Does anyone else want to see the hex outfit back, particularly the one for female characters??
I wasn’t playing the game when it was initially released but I desperately want it!!
Please please please anet can we have that back as a gem store item for Halloween too?

The hex outfit was an in game item, not a gemstore one. I would prefer it to come back as an in game item myself rather than be moved to the gemstone.

Hexed Outfit was pretty much a freebie during last year’s Halloween.

By freebie I mean it was super easy to obtain it.

I’m not in game right now, so can’t check, but I’m 90% sure it never went away and you can still get it from the trader who swaps corn cobs for 20 slot bags in LA..

Edit: hmm, no appears I’m wrong, I must have been thinking of sonder and he only has the halloween pails and the mini prince thorn.

I’ve balanced my gem purchases for next week assuming it’s going to be there (also on top of HoT purchase) I’m planning on buying the witch (my next character will either be a human male necro…who will main the noble count suit or a female asura ranger but will definitely be making both eventually and from previews the witch outfit looks great on female asura), executioner, and hexxed outfits with maybe some spare gems for a couple of fire pack dyes.

I think it’s an exceptionally bad idea to ask for a company to take an item that is an ingame reward or purchase and change it to a gemstore purchase. What next? What other thing will they remove from the game and make people pay for it?

They added it as an ingame reward last year, there is a chance it will be placed as a reward for halloween just like back then. It’s highly unlikely they will suddenly sell it on the TP as it would cause alot of frustration from players. It only costed some candy corn cobs so you can already ‘buy’ it now if you are willing to take that chance (by getting the candy corn cobs ready).

The Hex outfit was available last year for a grand total of 3 candy corn cobs, sold by the Halloween Merchants.
It is very likely they will return when the candy corn starts to bloom again and jr. and sr. Thorn open the doors too the maze.

Wish the male version was a warlock/wizard in some way similar to the female version instead of a monstrous lich creature. :< So I didn’t bother getting it.

Perhaps it’ll roll out on Halloween?

No…no it isn’t a bad idea. ANYTHING that brings in revenue for them but does not give players a significant advantage is an amazing idea.

People that are usually against this are also the ones that usually don’t support the game via in-game purchases because they feel that the company is somehow cheating them.

No…no it isn’t a bad idea. ANYTHING that brings in revenue for them but does not give players a significant advantage is an amazing idea.

It would be a really bad idea to turn any item you can buy in game, let alone one for something as measly as 3 Candy Corn Cobs into a gemstore item. Just wait for Halloween.

I’ve spent hundreds of dollars and thousands of gold on the gem store. I still think it would be a bad idea to monetize ingame rewards. What next? Legendaries? By your argument, brings in revenue and doesn’t give an advantage (I’ve read that the GW2 Chinese client sells Legendaries in their gem story so it’s not an impossible idea.)

However it was back this last Halloween and should return next year for the expected price of a few candy corn cobs.

As people have already said it’s a Halloween item – it will be available next Halloween along with all the other Halloween items.
