You can also jump over the maingate with savage leap and stuff.

Yep, used to jump over the main gate but for some reason when I tried it recently I had trouble so I figured I’d look for an easier and more consistent jump instead.

Nice vid, how did u do the last jump though I can’t seem to do it (ie. dialog doesn’t pop).

Take off all your speedbuffs, maybe even try the other side of the gate. It’s tight but it does pop up if you aim your jump properly.

Yeah I was bored and wanted to try haha. Managed to get dialog but couldn’t actually pop inside cuz too slow on the click. Oh well, I had fun

I’d love to see runes that complement defensive gear. For example:
Rune of the Nomad
Gain 100 Power if your Toughness is over 1200
Gain 100 Precision if your Vitality is over 1200
Gain 200 Power if your Toughness is over 1500
Gain 200 Precision if your Vitality is over 1500
Gain 300 Power if your Toughness is over 1800
Gain 300 Precision if your Vitality is over 1800
Gain 30% Boon Duration if your Healing Power is over 1000
Things like this would still leave you below someone with offensive gear, but at least the Zerkers using percentage buffs (i.e. 10% Damage from Scholar Runes) wouldn’t be so exponentially outmatching you in PvE. It would give the people with Cleric’s gear a much needed 600 Power and 30% Boon Duration, or people with Valkyrie gear a nice 600 Precision (28% Critical Chance). Granted, that’s not as big of a buff as Scholar Runes are for a Zerker, but straight offensive stats are worth more to defensive builds than percentage buffs.
Nomad’s Gear (full defensive) would get a decent bump too, although it would still be less powerful than Cleric’s or Valk’s (unless they had no runes).

Hey guys. We are at 19 of 20 teams registered for the trio tournament. I believe I had reached out to every speed clear guild that I know of, so if there are any I’ve missed and you were planning on entering a squad for the tournament please do so soon.

We will probably continue to allow people to sign up for priority alternates when people inevitably have to drop but if you 100% want in now is the time.

Ugh… Anet is bound to listen to the casuals sooner or later. So many cries. Why wont people just shut up and learn to play? If they want to tank or heal, go play a Holy Trinity MMO.

I dont have faith in Anet anymore. Closing in on 3 years of GW2 and were there any miracles? Nope.

The faith in them is so low I’ve come to expect a mobile app announcement for PAX.

Eventually they will realize that they can add huge “voluntary” grind by making a set of multiple armors optimal / required.

It’s pretty stupid for people to ask for that but wouldn’t be the first time when people try to shoot on their own foot.

This is what happens when I get bored and no one is around to dungeon with me.

Obviously I have not been reading every response in here. I think the best thing to remember when wanting someone to do something different with their character for the good of the run, ask politely. I get so mad when players rely on a mesmer to portal instead of just doing things the way they were meant to be done or ask someone to basically switch their build so they don’t have to do as much. I have been much more willing to try something someone else’s way when they explained why it worked and asked me if I would be willing to switch a few things for that moment. The other side of that coin is also nasty. I was recently in a party in which I had the most achievement points by about 6k. We were rocking until something glitched and we were stuck. A few party members immediately gave me a hard time saying crap like, “and you have more AP, not fair”. I love being in parties that don’t need to talk but mow everything down. Proudly a humble elitist.

What do you prefer for CoE if you don’t plan to swap during the runs, undead or inquest slaying potions? Or something else?

Undead. 3 alpha fights, 1 golem fight. Sure you got some golems in between but the one group goes down fast enough before the lasers, and then the others are time locked so any time advantage is null.

The announcement at PAX will be GW2 console launch.

GW2 was origianally going to be on consoles, but they couldn’t get it to work. Now there’s a new generation that could run it OK, and they’ve been around long enough to make it announcement-ready.

You know it makes sense.

Looks like ESO is going to be Buy2Play after it releases on consoles. Maybe they are announcing that now because of the gw2 xpac announcement?

I seriously doubt it has anything to do with GW2. We’ve been expecting ESO to move to F2P/B2P for ages already.

So I got my necro to 80 today, zerked up, and went arah. After few runs I’m actually starting to feel that my necro does more dps than my mes….

Lol, frifox. Necro always does more dmg than mesmer. Mesmer just has it waaaaaayayyyyyyy easier than necro :\
