I have been gone from the game for several months (almost a year). So, I’m a little behind on a few things. I have been reading through the forums and keep running into two things I don’t really understand. The first is what is LI? What does it do? The other, I keep seeing post about dps meters. I know what it is, I just don’t know where to get one or if it is even necessary.

Is there a list anywhere of all the crafting recipes? I can’t find one on the wiki and the various websites that I have went to seems to only have partial lists.

So no other opinions about this?

With the fact that Legendaries will be getting the stat boost plus the Offensive Infusion slot only, made me wonder if the other weapons will have the same Offensive Infusion only. That is the way you can have two Trinkets with the same Stats, because of the different Infusion Slots. So, if they actually name all of the Ascended Weapons like they have done the Ascended Trinkets, will you be able to dual wield the same sword?

We all know that you can not have the same two Ascended Trinkets equipped at the same time, but what about Ascended Weapons? Will a Warrior be able to dual wield the same stat Ascended Sword? Or will we have to re-work our builds to accommodate two different stats for our swords? Thanks in advance for any responses.

You can turn off player names in the options menu. When you first open the menu its on that screen under User Interface. The 5th option down. Hope this helps.

I am using the Errol armor on my sylvari female thief, it is one of the level 80 named sets and i think there is a cheaper version of it

And for me at least it also does not update the balloon achievement either.

I was in Cursed Shore yesterday (just got there in fact) and helped kill 4 champs and did not receive any loot for killing it but still received gold in the event.

I have this bug as well I just dont know how to report anything in game though

I can answer the question about when you can start PvP…..as soon as your introductory story quest is over you can go to PvP. As for anything else PvP, I dont know anything about it.

Yes, you can use transmute stones to move your gem armor to what every armor you are currently needing.

Does anyone know of a build calculator that has the new celestial stats in it?

Actually I have wondered about this a lot myself. Maybe we are just not getting what WvW is all about, but I thought we were supposed to keep what we captured.

Thanks for all the feed back. I think I will try the necro first and if I don’t like it I can always go for the Ele later.

After I had made the post and thought about I realized I had left some stuff out lol.

@ Insane: For now, mainly it will be with a Zerg. Eventually I would like to get people in my guild interested in WvW so we can make some small teams to go out and flip camps etc. I prefer ranged and both the Ele and Necro would mainly be using staff. I found out a long time ago I’m better at a distance than in melee range of anyone. I have both a Necro and an Ele to level 41 right now in PvE and I love playing both of them. I just don’t know which one would be more beneficial in WvW. With the Ele I know I can gve boons and such, but then with the Necro I can try to do some crowd control. And that is why I’m wondering what everyone’s opinion on the two are.

@ Homonavn: Just curious as to what kind of build you run? Condition damage? Do you use minions? Or is it more Zerker? My Necro currently is going for a condition build.

Hi, I’m not sure if this is where this should be or not but here goes. I am wanting to make a new character strictly for WvW. It will either be a staff Ele or a Necro. What are the pros and cons of using either of these in WvW? Thank you in advance for any information. Have a great day/night.

Hi, I’m looking for a social, friendly guild. I would prefer a PvE guild that does dungeon runs. WvW is a bonus. Not really interested in PvP. LGBTQ friendly is a must. I would rep the guild 99.9% of the time but I do have my own personal guild for bank purposes only. My bf also plays but he is only on very rarely so if he is on I will be in my personal guild because he is the only other person in it. I would prefer a US based guild since I am in the central time zone. Medium sized guild is a plus.
Now about me. I have one level 80 character (sylvari Ranger name Phoenyx Song). I love to help people. I transferred to SoS a little over a month ago to play with friends easier but then life got in the way and I have been playing alone for a while now. I haven’t done any WvW but I am interested in it. Especially if I am ever gonna get a legendary lol. Now for the big secret…..I am an Alt-o-Holic. I am currently working on the 7 other professions and plan on eventually trying to have every profession for every race. I have tried PvP and it’s just not my cup of tea. I’m wondering what the cap is on character slots? I’m a major alt-o-holic and I would eventually like to have every profession for every race. But, I cannot find anywhere if there is a character slot cap. Thank you for your replies.

So, here is the deal, I am trying to find a LGBTQ guild for me and my partner. I play everyday, he plays once a week sometimes longer between times. So, I would really like a guild that won’t kick him out for being inactive. I’m good at PVE, so I’m looking to expand into PvP and WvWvW. For now, until I find the right fit for us, I will guest to your server and run with your guild. Then, if your guild is a fit, we will both transfer servers. I have two level 80s in exotics, and 8 other characters I’m slowly but surely leveling. He has one level 80 and a couple of other characters. Now that that is out of the way. I’m very friendly, I help everybody that I can help. I can use any of the free Voips, but only to listen. Don’t have a mic. I love jumping puzzles. I have done a few dungeons, but want to do more. I completely agree with this. Maybe you could post your suggestion in the Suggestions forum to see if the devs take a look at it.

I got two just as well. I just don’t remember what it was that I was finishing on mine. I do remember how ever that what ever the last one was that I finished was not one of the ones I had check marked for my daily.
