Probably the most amazing strategic element I’ve seen in an MMO. Bury the kittening thing in clams so they can’t even click it. Makes me really happy.

Hey all! After completing the application process on the FIRE website (the Enjin is great by the way!) me and my husband were welcomed to the guild with open arms. We’ve been in the guild almost a month, and everyone seems like family. The wvw is amazing with our guild leader as commander, and others sometimes taking the tag and doing immensely well. As well as wvw, there’s a lot of other activities that go on in the guild. Guild missions, key farms, meetings and … a book club! To my delight. It is definitely a family friendly guild and I’d implore you to look at the website to find out more. Me and my husband were very lucky we found this guild. Thank you FIRE for being amazing!

I’ve been with FIRE for about a year and a half and I love it! Not so much for the WvW (although I really like that) but for the Christian fellowship and community. I almost left the game because of the rude and unwelcome comments and the lack genuine help in learning the game. The members of FIRE made a huge difference in all of that. It was the best thing to happen to me in the game.

I joined fire sometime last year.. but have largely been inactive due to real life stuff. In any case.. I’ve gotten some time and began playing again.. and the FIRE gang are a phenomenal group of people. Fun to play with.. great to chat with.. all around amazing people.. Fire is gamers.. Fire is friendship. It’s all about having fun and enjoying yourself.

If you are into WvW then there’s no question you want to be here. We encourage a family friendly environment based around solid Christian values..

Update: I’ve been getting more and more involved with FIRE and have developed a great fellowship and connection with my guildmates. I haven’t felt this connected to a guild since MANY MANY years ago when I played another MMO…

One of the things I’ve not had the pleasure of doing in GW2 so far is raiding. From past experience I will NOT PUG a raid.. just won’t.. and FIRE really wasn’t raiding sadly.. They had tried it back early in HoT but things didn’t work out.

So, getting that raiding fever again.. and wanting to get my legendary armor.. I’ve created a new initiative to begin raiding. The guild has responded well.. and I led a 9 man group into VG this past Saturday.. very OFF the CUFF. No optimized builds, traits, gear, etc.. just “LET’S DO THIS!!.” Many of the guildies have NEVER done VG or any other raid.. so it was new territory..

We took the 9 man group in.. and managed to get to Phase 3 before wiping. We did great I felt for a first time group going out!! But we are building up to create optimized teams, builds, and gear.. so the more we have.. the more teams will run.. the more will have access to Legendary Insights if you want to get Legendary Armor!

You should be searching for guilds and not server. Guilds determine the fight, server only determine activeness.

For Guardian, these looks like they could be fun and interesting.

However, if you’re going to let Guardian apply Quickness to the party, then I hope you are upping Mesmers’ ability to do reliable damage in PvE. Otherwise you could possibly be edging Mesmers completely out of the speedrun meta. Guardians already do more damage more reliably and have higher uptime on their reflects … not to mention heavy armor and no worries about AOE/cleave killing their phantasms (back to the reliable aspect of damage).

Transfering to a server which is below the server ranking you are on should always be free.

Well, SoR suffered 9 weeks of Season 2 when they clearly didn’t belonged there… Mag at least will only suffer for 4 weeks.

In T6; 5+ players makes a havoc squad, 10+ players is a guild group and 20+ is a map zerg. This makes it ideal for you to be able to find and fight groups of similar numbers without getting zerged (Though you might encounter an uplevel/karmatrainer blob of 40+ on occasion!).

SoR has reasonably good coverage with its primarily NA and very active die-hard non-NA crews, an organized and coordinated community (Weekly pre-reset meetings, TS, participation feature, etc.), integrated PvE/WvW events (Community Tequatl/guild missions followed by WvW) and a nice rotation of relatively unzergy opponents.

Finished our first week after tournament and I along with so many others here in SoR had an absolute blast. We came together as a community, worked great as a team, we had fantastic communication, and oh so many great fights with a healthy respect for ppt. This is what we have to offer in SoR, it doesnt matter if you are a guild or a solo player, you can always just jump right in and work together in a fantastic team environment focused on coordination and communication. Now that SoR are 100% EOTM only, it’s kinda irrelevant who has left or who is left.

Yeah last night I saw literally 30+ HIRE with around 15-20 Choo running in a big blob karma training some random EotM map. There were a lot of pugs with them, too, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they were all from SoR. It was literally the largest blob I’ve ever seen.

I feel horrible about the players that are left on SoR just wondering what the hell happened. Wish BG would stop buying so many guilds and even lose some to SoR. Maybe we could have some fun, even matchups again ’cause this sh*ts getting old.

We are letting BG and JQ fight over PPT. All of our guilds are happily fighting in EOTM.
