Loots are not equals to the difficulty

To the OP, the problem is this game is designed for casuals and carebears. That being said, most of them don’t have the will or the patience to do dungeons, but still want to get the same rewards. So, instead of taking a firm stance on allowing good players to get the best loot, ANet decided that skill shouldn’t be a part of your ability to get good loot.

In fact, they made it so the some of the best chests in the game drop from world bosses which are total zerg fests and take no skill at all.

I love how you use the word “care bears” with thinly veiled contempt. Because it’s much better to be a hard core elitist, than a person who plays games for fun.

I’m a care bear…and proud of it.

ignoring both sides of this

why would you be proud of having a casual hobby? did you really feel the need to go there, to that defense? really? come on.

I think you’re missing my point completely. In fact, I know you are.

Being a care bear doesn’t necessariliy make you ‘casual’. It means you enjoy playing something less competitively. The issue is that people use this word as an insult, implying that there’s somehow something wrong with playing a game for fun.

I think there’s nothing wrong with a playing a game for fun, and I can think of several things possibly wrong with being ultra competitive.

At any rate, who are you to tell me what I should or shouldn’t defend?

yea i was ignoring it, did you not read the very first thing i wrote? lol

i just think it’s hilarious you felt the need to throw in that you’re proud of yourself for having fun with a game

Why Is Leveling Experience *So* Inconsistent?

agree with the OP.

thief and elementalist are pain to level up on lower levels, they are very squishy, but don’t do more damage than the rest, most of tier1 utilities are crap.

warrior and guardian are very easy, have good utility on the start.

necro feels quite easy to me, maybe because I learned to play…. (my current leveling project)

I had far more trouble leveling my warrior than my ele.

uh okay? you’re in the minority

Camera rotation/mouse turn lag in this game?

While there is still some inertia left, zero inertia doesn’t sit well with a lot of people and can even make them sick. Most issues involving core functionality like the camera or keybinds always have two sides (sometimes more). We try to please as wide of a player base as possible, but if we come to the ultimate conclusion that we have to give an option for it, we will.

not to revive an old thread, but this reasoning is absurd to me. WoW’s camera turning has zero inertia, and i’ve never once heard anyone complain about motion sickness.
and even if it does, maybe you just shouldn’t play games? Why do the majority have to suffer because the minority gets motion sickness?

Is this a reportable offense?

is this your first time dealing with online game elitism?
