Oh, and lol at your comment about killing esports. ANET needs to try something at this point to actually make it an esport. It’s just sad when big tournaments can only pull in 700-1200 viewers.

omg cant decide which build yet…i got many ideas and pretty much 5 armor and weaponsets for my mes…..im glad i kepts my condi gear and perplexity runes and torment runes… we shall see.

We now have a class that completely hardcounters our attempts to backstab by throwing out random AoE.

Lock On: Striking a foe in stealth analyzes them, revealing them and inflicting them with 10 stacks of vulnerability for 8 seconds. This trait has a 20 second internal cooldown.
It was explained during the Ready Up. It somehow didn’t make it into the slides.

i disagree with op completely. burning can also stack now and if there are mesmer and thief on the team every engineer will use it to shut down thief, especially in low rank play. i think d/p meta zerk is dead and i’m not sure about s/d being a proper alternative (was nerfed hard also). when engi runs anti stealth trait thief d/x does little damage. high risk low reward gameplay
Thief changes are strong asf, but engi might wreck thieves, yes. SD wasn’t nerfed.
ofc s/d was very good until november or something, now it’s much weaker. i dont know any good pvp player who still plays it apart frome diehard s/d thief sizer, who retired i think
