While I like the wallet for having all the tokens at the same place, I don’t like how we can’t store gold at the bank anymore. It’s not cool to have all my gold on my characters, I’m really afraid I might accidently spend it all by a misclick (which is why I usually had only 20 silver at hand and anything more went to my bank).
As to those who would reply suggesting me to create a storage guild, I can’t. The game doesn’t let me do that, possibly because I already have a guild that I have created and which has around 100 members. Not gonna store my gold there.

I really hope Anet will allow us to deposit gold into the bank again otherwise I’ll be in constant fear of losing my money due to an accident

Mystic forge recipes containing fractal relics as ingredients are now broken.

Any word on this? This very question was brought up over a week ago in this thread and politely blown off.

I think the MF vendor is supposed to trade you for them now.

If you are leader of the guild, just remove treasure trove permissions from everyone else, and you can use that part of the bank safely for yourself

You know, I might just do that but not happily (this isn’t how it should go). Gonna consult with the other admins first though since we use both tabs… This is by far not a good solution…

Meh I can’t do that because all the guild bank tabs are used. I won’t empty the guild bank just so I can store my gold in it. Anet better thinks of a solution soon.

You can also use the TP by placing buy orders. As in, place a 500 gold buy order for twilight or sunrise or something nobody would ever sell for 500 gold. then when you want the money, remove the by order. It should suffice to help protect your gold from yourself

i also love the wallet, but like others, wish we could still deposit money in the bank.

I’ve logged onto 3 alts so far and I had to make this third one an alt I KNOW doesn’t have a lot of Karma. Yep. Not tabulating a complete total. Hmm… First alt had PvP tokens in his bag. WT*? Wasn’t this conversion supposed to be automatic? Is it in the game now, or are we still waiting for it? Do I have to cycle through all 7 of my alts before I get a correct tally on them all?

Ok, beside the fact that you were apparently a bit early, yes, you do have to cycle through all your alts…

I thought I’d maybe have 250K karma total after I’d cycled through all my characters (I had no further use for karma on my main so I got those Orrian boxes on her…), but after cycling, I found out I actually had 440K! Not bad, I’d say, considering I’ve only been to Orr on one character (not counting my necro who can now get his new shiny armour and is waiting in Orr for me to be home and temples to be open) and the rest has hardly more than 20% world completion

Only one complaint about the wallet (and it’s not even about the wallet really)… the lack of being able to put gold into the bank. This really helped keep me from spending too much gold. Please put it back in. Thanks ^^

I am not a fan of the grid layout (I really don’t see a reason to depict currencies as a matrix instead of a list, as the currencies don’t have anything to do with their upper, lower, left or right neighbour). This grid layout also limits ANet and effectively prohibits them from adding and other currency (see also: Pristine Fractal Relics).

Please add event-based currencies. (They are not “temporary” if you get to keep and use them after the event!)

I would also like to add that the reason I got excited about storing all my currencies is because the release page announced it as such:

Talking about the layout, I’m missing one thing. I want to be able to check which currencies I show on my inventory screen. Before this update, you saw your gems, your karma, your laurels and your gold. Now you only have your gems and your gold. I want to see the amount of laurels and karma as well..

The latest update is one of the best and the wallet system is very very usefull. Thanks A-net.

I do crafting of Colossus Fang (Amulet), which require 200 Ac tokens.

At the moment. I can’t access my tokens in my jewel crafting.

Has this been overlooked or the feature to take tokens out for crafting to so well hidden we cannot find it ?

One thing a lot of people are forgetting is guild banks aren’t restore-able. As in, god forbid, if you get hacked and that gold in that guild bank disappears, an account restoration will NOT restore it. So guild bank is a very insecure way to store your gold..

Yeah I wonder that too. I’m actually getting close to needing those recipes as well. Pretty sure it was an oversight.

It will most likely not be possible due to technical issues.

I was looking at the new hammers and I dont know wth happens instead of hitting back, I hit buy and now I’m 175g in the hole.

