Timers! For the buff on champions.
Was going to do this myself but don’t have the time:
Make a native C# applikation that communicates with your webapp and sends the players position, so that we can see our team on a map. (Lock it in by having a requirement that the C# app is running so the system knows which team the player is on)
Edit: Also the auto-refresh symbol bumps the layout down when in a smaller window.
Very awesome tool so far!

Very nice work, since someone already did WordPress I might just do Drupal when I have the time.
Will be hoping they patch it in instead.
Currently when you log into the forums and the webpage asks for the google authenticator number the input field has allowed autocomplete which for me results in a list of huge numbers dropping down.
Could you please fix this and disable autocomplete for the input?
yes I was just about to come here and post about this as well. I have also only been able to trigger it by going into the Mad King mini dungeon, but it would be awesome if this was an permanent option.
Here is another screen.
Oy, I think I’m too dumb to understand this.
So are you saying my existing account, example@gmail.com … if I go to my GW2 user account and type in example+guildwars2@gmail.com .. any mail sent to that will go to my example@gmail.com?
So that when I receive email with the guildwars2 tag added to it, I know where it’s coming from to track it? Or this is supposed to stop hackers .. but how?
Sorry, I want to understand this, but I’m afraid it’s a bit over my head .. anyone simplify it for me?
The point is that if you use say “guildwars+example@gmail.com” in you guild wars account it is a little bit more safe, because if you just used “example@gmail.com” on a forum that got hacked, they might have your email adress, and your password, but they do not have the “guildwars” part which is needed to log in to the game.
At least this is how I understood it.
I am also one who have these issues. And this picture shows my spec as well as my performance. Changing resolution, or settings or anything does not help. I get 40ish FPS when standing still in PvE alone. In WvW I get around 5-10 FPS. Sometimes 20 if I walk alone far away from everything.
I so agree with OP! Make karma a more used currency and get rid of the tokens. I also like the idea of repeating the same stuff reduces rewards, motivating for more exploration and trying more stuff!
Suggestion: Some form of middle ground dungeon for training.

My first dungeon reaction was: OMG I just died to that mob, and he was not even a boss.. After I learned that lesson dungeons got so much better!
I’m noticing a tone with many of those wanting a LFG tool. Impatience and a sort of attitude. Swear words and sarcasm.
Those types might not realize there is a healthy community (since they are already the types to want to troll it or ignore it or add joking remarks), but the rest don’t want a repeat of having to watch that type of behavior become standard.
You don’t simply say “give us this cause the others that don’t like it can ignore it”. It doesn’t work that way, and it belittles the situation. Or you don’t grasp the situation and think it is that simple.
Once a tool is added, it becomes the only way to find a group. You can’t do “LFG for X” because it’ll just be ignored or people say “just use the tool”. It becomes the standard, and any other way falls to the wayside. The completely random PuG. You trade time for people. (and no one is arguing they like spamming LFG either, they are arguing the LFG tools invite too much negative behavior)
Those who have personality types that are…. immature, they will group with the first person to take them. Or will accept the first “I’ll go” when asking for others. They never know others might do it different. They don’t know that they are the types others might be avoiding. So they don’t get it.
The more socially acceptable types, they tend to just be looking for filler too. But if there are red flags with how immature a person is responding, they’ll not take that person. They’ll talk with the other random members of like-mind and kick that person and seek another mature person. Or they’ll tell that person they are acting poorly, and to stop or they won’t be allowed come. And the other person learns their behavior is not acceptable and changes, or they don’t and they only play with their own immature kind. I’m trying to put this as polite and delicate as possible.
So my point is, the socially acceptable community members might not be chatting up a storm and socializing, but they end up able to avoid getting that random “worse PuG in the world” feeling every other run.
The simple act of talking allows people to weed each other out. Those that are the worst of the worst personalities, of course they don’t want that. They’ll be ignored for being what they are.
And so far, it takes 60 seconds to find people to do anything. Whether it is a dungeon run, or a champion needs killing, or an event spawned. I highly doubt I’ve been that lucky and everyone else has been waiting long stretches of time.
This post made up my mind about it. Because at first I thought that a LFG tool would be a good time saver and make stuff easy. But reading this thread and realizing the attitude of the people who wants the tool compared to the people who don’t see it necessary is huge. I never played WoW, but just reading this thread I can totally understand what the general troll behavior WoW is infamous for is, and we do not want that kind of behavior here.
Sounds like a good idea, especially the part where you can choose how much it costs to mail you. (Within limits of course)
This.
I actually thought that this was the system that the game was going to have. If you go back to a low level zone to play with a friend you get downleveled, which leads to the mobs actually being able to kill you if you do not pay attention, why not give us rewards that we actually can use for it?
The Tithes is a good idea, Tax is somewhat enforced though.
Good point. I guess it would take time to get people to realize it by adding more and more filters. But if any game could pull it through it is this one cause the community is not a total [insert bad word]
As far as I know the skill should change to the second ability once the first has been activated. So even if you have it bound to something pressing that key again should trigger the second ability.
The title leaves it pretty clear.
But here is the motivation:
This way people would be able to use /say for these kind of messages, and if you add a player to player trade system(Suggestion) this would promote certain areas being used as marketplaces where people would go to sell and buy stuff without annoying the rest of the map with their WTB/WTS messages.
Would promote role-play behaviour (go to the marketplace to buy stuff), and it would clean up the /map chat for the people who want to discuss other things there.
I would not say slow, I am 80 and have 2.5 G
