Which elite spec are you going for first?

Herald… Then chrono or scrappe depending on how viable gyros result to be.
Kek #tempesthype
Chronomancer, then Chronomancer, and finally Chronomancer.
Chronomancer.
Dragonhunter. Ironically, I can’t stand the elite spec, but guardian is my main and she gets to play through HoT first.
Once that is done, there are daredevil and scrapper I would really love to look into, but those are (former) dungeon characters which don’t have much world-completion. So that’ll be a matter of simply grinding out the hero points.

Same boat here except I don’t think DH will be of any use in PVE so I’ll probably just go for Rev stuff first and use vanilla guard as usual in the new content.
I’ll be trying out some DH in pvp. I had great success last bwe but that was with the 9k spike trap that was reduced to a wet noodle now.

Reaper. After that I’m not sure, depends on what I feel like unlocking.
Through my profession rotation, tomorow is elementalist day. So tomorow, I’ll work on tempest and see how far I can go.
Saturday will be thieve day, so I’ll advance daredevil (it will be faster since I will have learned from tempest).
Sunday will be warrior… etc.
Edit: Ow… I have to insert the revenant in the rotation and since it will be a female sylvari, it should be somewhere alongside the elementalist, thief, warrior and mesmer… Dang it…

Chronomancer for sure.
It’s the best spec conceptually, the best in practice and the most fun to play. No brainer for me, mesmer has become my new main with this.
That poor Tempest though…
Herald first and then I’ll see. Unless Rev is getting a nerf I doubt I’ll have the desire to play anything else for a looong time.
Dragonhunter : P
On a more serious side finally mesmer meta! Chrono hype!

Daredevil. It is hands down the most exciting elite specialization to me.
wow reaper at the top ha3…. didn’t see it coming.
Shocked tempest and dragonhunter even got votes. o.o

Well most people here are playing Ele and Guard because of ‘meta’.

Well, if either class is your main you’ll unlock it first anyway.
Then there’s also people who only play 1-2 classes.

Or because we’ve mained guard for 3 years

Scrapper. I mained a thief…but that prof seems to be in a really bad place and I’ve really been enjoying engi.

This too, though you have to admit that we are in a bad spot with HoT, Chronomancer, Herald and Scrapper are much better…
Oh I’m not disagreeing there. I’m going to run stock guardian with Revenant and sinister engie as my backups

Daredevil for funsies and Coolness factor (Also my only toon with World Completion and thus a 50% Headstart).
Druid because I called that role in my Raid group and actually HAVE the Zealot Insignia on one of my toons. Also got 150 Hero Points already.
Thief – Duelist | Ranger – Strider | Engineer – Technician |
Elementalist – Spellweaver | Necromancer – Warlock | Mesmer – Trickster |
Take a guess ç_ç starts with d…
…ends with lots of raging.
herald, chrono, reaper, in that order.

This is tough because there are two that fit that description perfectly.
