Fault.8735 gj & keep posting bugs . maybe after 3 month they will fix mesmer . i’m tired of playing class problems of whom being ignored
i’m just wonderin’ in this so called “patch” every class was a little tweaked a little.
we got castrated for unknown reason.
lets look closer for other classes core mechanic :
warrior – adrenaline ,works fine warriors can fight without it
guardian – virtues works , also can fight without them
thief – initiative , steals , hide a little buggy but works
ranger – pet is useless addition in wvw to 5th skill barrage (lol) & it works too fine in pve and even without a pet ranger can fight
engineer – bugged but works
elemental – constant patches with comments “now works as intended instead of overpowered before” & btw core mechanic works fine
necro – death shorud works . btw can live fine without it
and finally “The Great And Powerful We!” : core mechanic – illusions . traits that works dont stack & goes buggy -> useless. half utils are bugged . skils on every weapons have summons illusions -> so i can say they at least ineffective . we dont have choice and make a build without illusions .
so 3 month have passed since release + no bugs fixed and core mechanic is broken to hell + nerfs to “patch” …
so conclusion of my post : MAYBE BEFORE NERFING U NEED TO FIX US AT LEAST?

i can say u doin’ something wrong.
damage output is same like other classes so u can kill them
survivability is highest because half of damage is from illusions so u can concentrate on dodging\running , and let’s dont forget how much illusion distract enemy
it’s true that mesm is very bugged at this moment BUT with all those bugs it’s realy dreadful opponent , on small scale pvp (i think up to 5-6 ppl) mesm is really summons butthurt
so suggest u to read build thread & try some of them or invent another build , or change play style

heal is mantra
utils :

& u can use some thing u prefer , in my version is signet of illuision
elite : my choise is THE GREAT MOA MORPH
pve – arm+acc rampager set
WvW – i prefer arm+acc knight
sPvP – depend on mood & how much i’m drunk – knight or rampager

i use offhand sword & have “illusionists celerity” & while adding dueling trait #4 “blade training” cd of 4 & 5 skills doesn’t decrease
They both reduce the cooldown of phantasmal swordsman but the tooltip only updates for one (this is a universal tooltip problem when abilities have their cd reduced by more than one trait).
Illusionary Repost does not have its cooldown reduced by either one (whether it spawns a clone or not), even though the tooltip will say that it has been reduced.
Blade Training does not reduce the cooldown of Illusionary Leap, but Illusionist’s celerity does.
too much bugs for 1 trait >_<
btw how is this class even playable now ? it’s easier to tell what works properly then what is bugged
