When they said instanced on that stream they meant the objects are only affected on the local client. So if another player does the event at the same time they do not burn the same vines as you. Its like gathering nodes. If someone else mines a node you can still mine it yourself. Its localised and not server side. “Instanced to you”. Its not really the correct term. But thats what they meant.

I had thought they said that “everyone gets their own” when they were going through it, but then said that some would be instanced later (or earlier) in the stream.

Dub please tell me how you did that, I need something new to do in GW2 dungeons and fighting 3 or 2 bosses at the same time is definitely appealing

Question for yall. I’m going to be making another ascended backpiece for the skin, as I already have… well several berserker ascended backpieces, is there another Stat combo you find even slightly useful? Mainly talking fractals. i know berserker is king, but as I already have so many, I’m really looking to make some use out of this thing outside of the skin. Any ideas?

there’s a time and a place for a phalanx warrior. ascalonian catacombs is not one of them.

Only way to do AC properly is to have 5 staff eles and nuke everything before they even get a chance to spawn.

there’s a time and a place for a phalanx warrior. ascalonian catacombs is not one of them.

That time and place is when you’re in a pug that doesn’t otherwise stack Might, AC is no exception. The point I’m making (and got him to expose) is he’s unwilling to be a team player. Granted he was playing with bads, but I don’t think it’s a long shot to assume he does the same with any pug.

Pugs are pugs. Expecting them to play like you want is pretty phiw.

I had a dream last night about a mesmer boss in a large room with stairs in the middle leading down to a locked exit. Periodically, swords would shoot out of the bottoms of pillars spaced evenly throughout the room (all at once), so nowhere was safe except down the stairs. She had an attack, however, which would summon 3-5 big molten ball-thingies which would roll in place (ticking high damage) at her location for a few seconds, then shoot off in a fan, doing huge damage to anyone that got hit beside a wall or in an enclosed space, like, say, a staircase. She would occasionally teleport around the room, forcing players to fight her in different locations. She also summons clones and tries to shatter them on a player.

Anyway, I think I’ve been playing too much GW2… or perhaps too little…

Reading through the dev tracker, Gaile seems feistier than normal.

That time and place is when you’re in a pug that doesn’t otherwise stack Might, AC is no exception. The point I’m making (and got him to expose) is he’s unwilling to be a team player. Granted he was playing with bads, but I don’t think it’s a long shot to assume he does the same with any pug.

agree to disagree then, i don’t find it worth buffing people with terrible builds that don’t understand their class or the mechanics of a dungeon when i could ensure that it gets done smoothly by optimizing my own output, and in the case of a warrior that would be either 65003 or 66002 with banners.

however i don’t really see the point in taking a warrior in AC to begin with… banners are kind of wasteful there when you can just take another ele with a staff/ice bow.

Everything above 2 players in ac is a “waste” anyway.

Lindbur and I are the best duo partner NA. In p3 of arah I believe we wiped 8 times on crusher and hunter, 0 times on the next guy, once on Lupi and once while doing the ritual. And we also failed a lot doing the orbs as well.

The reddit community is okay. Lots of downvoting going on but the comments are generally okay. They’re also for the most part noob friendly, so I’m sure they’d like to see a helping hand post like that. This said, depending on the group of commenters, they can sometimes get “anti zerker/meta” or “zealous zerker meta” similar to the forums. So unless you have any requirements regarding builds I’d leave that out to avoid the subject altogether.

I’m not a reddit expert though, so take this with a grain of salt.

I dont mind which stats people bring. I would like it if they would be ok to change atlest one skill on there bar that would make me happy. Something like putting on a wall of reflect, smoke screen u’know stuff like that is what Ill ask for

It’s definitely worth posting there. Both of my educational Arah tours were posted there, and both were well-received. Just be aware of when you post (IMO shoot for ~Noon US Eastern time), so that a few possible early downvotes don’t lead to a buried topic.

The gw2 reddit is just a short form or “redardit” (kittened).