Would be a nice feature in the trading post. Who knows maybe that is on the list of things to be updated. It won’t change now however it takes too much time to develop UI stuff. That is just the nature of things.

So if you need to have a bankspace to protect yourself from – well – yourself, you have to use the “individual guild” route.

It takes 6g and 4 days to make the first 50-slot guild bank. Go do that if you’re scared of yourself.

But what about those who can’t create a new guild for personal storage??? I surely won’t deposit my gold as an offer on the TP.

To be honest, the fractal relic overlook really shows me how much brain power anet has combined.

Really, i’m not usually a whiner or complainer. The last update I had issues with was the Lost shores karka event and they screwed that one up big time.

These 2 weeks updates are getting ridiculous.

Bring it back to 1 month or 2 months for that matter and test these updates longer

Offering can not be put in mystic forge, just attempted it.

With regards to dungeon tokens and crafting: You can buy Offerings from the vendors that sell you the dungeon armors and then use them in the crafting recipes.

No, didn’t help. I need Ac Tokens for Jewel Crafting. Took me more than 5 months before I get a dungeon recipe drop (by that time it’s already useless and over powered by Ascended).

Now what you are saying, is I buy Ac armor and dump it in Mystic Forge and it will spit out the Ac Token for me ?

I don’t fancy Mystic Toilet on its RNG. I only use the Mystic Toilet for fix formula items. If I want to gamble, I would go to the casino or an evening of poker with friends.

Indirectly promoting gambling is certainly not a good way for a game that is accessible by all ages.

How can anet overlook this feature ???

If they can’t have a bank where we can store gold and account wide gold, then this gold part of the wallet should be reverted to the old non-account wide version. There are just too many things that can go wrong with it all being available like this (misclicks etc.).

I like the overall Idea behind the wallet; although the gold being lumped on to account wide sucks. I used to have my top 4 chars earn there own gold and buy the materials from MY personal vault this then kept a fund going for my alts this is changed now and I hate it; Thanks ANET.

The mystic toilet and the fractal relics I do hope we are able to transfer the fractal relics into the required dust, otherwise this is unfair and makes the relics next to useless. The crystalline dust is already hard to come by and the conversion rate from ectos to dust is pants.

Hope for a fix on this soon. Also while im on the topic of the wallet all the dungeon token icons are heavily pixalated, I’ve tried to change the in-game U.I from normal to small,large etc and it still doesn’t help I’m only running on a 22inch monitor, the overall lay out is horrid as well makes it look like a 5 year old designed it why do we need a grid patteren? You did a nice job of the U.I panel for the achievements, and compared to that the wallet is horrid to look at.

Sorry for all the negative comments but I felt it had to be known it doesn’t look good.

Is it me or is it much harder/worse now since it’s so much easier to get relics than that ?
Or maybe is it a temporary addition while adding a replacement item at the NPC ?

If you stop repping your guild an option to make a new guild appears on the bottom of the guild panel. You can make the storage guild then rep your main guild again.

Yes, thank you very much. I appreciate that Anet is trying always to better things. People who bitterly complain about this or that change or event always seem to be ignoring the flexibility and openness of Anet to different approaches. I, too, have my year-long complaints (gads, the leashing in this game is maddening as implemented), but this game is far from stagnant and I really appreciate the work being done on our behalf.

Is this a permanent change, or only until you can make a Fractal Thingamabob to replace the relics in the forge?

Edit: Wait, what does this even affect? Glob/Shard/Vial transmutation, nothing else? If so, not a big deal at all

I’ve tried to infuse my Fractal capacitor with the regular recipe, but now replacing the relics with piles of crystalline dust. It did not work though; I ticked the gift, fractal capacitor and the shard mist essence into the Mystic forge and it did not sugest the piles of crystalline dust I also had in my inventory. When I did tick them in as well I could not craft it. Is this being looked into?

Gift, Capacitor, Shard, Ectoplasm would be the correct recipe (or glob if just the infusion)
