Added – Oh also, everybody will feel like they are being 2v1 at some point within a week long match because it’s true. It’s depends on the situation, commander, PPT, overall score, future matches, pure hatred, etc.

One example:
- Server 2(S2) and server 3(S3) are 2v1ing server 1(S1) both see S1 as a threat.
- Hours and hours goes by, both S2 and S3 have been getting wiped repeatedly by S1.
- All of the sudden, S3 started attacking S2’s zerg/objects to boost morale.
- S2 retaliated.
- S1, at this point is sick of running around from East to West, defending their objectives from 2v1, saw the opportunity and took it.
- 10 minutes later, S3 (or S2) get 2v1 instead of S1.

So there. Unless you sit down with all commanders or communicate server-wide and make it known, solid week long 2v1 will never happen. Even with that, what if other 2 servers decided to 2v1 you? It’s situational. It’s a valid tactic, and it is intended.

No, you can still make it. Heck it’s probably will still be easier than getting a stack of silver doubloon to make Juggernaut. Yes, i’m still bitter.

What’s the big deal?? if you think it’s useless, don’t buy it. You don’t represent every gw2 player. What if I want to leveling an alt via crafting and have 0 crafting booster? As a commander on JQ that has avoided WvW until last week to brush up on game play, I am glad that BG came out to play. I have field respect for all the teams on BG for one main reason. When they run, it’s not every engagement, there is an actual reasoning why they have to run. BG will actually fight and tussle with you, this is regardless if they outnumber you, equal in numbers, or even lower in numbers. They give just about as many F’s as we do when it comes to the open field play. I hope this week shows an example to the other educating team leads as myself on JQ that the words I preached in regards to educating the masses that it is a maintain thing, not just an every so often thing

Thank you guys for making the game exciting for myself and my squad. We were scraping anything we could for fights the last few weeks, even running our own internal sPvP tournaments to get some good PvP in. Expect to see me out tonight on a random Bordlerland. My servermate took this screenshot minutes before week 1 leagues started, this was prior to ZD’s joining as well. Regardless, good job on the win, but to state BG wasn’t already stacked couldn’t be further from the truth,

I don’t know why this has to be said again, but that full status lasted all of an hour from what I saw, and we haven’t been listed as full since. For all we know it was a system glitch. Assuming it wasn’t however, BG has always had a very large PvE population. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, more potential players in WvW does not equal more players in WvW.

You’re not even in this match so you really have no idea how the numbers are matching up. I do, and there are many facets to what is going on and how weaknesses are being covered and advantages being exploited (regarding BG). Last night during SEA was the tipping point in my eyes. Matches like this where two servers are giving it everything they got, it often boils down to which server’s militia breaks first and who can get the enemy commanders to become less enthused about the situation first.

Actually it’s the 5th time. Also 7 times for the “week 7” thing.
As a bonus, “ZDs rage quiting” takes the win with 11 times!!

I finally decided to go for Juggernaut but after seeing how much gold I need, it probably won’t ever happen. I can deal with 530g for The Colossus but another 500g for Silver Doubloons is just not going to happen.

I been playing since early access, have 4-lv80 and have a grand total of 6 Silver Doubloons to show. No, I have never camped JP chest because I didn’t think you HAVE to do that to get have a chance to obtain Silver Doubloon but now I know I’m completely wrong.

I will need to buy another slot to have lv25 alt, and run it to JP chest and leave it there for how ever long to take for me to get 244 Silver Doubloons OR I can spend all my play time and farm 500g to buy all 250 Silver Doubloons. I’m willing to bet that by the time I have 500g, it will not be 2g a piece anymore.

I understand free market, supply and demand, and all the good stuff. I have no problem with it whatsoever but give us other means to obtain this mats. Let us craft it or something.

And no sorry I’m not leaving Rall and I’m also not giving up, I play gw2 for wvw only I don’t do dungeons, I don’t do most of the new content because it’s fluff, I champ farm when waiting in queue. When bg rolled the score over us this week I was still in there havok squading flipping camps and sentries and running with the shrunken zerg. I transferred from sos to sor in order to get on a server with more people for more options to do wvw.

Yeah I am a pug not part of a main guild, but I do a lot of what is asked of any other players, I’m on TS, I do supply runs to help repair bases and build siege, I tap siege when needed the pugs get blamed for them disappearing even though the people who dropped it don’t bother to do it themselves or remind others, I run ruins for the bloodlust buff, I’ve solo capped supply camps and sentry points even in places not convenient to be in, I report enemy movements even when I lashed back “we already know” for doing so, I don’t take supply from bases unless it’s near cap or upgrades are done especially smc, you drop a ram I’m running to build it and then let a better operator use it, I don’t attack the door when asked, I stack when asked for an ambush or supply checkittenep up with the zerg formation, I eat my food and oils, I have the correct gear and specced for survival on a necro in zerg battles, I plague to help save the melee train, I plague to help commanders escape while I sacrifice myself, did I miss anything? well etc etc etc

Would just like my server to play as a team again, not as a bunch of groups out for personal glory.

Even if you are not “part of a main guild”. You are very valuable in my book. SoR is very lucky to have you.

SUPR are a highly coordinated group of talented individuals. They were part of many guilds that have helped make BeastGate what it is today. If you are on SBI, join SUPR, you will not be disappointed.

What’s there to discuss? A few months back there was a commander on Blackgate with an Anet tag that purposely lost us Stonemist on a reset night, declared ‘my work here is done’ and promptly logged out. One person with that symbol does not reflect how the company as a whole operates.

So far all i managed to work out is:

MERC have left BG because JQ can now challenge them as well.. due to this JQ are no longer BG pets that do everything to help them win thus BG cant actually win even with their previous stacking.
With this in mind MERC dont want to actually fight hard to try get a victory and thus jumping on the JQ band wagon in order to try attain victory.

First of all, MERC was not the Beast in Beast Gate, MERC was part of the Beast in Beast Gate. One guild can not single-handedly takes a server to the top of T1.

I understand and I can see you have good intention.

Don’t take my opinion as flaming or trolling but these type of threads never goes any where mainly because as long as players are free to join NA or EU servers as they’re please,there is really no off peak hour. Your off peak hour is prime time some where else, and Anet should continue to encourage that choice to keep WvWvW running the way as it was intended.

In addition, most ideas are based around PPT. It’s not healthy for WvW. I’m not saying it’s not important or it’s not a main objective but for some (or a lot), it is not. It’s the feeling you get when you run out of your spawn to kick some other server’s kitten any time of day, whether it’s solo, part of small havoc, or in zerg WHILE assisting in gaining overall.

For me, WvWvW’s charisma comes from it’s equivalents to War. You fight to conquer, you defend to survive. You do whatever it takes(within Rules of Conduct, of course) anytime of the day, to win a fight for your group, your guild, or for your server.

Imagine Anet implement such thing as “time out” or “you get 1/3 of this or 2/3 of that if you want to come out and fight around this time of day”. Anet might as well tell the rest of the World or even NA that can only plays late night or early morning to screw themselves and only allow WvW from 9-10PM.

If that happens, Anet will lose a lot of people, if not most. Then there won’t be night capping, day capping, or any capping at all.
