Sir, I think you have the wrong game. This is Guild Wars 2, not Dark Souls.

But, you know… part of me wants to SEE this in game. I’d probably be a corpse in seconds, but imagine saying, “OH MY GOD IT’S A PACK OF CHAMPION POCKET RAPTORS RUN SAVE YOURSELVES RUN AWAAAAY” in mapchat.

forget Champion raptors give us Legendary Pocket Raptors mixed with legendary rollers and legendary smokescales all in a big cluster for raid battle and 2 fire wyverns spamming their fire fields

There’s an area, I think in the Tangled Depths, where there are herds of stationary pocket raptors to navigate between and a roaming group of pocket raptors to liven things up.

It got me thinking how cool it would be if there was a veritable ocean of raptors to wade through…

Now imagine if all those raptors could merge into one super-pocket-raptor!!

Actually a champion pocket raptor is just a swarm of pocket raptors like we have already seen… ony 1000 times more of them. Your entire screen goes red with the pocket raptors swarming

And they make this like that achievement in WoW connected to Leroy Jenkins, where you have to kill [x] number of creatures (in this case… Pocket Raptors) in [y] time. Or something like that.

No, then I would suggest Legendary Mordrem Flameriders.

Well they do (did?) have champion risen chicken. And those things hurt. A lot.

Also, I still say rangers should get a pocket raptor swarm as a tamable pet. Summon half a dozen of those for pure awesome.

I think the best way to do it would be a pocket raptor matriarch. One big mob (champ raptor) that just constantly spawns swarms of the little ones.

Also, +1 for pocket raptor swarm ranger pets.

And the Snipers are shooting Legendary Rolling Devils. Hmm I think this would be even too much for Dark Souls Players xD

You’re almost correct, those groups of Pocket Raptors that you think are stationary, are far from it, they do move around…all of the groups. You should try gathering up like 3 or 4 of them at once and see how much fun it is, but then again, I play a Ranger using LB and Axe, so Pocket Raptors are no problem for me(even if I’m swarmed by a dozen or more since they melt like hot butter).

But this idea of a Champion or Legendary Pocket Raptor, I like it, as long as it’s an entire group of them, say anywhere from 5 – 9 strong, with a mix of Legendary and Champion all together, yeah, that sounds about right.

As for the Mordrem Rolling Devils, um, they need to roll in packs, one of them ping-ponging alone does not instill fright or even worry…and even when I come across a group of 4, I’m not concerned, but maybe it’s a melee thing and long range fighting does present it’s advantages.

Im axe/torch ranger with LB aswell … yep bonfire or fire trap them and “POOF” problem solved
