SoS aren’t obsessed with ppt, after 30 mins running with All we were wiping 2 guild groups at a time, within 5 mins of tagging up last night I took BG’s t2 bay and got about 100-200 lootbags the entire night I died maybe 3 times.

The game engine has no collision detection, that’s why we can all merge into 1 spot. Other rvr games like the 2008 Warhammer online had it.

But guys, that’s the thing.
Why should players be able to stand 50 people “inside” each other? why cant they disable this for WvW. after all, it forces you to tab target into stead of relying movements and positioning right?
And if people cant run through each other, you cant have 50 people right by the commander. So create force field, in which everyone in the field gets any buff and passive bonus as long as they are in the field.
I know that this is the wvw forum, but this post is about a player who only ever played wvw and was known to the guys in this forum. He liked to troll in here and wrote the most hilarious things. So dear moderator, don’t delete or move this post because it belongs here and a lot of the posters on this part of the forums might want to know this.
It’s with sadness that I now tell you that this morning, Starscream/Unicron, a good friend and guild mate of mine for over a year and a half was found dead. He hung himself for reasons known only to himself. He was a very funny guy and he always made everyone laugh. He was totally crazy and out there, and we loved him for it.
I’ve been sitting many late nights just talking kitten and laughing with him on our TS and it feels so surreal to find out that a person you talked to almost daily and who could make you laugh no matter the mood you were in don’t exist no more.
Rest in peace brother, we will all miss you so very much.
Man, why is it that near the end of every matchup we have complete BS making our tier look like drama queens? SoS does their part, get off of Chaster’s peen. Sorry to see Envy go, they were one of the few guilds on FC that I respected for their skill, I hope EBay treats you guys well! Kaineng we got ahead during the weekend and sustained it, let’s do it again next week!
Chaster is right though, Kaineng has been ultimately defined by the smaller guilds, we don’t strive for forum recognition, we just do our part in Wv3 and people will recognize us, even if they don’t we don’t care, I am just proud to be a part of Kaineng’s second win of all time.

There are times when the messenger upstages the message. Today, you are message. The rest is noise. Your @<victims> forum pvp is tl;dr.
Those close to you will read past the insult. Those in opposition don’t care. But to the huge middle, the undecided, the unwashed masses that don’t typically engage in forum pvp… you wickedly cackled, “I’ll get you, my pretty, and your little dog, too!”
A good leader chooses words wisely. A good leader knows that every word ascribed to him/her is part of his/her brand.
A person’s true character will always find ways of revealing itself.
How a person chooses to argue with people on his team, the wordy-weapons selected, the timing and choice of venue says more about a leader than the substance of the argument!

Hats off to all those in SoS BL last night. Thanks JQ for breaching garrison so we can have a tower to siege from, that helped our insta queue last night
The 3 way fight for Garrison was awesome, that SoS counter on our Bay pulled it in for JQ to get the Garrison, good work on pulling us off!
I echo these thoughts… I saw the battle from the JQ perspective. It was a very interesting 3-way tango that used the entire dance floor. On more than one occasion, I saw all three server tags on my screen in a wash of aoe suppression and support.
I was in that too it was tons of fun. Props to SoS for some lords room defense first time we broke in the doorway was literally all red with arrow carts and siege and aoe and all that fun stuff. Nicely done we finally did get it but after a lot of hard work and lots of deaths on my end at least lol.
We were like, “yeah, just wait and let JQ do all the work, we can def swoop in and steal it!” That uhh….didn’t work out as planned
Raven you really need to let it go, want to know why nobody appreciates and respects Blackgate? It’s because of crap like that, get over it.
Good to see Sea of Sorrows grow since I transferred off (Stupid old crappy NA coverage, then the week I transfer off you guys get all kinds of NA guilds)

The fact that it is an individual cost/commitment for a server-wide benefit… that what makes it unfair.
The entire server PvE/sPvP/WvW should be contributing to a pool of upgrade resources that can then be drawn upon for upgrades. This pool should have both a spring fed source as well as both a participatory source based upon event completion and contributory source based upon sacrifice or donation.
The server pool should be visible for everyone and there should be no individual shame or personal consequence for spending the resources in WvW where they are purposeful and meaningful.
This is not rocket surgery.

