Seems most PvP games are slaughters in one direction or the other which isn’t fun on either side and somewhat strange if league placement reflects player skill. Close is ideal—keeps everyone engaged and the wins are sweeter. Would be nice not to have teams suffer when someone is trying a new class (maybe class-based league rankings). Is just pip total comparison sufficient for team pairing and for quick league stratification? Would like to see emphasis on forcing players to balance offense/defense/support options for their class actively; dump passive skill effects. Would like to see duplicate classes disallowed on a team which necessarily eliminates switching once teams are in-game (otherwise go pre-made). Could also narrow pip spread (15 to 10) for teaming to get more even fights especially as season progresses—will always be chaotic at season start. Each team ought to have a shot at winning each game they enter—don’t need an algorithm to assist in racking up losses.

First time to see the 5:11:3:159:101 error is now. Logged out and back in with same character, same issue. Trying to run Arcana Obscura with thief—no previous issues with Arcana with 5 other characters.

Story Line for Solo Players

Been dragging multiple characters through Point of No Return. Mystery Cave is just frustrating mechanics as are some of the living story achievements. There are others, but this one is currently on my mind. Please consider that some PvE enjoyment comes from being able to complete a story line solo without constant downing and in a reasonable amount of time. The line between challenging and frustrating seems to be crossed more often than in the basic game story lines. I go to PvP if I want a challenge (and rightfully so), but there’s a place in gaming for a more leisurely pace as a form of relaxation. Overall great game, but concerned that HoT will follow the Living Story trend and drain much of the enjoyment of getting through a story line as a solo player.

Bank Item Stacking Bug

Since updates the week of 16 Mar 2015 noticed Mystic Forge stones, Bandit Keys, and Self-Style Hair Kits don’t stack in bank tabs with similar items that existed in bank prior to updates. Crafting Boosts and WatchWork Sprockets stack fine.

If you’re a more casual player please check us out. Active and experienced players looking for a home are always welcome too. Love to help new players orient to the game and maybe grow you into a more active player. No requirements other than to keep the guild chat channel “clean”. We always prefer folks represent us with their characters to earn guild influence for improvements, but other than being nasty to other members we don’t kick folks out. As our members become more active and experienced we hope to get into guild missions to open up other gaming opportunities.

We’re a Dragonbrand server guild, but have members from other servers. Members seem to gravitate to solo PvE, but some do WvW and PvP. We’re not very chatty, but when that occurs English is used.

Our guild is casual—laid-back to the point of being a loose conglomeration rather than a guild, but as folks gain experience and desire to interact that could change.

Starter Armor as Permanent Skins

Suggestion was made to me by a guild member that it would be nice to have starter armor as a permanently available skin as the Radiant skins are. Specific issue is the thief hood available as a starter isn’t matched by an advanced helm, but having that skin available would allow transmutes.

Area Completion Symbol

Suggest putting the new icon that indicates area completion on the global map for an area name rather than on the area entry screen. If one is already entering the area the notice is a bit late and having that information on the global map would allow targeted travel.

Waypoint Fees

Would like to see significant reduction in waypoint fees: 1) upon death it’s a double penalty—armor repair and having to travel to waypoint—also discourages investigating/learning harder areas (i.e. dungeons) and 2) hinders warping to help players in easier areas if you can’t recoup the cost of the transfer. If this isn’t generally do-able for some reason, then maybe compromise by reduction/elimination upon area completion.
