Nuhoc stealth detection inconsistent?
Stealth or port/shadowstep?
Stealth, completely losing the target and then reappearing .
You sure they’re not shadow stepping?
You sure they’re not shadow stepping?
Pretty sure after 3 years of playing the game I can tell the difference
I’m fairly sure that Nuhoch Stealth Detection has no effect on the HP Champ at Treacherous Path wp.
It’s possible he’s porting and so I’m missing his outline or something? I dunno, aside from its use on Treasure Mushrooms, NSD isn’t as helpful as I thought it would be. The fact that most of the mobs it is effective on do both a port and go stealth means you’re going to spend half your window to figure out where the hell they went anyway.

I’m leveling it on the off chance it is necessary for raids, otherwise i would be going straight for leyline gliding
I got a mushroom spore from the invisible shroom event despite not even having that mastery.
Taking a break from GW2 to play various
Nintendo games..
Can confirm. I also can’t see the frog mobs in stealth, which makes zero sense.
Nuhoch Stealth Detection only lets you see enemies that are permanently invisible, such as Treasure Mushrooms and one of the Night-time bosses in Verdant Brink.
Enemies that use regular Stealth, such as Itzel, Mordrem Snipers etc. can still Stealth from view, far as my understanding goes.
Thief – Duelist | Ranger – Strider | Engineer – Technician |
Elementalist – Spellweaver | Necromancer – Warlock | Mesmer – Trickster |

False. You can easily see any mordrem, like the snipers while they go in stealth.
Currently, only the “frog” enemies can’t be seen while they do that.
Question, how does the detection work? Does it reveal (so other players van see it as well) or not. If not, the detection might be hard to program.
It IS usually the mordrem version of the frogs, yes. Normal frogs I can see in stealth, but mordrem frogs apparently I can’t for some reason.
@roel they basically have like a transparent texture to them, but you still see their models
