good power necro ,burn medi Dh , trap dh ,some druids and mes can kill thief if u know how to protect your self u can keep toe to toe vs pro thief i find out that dire condi chrono with stealth and blocks can keep pro thief at bay having stun break and good condi output and condi clear the stuns will be from steal and and basilisk venom and skill pistol 4 keep moving be ready to block n stealth if needed something like this

what kill me the most is good condi spam thief
best mesmer pull that i love is at the hill east of bay behind briar when enemy place catas be sure some will die from fall hhhhh
best part as thief or ranger in a zerg is focus party always stay on the edge and try to pick stragglers in the back line like eles , necros ,mes…. know when to engage and disengage try to pick enemy who spawn after death if u close to enemy spawn points
roaming thief or ranger u need good mobility and high survival u can not kill every one know when to pull back and have escape plan example u go to a camp and u find a dh with traps better move on as u will have the dh and the vet guards unless u are realy good try to take down supply dollys contest keeps give info to your server zerg about movement of enemy zergs
thief have good access to mobility and stealth
ranger mobility and survival
mesmers are also good roamers by the way i roam on mes most of the time
and there is the pull of the terrain when u get pulled by dh and fly up the air and fall down to your death lol where there is no obstruction or nothing
wvw full support role best paired with revs and guards this is no dmg build but can stand lot of dmg and condi its only for wvw guild raid with specific builds for teams of 15 and up not for open tag zergs
power mes for focus team with thiefs engis power druids….and condi chronos for solo roaming again this for wvw not pve
simple lay out that i use you can can change lot of stuff from viper to full dire to different sigils to sword , dagger , torch…..to any thing that make more condis as you like but druid can never go ghost every trap will reveal you when hit the target and 2 sec stealth from sigil when u lay a trap so if u lay trap on some one u do not enter stealth u be revealed trap druid are for ambush and surprise they not good for dueling unless bad players and some bad thief that jump into them and panic and clearing camps
there is no ghost druid never will be
i always use gaming laptop from Asus rog to MSI i have 2 MSI laptops GT72 and GE60 they both been with me for more then a year if u have good idea u can clean it and dust it out every few months also changing thermal paste every year i use artic ice thermal paste my gt72 have gtx980m playing games like gw2 wvw raid for 2 to 3 hours and even the witcher 3 for hours and other games my gpu h80 to 85c 80c on i7 cpu
ge60 have gtx 860m and i7 4720 gpu hit 90C cpu 80c
just dose not mean laptops are better then gaming tower but if u maintain it well can give good resaults
Asus Rog with dual fans have better cooling Msi have turbo cooling mode on fans
Msi beat asus on keyboard made by steelseries and sound lot more better then Asus
i use cooling pad under my laptop + external keyboard and mouse help lot better to play games

the only cure for those is trap druid its a 50/50 chance 2 days ago a ghost thief killing roamers leaving spawn and i was one of them i switched to trap he got owned so quick of course the trick is Shared Anguish ,Empathic Bond , Druidic Clarity your pet will take some of the condis lay down flame , viper , spike and be ready to use entangle then healing spring that thief was down in few sec didnt see him after i waitted but didnt show again also dire trap/burn dh can do so much dmg to those thiefs

didnt have much issue runing dire chrono with inspiration but best way to beat one of those is trap/druid with Empathic Bond Shared Anguish and Healing Spring and burn DH with meditation and traps
its up of what u going to play as pu condi mes i run dire armor and trickets that give around 2600 armor power with mix of maurauder/commander 2200 to 2300 armor but when i play on coordinated guild raid wvw i run full support glamour with wanderer armor + dura runes and mix of minstrel/wanderer trickets and weapons i have up to 3200 armor and 27000k hp with food and util include moment sigil on sword
but some ppl are in pvp just to grind pips for ascended crap
do pvp need ascended gear ? and now u got lot of pvpers grind those pips for ascended as it dont feel competitive any more
well there is no balance good players cant carry bad players and not every one speak English i mean you start the match 1 close 4 mid then you see 2 close 1 far and 2 mid what do you expect … enemy treb , kill both beasts for 50 pts and so on but lot of ppl have no idea what they doing and ppl that have good idea suffer so take it as is cause anet wont do nothing about it unless u get a good team or team up with friends as i use to do with TS voice for coordination but now cant find any

well i played pvp a lot with more then2000 ranked and unranked games played went up gold then droped silver now i think im going to drop to bronze well im almost done with the S5 reward chests some gold some charges some ascended now i care less about that i just waiting to finish the full reward then stop and go back unranked to finish few champion titles now i laugh at ppl that get frustrated if they lose sry thats just the truth i have no team to coordinate with and climb so i felt it’s usless i just play get around 20 pips per day and go back to unranked

also advice dont get SLI / crossfire the microstuttering is like hell tested on desktop with 2 gtx 970 SLI
i have 2 MSI laptops GT72 with i7 4800 gtx980m and ge60 apache pro i7 4710 gtx 860m
never had issue with lag on both both been with me for over a year from wvw to pve bosses events that will have lot of ppl ie dragon stand as example but the fact that gtx980m have much higher fps my gtx860m drop to 20-25 fps on blobby fights on wvw gtx 980m 30-35 fps (wvw blobfest) anyway even having the good fps i think anet servers can not handel that much as a friend having a desktop with gtx titan z and i7 extreme edition water cooling and so on he get some lag as i do also but not in the extent of cant cast skills but delay of 2-3 sec
burn DH are so kitten annoying the amount of burn stacks……….. i don’t think any thief can stand that unless u keep moving and dodging i avoid them most of the time
i run shout trooper i still can manage condis very well i switch between LB and GS with staff LB work well vs ranged/casters GS work well vs most melee with the buff of GS and rune of intelligence Maul can do so much dmg vs glass thiefs and also the option of escaping GS swoop and staff ancestral grace when chased by groups/zergs i dont think most of the nerfs affected my build so much ,still the most annoying build with hard time to fight Medi/trap DH multi stealth thiefs
the best part is when u duel and get run over by a whole blob well i have few friends from other BL when we duel we go out of blobs/roamers way like all the way behind south camp in alpine BL far north west of EB there u can duel with no interruption
as shout druid never had issue can counter thiefs with GS better then LB the only issue when they feel they cant manage to kill me they run off hard to catch then also medi burn DH the ammount of burning pressure they cant stand

Main reason why people complain about ranger is because they used to be USELESS in all aspects of game for a period of time after Anet nerfed SB, quickness, spirits, pets and so on. They are also completely useless in zerg fight before the LB buff. Now they suddenly become a threat to unorganized group, people who usually treat ranger as a free bag and useless wet noodle suddenly have to deal with ranger, so they’re enraged and start complaining about ranger being OP, because they want ranger to be as useless as it once was.
i know the much hate i got as a ranger but i care less what other classes think
playing your build well power rangers wont be a problem as a trapper i got no problem killing them also playing Mesmer with good torment and confusion build u can deal great amount of dmg to power ranger so better stop hating and thinking of a counter to that.
let me say this playing trap ranger with longbow is fun i don’t use my LB much cause i have no problem killing thief and other classes with traps + torch but i love my LB for running away roamers like GS warrriors when they feel they loosing they run off and skill n4 point blank shot when some 1 is on the edge of a cliff bam down the cliff dead
