks over and tests the waters to see how popular that format would be to market as an esport.

I’m in T4 NA and my group of 7 is periodically lagging out to disconnect every 5 minutes or so. We are all feeling the lag but only 1 or 2 will dc fully each time.

I just want to mention that last night my group of 10 was causing lag just running to a location. I don’t know if that’s relevant at all but I’m fairly certain that on t5 there was no 60v60 fight happening on the map at the time.

T4 and its lagging with a 20vs20 fight…

This is pathetic. Either admit something is wrong or fix it quietly. You expect people to buy a expansion pack thats a living story with a new profession with this type of kitten?

I just have a quick question regarding unidentified dyes being able to produce the TP exclusive dyes. Last night one of my guildies got a Deep Glacial Sky dye off a regular unidentified dye and I’ve heard of it happening a few other times. I was a bit skeptical myself until it happened in a run I was in. Is this how it is supposed to be designed with an ultra rare chance or is it a bug since it was a gemstore only item?

I hope YB and EB keep pounding on BP. Its really dropped A LOT of the kittening terrible PVE scum that have thought it a good idea to come into wvw. Reset was nearly unplayable with the lag and terrible pugs trying to follow people around who had no want or need for them. In my opinion you guys are doing us a big favor.

I’m looking forward to facing FA for the first time.

Can’t wait to run into DR again, unfortunately it will be head to head this go around. Feed back will be greatly appreciated. With this I’m eager to see SBI running at full strength.

Wanting to see how DB rallies after losing some guilds. They are still a fun fight.

Really pulling for IoJ now that their fairweathers all left. Can the roots of IoJ make a statement?

Good fights with our old friends Yaks Bend and Crystal Desert. Our matchups a few months ago were great.

Fighting NSP’s roamers and small man groups. Always a challenge and a respectable fight.

How will Ehmry be without their guilds that hopped ship? I still expect the hatred to flow on the forums and the battle field.

Leagues have destroyed a lot of servers but I’m eager to see how BP measures up to the challenge. Hopes are high, organization seems good, bring on the next 7 weeks and happy hunting to everyone.

Transfers are great.

I’ve always been a big proponent of play where you’re happy. Before the leagues no one really cared where folks transferred to but now that its for a reward its a huge issue.

If you aren’t enjoying a game you paid for, find a way to enjoy it. If you still can’t then you are kittened.

Leagues messed up a lot of things. IoJ was a good fight and is a solid server. Don’t let fairweathers leaving get you down.

Best of luck to all the guilds who found homes on other servers. Hopefully you find what you need elsewhere.

Just for perspective we are the Green borderland. Is any other match up having issues with lag and disconnects in their Green BLs?

Everyone is making the assumption that Devon Carver actually plays this game. Until he or his team makes a logical fix to ANYTHING in WvW it won’t matter what server he claims to be on as he doesn’t play anyway.

That being said, I wouldn’t mind another round with NSP, their small man play is excellent and as a server they always bring good fights.

I know to fight him at great distance now.

So again I’m going to ask.

Why is 4 NA leagues not doable?

So explain to me again why 4 leagues is out of the question? Save the “skill” and “if you don’t want a challenge I don’t know what to say.” I’d like a real answer to my question this time around.

The thing is I do want a challenge. I want a challenge that makes sense. Matching a rank 12 server against servers in t1 is ludicrous. There is absolutely no kittening skill involved when it comes to the Tiers or Ranks. You are ranked purely on your population and how much round the clock ppt you can manage. You made some cure all change to the glicko for random match ups which flopped and now you’re introducing a new system that is beyond garbage that is going to ruin the fun for anyone not ranked 1, 2, 3 and 13, 14, 15.

Truthfully, feels to me you want to transfer spike top tiers to boost those gem sales. I’d like to think otherwise but everything I’m reading is pointing right in that direction.

So, back to my original question Mr. Carver. Why is 4 leagues not possible?

So do 4 leagues in NA. This eliminates the enormous population difference from server 1 to server 12 and 13 to 24.

If you really think the server that is ranked 12th at the start of this stands any chance against the top servers you are delusional.