1) Charge $25.00 for each transfer.
2) After a server transfer, you can not enter World PVP for 2 weeks.
3) You cannot transfer servers again until after a month.
4) If they don’t like it, then tough luck. Read instructions better. It’s been over two months, and people have had plenty of time to choose a server freely.
I’m losing intrest in W/PVP. I’m not the only one.
Ending free server transfers would fix this almost instantly

With no easy way to transfer servers… bad players will be forced to deal with their consequences on a social and game play level. It will still exist, but not as much. And at least ANET will get some money out of it.
ANET can easily make it so you can not place siege items on treasure chests; or clickable player objectives. So it needs to be done. I once seen a team of players place multiple siege on top of a treasure chest, thinking they were protecting it. The problem was, no one could even click or interact with the treasure chest because it would interact with the multiple empty siege instead. I finally had to tell them to hold down the (ALT) key to highlight all the items, then carefully cycle through the items till the chest was selected. It was a touch of frustration that shouldn’t exist.
I think the OP is referring specificaly to Rams and not Siege equipment. He specifically points to the fact that people building rams in the EB jump puzzle is simpley done to waste supplies. Short of building a gauntlet of fire to run through, I see no value in rams in the EB jump puzzle myself.
The rest should remain as is.
Background: The Overgrown Grub is a champion mob that resides to the northeast of Blue Valley Keep on the Eternal Battlegrounds. The dynamic event in which you slay it yields a high amount of experience and karma based on character level, and completion of the event also yields a chest that contains a few Badges of Honor and a chance for a siege blueprint.
Problem: I understand that the goal of the WvW maps is to create an opportunity for everyone to participate on fun dynamic events. Unfortunately, the fact that the mob exists in this area causes a problem. It drives away people from doing WvW objectives specifically from the Blue side.
Often you’ll see territory under attack, but a good number of players are occupied with the event to otherwise go help their team defend. It’s also difficult to rally players because people are afraid the event will reset and their efforts wasted.
This is actually bad enough on our server that there are a few players who purchased commander titles for the sole purpose of drawing away people from PvP objectives just to clear the grub, then run everyone to the jumping puzzle. They literally sit there and spam “Grub is up, rally here” in chat until people do it. This has happened almost every day, to the point where many of us are fed up with constantly trying to get people to help defend towers instead of going there to help. It’s also not particularly helpful when these players happen to be the only commanders on the map.
I don’t mind having PvE objectives in WvW, but the fact that the spawn point is so in-your-face for the blue side creates numerous problems in team chat and to the server’s efforts. This doesn’t happen to the green side, and the Aboreal Spirit by Speldans is far enough that people aren’t compelled to do it.
I urge you, ArenaNet. Move the Grub elsewhere. Somewhere where it can be contested over by other servers so it’s not just one side’s problem. For example, the land area on the south side of Stonemist would be great.

You should simply unite the EU / NA ladder = 24/7 battles for all.
Servertransfers to 2000 Gems and put a barrier of “Match time * 2”.

so you can play server independent like districts in GW1.
Or, if its really a concern about ping issues,
dont make it possible that players from NA can play on EU servers ( vise versa).
I have brought this up before and I’m bringing it up again.
The EU/US distinction needs to be removed. Since the data centers are the same, the separation at the moment only leads to more imbalance then their needs to be. Remove the name, and then guilds will more freely distribute themselves out to the servers for WvW and allow for more servers to have balanced coverage.
Separating the lists was a bad decision, and it’s time it was corrected. If you want a 24/7 global game, then you need to set your game up as a global game.
