give me legendaries for completing level 1 fractals and i still won’t bother playing, the game needs more content, not more rewards.

let’s just see if HoT can deliver.

Yeah J Eberle, it’s not as much as being bad as it is the attitude to me. People mouthing off to you for no reason other than for the sake of complaining are the worst.

Another example of a terrible kind of pug is this warrior that I had in an Arah p1 pug the other night who whined like an infant when I said I refused to let our guard 1shot Lupi. He was going off about how he cares about nothing other than the speed that the dungeon is completed and how he doesn’t care to waste time, despite the fact that he was waiting at the waypoint and typing instead of joining us. I told him that technically it’s not faster to 1shot him, but he was still whining.

In the end I kicked him when he eventually accused me of milking donations from people to compensate the apparent lack of speed in my runs due to never 1shotting him? Dumbest insult tbh and apparently he knew who I was based off of that comment.

Well to be honest.. how is it not faster to one shot Lupi rather than the regular way? It might not be a respectable way to kill Lupi but I dont think you can take the criteria of speed away from that tactic.

Its faster in a pug. But it slows you down in a proper organised group.

An organized group would just go in and nuke lupi down before you even push lupi to the wall usually.

My normal go-to group can’t even function properly in pugs because neither knows how to push Lupi to the wall << so depressed >>

Also if pugs really are concerned about how long it’s taking they may as well just go 2012-mode and skip him if they’re too terrible to kill him in the first place. It’s faster anyways.

The excuse they always give is that it’s faster, but that’s obviously just a sugarcoated way of saying they can’t do it otherwise :x

I don’t know why, but I’ve got a feeling we will get no dungeons and fractals with HoT, instead their challenging group content will be tower defense like game inside GW2. I don’t know why, but after seeing pacman and dota in GW2, I feel like the next logical step is TD-like gamemode.

To be honest, at times I feel so bored that if I could, trust me, I would skip all the possible bosses in Arah just to get the gold and be done with it.

Tbh most of the time I have more fun chain blasting stealth and skipping stuff than fighting lol :P

I was AFK Belka with my engis turrets… Do you know wether turrets can.be used in old tom like eles earth elemental?

Thumper turret only has 11.9k hp so it won’t last too long.

Yes. I saw it on the wiki. Can’t find its armor. Damage reduction trait* is minus 33% and self repairing is 5%… Idk, should be immune to venom, so it may work. So far I haven’t find the health and armor of Earth elementals…

Is too much to ask if you can try it? I can’t play my engi at this moment. I salvaged his armor to sell ranger runes, and I need a month till I get ascended armor to test it.

*I always pug. In an organized group that makes no sense, but in a pug it may be interesting to know.

Idk if it is interesting or not. But I just came form pvp hall. The only turret that is able to gain the npc warrior aggro is thumper turret.

It does work, although youll need to cycle your healing turret too. Dont forget supply also gives you turrets! In terms of postioning, if you have them too close to tom, they will drop so quick its not funny.

You can keep 6/6/0/2/0 and still do a lvl50. You cant melee, ( um something like 400? Range you need the turrets to be ) and the turrets will protect you for about 90% of a old style PuG group tom fight ( um two fans needed of time frame is what Im trying to say ).

Healing turret, flamethrower, rifle turret, nades and supply is what I bring to tom.

My number 1 button must be broken. Im not getting those results.

After days of family gatherings and searching for old aunts in crowded zoos and looking after kids on crutches and so on, I’m feeling casual to the point where I’m running out of empyreal fragments to feed my start of gratitude with. Actually I’ve run out of bloodstone dust a while back already . While I don’t play much dungeons or fractals when I’m feeling down from real life, it’s still my primary source of champ boxes. I absolutely despise world boss farming or event trains, and casually completing maps with alt after alt doesn’t give you much of that stuff. That said, I still have a few rarely-played alts with bags filled with dragonite ore, so I’ll second that idea .

I joined to a level 40 third fractal…and I got gs fractal skin (which I didnt have).
Did lvl 50 and got wupwup weapon chest.
Not a bad day.

Read several good post on the necro forms about how to fix and include them in the zerker meta. Lets just hope Anet has paid them some attention.

Yeah, discussions on the Necro subforums tend to be pretty civil, knowledgeable and informative usually.
I really hope anet addresses some of the issues the base profession has for HoT and that the specialization doesn´t turn out to be garbage in PvE as well T_T

The amount of good suggestions on the necro subforum is pretty insane. And that quality has been going on for at least the last year and a half. Unfortunately none of those suggestions ever get implemented.

Although greatsword was the most commonly asked for weapon. So maybe we will see a few more community suggestions in the specialisation. Still waiting on those blast finishers though….

The amount of wound-licking in the ele subforum is pretty good, too.

what wounds? is being a core profession of all three game modes some sort of wound that needs healing? are these the same wounds that warrior crybabies moan about where they just want more QoL?

At least, warrior has the best trait tree and so many fun and viable builds while ele builds tend to be extreme, static and it gets boring after 3 years.

My favorite is “blasting staff is too good, I don’t want to have to get it but I always want it!”

That one made me chuckle.

I cant agree with that when eles have traits as game changing as fresh air. If only they had more weapons to work with that. :>

For ele, you either spec heavily in the first 2 lines or the last 2 lines. That’s where it gets boring – in 3 game modes.
