What happened to the suggestions section?

SUGGESTIONS [moderator, please pin this]
What I would like to know is why the suggestions forum was sent to the dumpster? All this did was migrate suggestions to the game discussion forum, might as well just shut all the forums down. Was it because they don’t care about our suggestions or what?

People consistently complained when their suggestions were moved to the suggestion forum. A lot less people actually looked at the suggestion forum. Suggestions will get more traction being in the appropriate sub forum.
It’s not about caring or not caring. It’s about exposure of ideas to those what have to live with those ideas.

Because the suggestion forum was where all threads go to die.

The suggestions that matter to the forum community will get the hits and replies necessary to make them relevant, the ones that do not resonate will not.
Creating a sticky defeats the purpose. Just make good suggestions instead.

Everyone can still make their own thread and also add the link to this list.
Think of this as more of a ‘Table of contents’ than a ‘end all be all suggestions topic’.

A lot of us did not look in the suggestion forum because we where tired of seeing the same suggestions made day after day, week after week, month after month. Now they do nothing but clutter up the general discussion forum.
As to this thread, if they are going to make a sticky and put all the suggestions in one thread, they might as well create a separate forum for just suggestions, oh wait, we had one of those……
