Absolutely agree with OP on this one. While I do appreciate the efforts they are putting in, it’s very stressful for people with a normal working life to try to completely all those achievement within the limited time frame.
Used all my karma with max buffs a week or two ago. I now have about 1.6 million karma that is going to waste. This is after I already spent millions on obsidian shards. lol
The change is fine. Simple fact is that boosting karma made it worthless and would have continued to do so in the long run.
been trying to complete this achievement for hours(multiple times), killed all the chickens(about 9), killed the boss, but no achievement, is this one bugged? On the last run I pretty much killed anything…..
Lol, you do know that this was the case when the game was first released right? And because of that elementalist had the worst downed skills out of any class till anet switched them.
I would like fire aura to do damage when someone hits you.
Remember, there is a trait that gives fire aura on signets, when paired with a focus, you can have almost permanent fire aura (giving away all other utilities in the process). This means it can’t be to strong.
I would also like Fire Aura to buff power or grant might for its duration. As is the other auras are much better, but then again there is only 1 cast-able source of those auras (at one time)
The problem with fireshield is it will NOT stack in duration, means if you happen to pop another signet while the first fireshield is still active, it will not increase it’s duration(The other non aura boons will still stack duration)
out of the 100 eles in wvw, you can probably find like 2-3 using scepter, lol.
Still don’t understand why they don’t allow elementalist to switch weapon in combat(you can’t really 1v1 with staff, and u can’t siege with d/d). If the 20 fresh new skills is their concern, then all they need to do is to make all weapon skills/attunement on full cd when switching weapons for eles.
bolt in my opinion has one of the best special effect in the game. Meteorlogicus while having a great skin, doesn’t hold a candle to bolt in the special effect department. (And I do like bolt’s skin)
It’s actually kind of weird that you don’t ask for more effects on Meteorlogicus(most ppl do), because your previous posts suggest that you do think Meteorlogicus is lacking effects. Meteorlogicus is the only legendary i have at the moment and yes, I do wish they can update it with more effects.
the key thing needed for fractal is projectile reflect/absorb. For that reason Guardian is the most desirable class because they can spam the 2 utilities they have.
Guardian/Mesmer/Thief/Ele all have their own reflect/absorb projectile skills, but can’t use them as often as a guard(and reflect is always more useful then absorb)
Thief/Mesmer has stealth, which is extreme helpful in the dredge level
a well traited team of 5 elementalists(using voice) can be very powerful in fractal, being able to keep reflect/absorb on the whole team for 100% up time(Magnetic Aura + Aura share with staff , or Swirling Winds with focus) But of course 5 guardian can always do the job easier
you don’t have to limit yourself to a weapon set for aura share, signet build works on all weapon sets(not good for staff because you need to be close to your team for aura sharing). Not great for WvW but works good for most of the dungeons.
signet build also works good with s/d build, the immobilize you get from earth signet allows you to land your dragon’s tooth on target.
Guardian’s staff #4, if traited(two-hand cd), has very low cd and can easily maintain might buff on a whole party while healing the whole party too……(for me it’s the best guardian weapon with auto aoe + heal + cc + swiftness + combofield + might buff all in one package)
dps is still the biggest issue with elementalists, all skills have HORRIBLE cd. The low base HP certainly doesn’t help either.
Elementalists are actually are one of the few good class to use against shaman in fotm because of focus air #4
If they do reduce the amount of materials required, your request for returned money would be totally unfounded. You would have paid the premium to have the equipment for longer than those who did not. What you are saying is tantamount to saying “I spent 2000 gems on the digital deluxe upgrade, but then they put it on sale for 1600 gems! I want my 400 gems back!” Sorry, but you don’t get them back.
Premium? what about those ppl who infused it couple days before the patch, that’s a huge amount of $$ just for a premium of few days lol
Also, 2000 gems is nothing comparing to the cost of 250 ectos(which is almost the equivalent of 5000 gems right now)
maybe it’s just me, but it feels like u were being flagged for a certain loot table when you started the dungeon.
What happened to me is like this:
If I’m getting crappy blue/green in the first fractal instance, then most likely that’s what I’m going to get for the rest of the run
If I happen to get an exotic (mob or chest drop) from the first instance, then my chance to get another exotic or rare in the following instances seems to go higher.
What happen to me was either i get all junks from a fractal run, or made out like a bandit with 2-4 exotics per run(that happens like 10% the time….)
There will still be supply for the next 2 weeks because those do drop from the giftboxes. the only reason u see the price jumping, is because toy frames are purchasable now. Which means people will need the materials to make the extra endless tonic.
Of course, that also means the price of the endless toy tonic will probably drop because there will be more people attempt to make them now with no more restriction on the frame side….
Same issue here, logged in tonight and notice I only have 18s left in my account, I was pretty sure I still had 1+ gold on my main this morning . Any help?
