I have the same issue it started about a week ago, GW2 just keep crashing for every 5- 20 minute and I don’t have any DPS meters .
All GW2 instrument can ONLY play in the Key of a minor or C major, if a Song has any occidental in it it WILL out of tone even after transpose it to -a minor scale , one a song has been transpose the has transpose it the instrument lose some play range.
In nut shell there a lots work to be done before a song is playable with GW2 instruments because 90% of any song is not in the key of a- minor. So are the sound team going to add semitone any time soon ?
The game is totally unplayable for me now, before the update I randomly crashes every 10 minutes after the 64 bit update I crashes every 3 minutes. I have been play this game for over 2 years and never have this many crashes..
please just fix it asap.
A lot more song will be playable with the sharp and flat note, why not use the profession skill key for those note ? (f1-f5). Out of all the instruments in the gem store only Harp and lute has 3 octave, so those are the best buy. Please make all instrument has 3 octave and add sharp and flat note, bring more music into game.
So, we know stealth is op in this game and there is no counter to stealth…

Also, the two classes with ready access to the stealth mechanic (Thieves and Mesmers) rely on that mechanic as their primary defense mechanism. What is your proposal to maintain the viability of these two classes in large-scale PvP if we start weakening this essential class mechanic?
You are right, but not only that is their defense mechanism its also an offense mechanism. Thief have total control of when and where to fight stealth also gives +critical chance +damage(backstab); gain initiative; +movement speed. PU Mesmer stealth and let the clone do the job. We might start look at all class mechanic as well.
wouldn’t it be easier to add a short Revealed to the effects made on Light Fields?
it would make sense too because light combats shadows.(for example the aoe retaliation from Blast Finishers could apply 1 second of revealed to enemies)
This is a good Ideia.
I would change that to light fields could cause revealed on stealth targets. The stealth character can still avoid the light field but it gives some kind of control to the character who uses and places the light field.

(I see what you tried to do there… trying to apply physics and logic to a game with “magic”, in an attempt to get what you want. I would say your attempt is less clever and more devious than the homeless person in the picture below. At least he needs it for science! And if you don’t read the last word, he’s being very truthful.)
Alternately ‘magic’ works the other way around as well, makes water; fire; light to reveal.
How do you create water field:
By spitting saliva into air and ground, then expend the water molecule to cover a large area. Its ‘magic’ , the saliva on ground licks your wound to heals you, again is magic.

You lost target when the thief goes into stealth and does not retarget it when thief reveal, by the time you click back on the thief you dead or almost dead by backstab and heartseeker.
All range weapon is useless against thief. If you fire a range weapon with out a target your projectile just hitting the ground and your feet. There for a full glass range build is not an option for WvW roaming as you always has to carry a melee weapon.
My suggestions:
Why not adept Wildstar’s telegraph system, the aoe is already telegraphed if you see a red circle you know is enemy aoe and dodge away. Make all projectile fire forward if you don’t have a target and show us damage we deal.That way thief can still stealth all they want, and all weapon are useful even with out a target
You do realize you can aim ranged weapons without a target? Hold down right mouse button and press the skill.
And guys, just because there aren’t many HARD counters to stealth doesn’t mean there aren’t ANY counters to it. Don’t come crying to the forums because you died to a thief. Maybe you should learn the soft counters to thief instead of looking for a solid answer. It’s not about what skills to use its about how you PLAY against a thief. You guys are all looking for the wrong thing when it really comes down to simple gameplay mechanics. (AKA turning your body so that you reduce their damage by half)
Besides, I bet most of the people that cry about getting “Omg insta 1 shotted by thief pls nurf” are glass. That’s what thieves are meant to kill.
Turning body is not a soft counter it does not let me auto retarget the thief when unstealth. We need to see the damage done to a stealth target, a better UI.

After spend 3.2k festival token + 2 laurels to purchase 2 ’ Scelerite Karka Shell’ with item description : “can be upgrade in mystic forge”, only to found out it cannot be upgrade in anyway. This is clearly false advertising, please Arenanet may I have a refund or a fix please ?
Whoever can spam the most stealth can win or run away, if stealth is a fair and just mechanic why don’t just give it to all classes ?
Any idea what that is ? Or how it will be created ?
I have the same problem, when I point the mouse at WvW icon at PVE there is no bonuses but once enter WvW my bonuses show up this problem happen after the edge of the mists update.
