Ok so im a returning player that used to play Elementalist, which is a class that make you feels like you are “Almost” doing the same and every roll for WvW/PvE/sPvP in a good way. Its the first class i ever learned and the most OP one and not because of some amulets or builds but because the way its (Skill/traits) the meaning of any current celestial build is just a Wanna be Elementalist. Eles has everything i would ever want from any class, Enough selfsustain, Enough Groupsupport….Enough Damage for team/Duel fights… and enough Mobility to get in and get out.

The thing is, i cannot play it anymore….i stopped playing GW2 once this class got the huge nerf…and not because i couldnt play anything else, in fact i tried to switch to Thief playstyle but the reward for outplaying your enemy while being squishy wasnt enough, 100nades engis could do it better, Tried Warrior but even while its a heavy class you could not hold multiple enemies like an Ele could, Engis were OP back then but mostly about burst, OP Burst but they are not meant to be good against everything, just like Thief. Guardian were pure bunker class OP bunker but just not what i like, not after playing an Elementalist, there is not and wont be any class like elementalist….even if you fail with it you will always know you could have done better, while most of the other classes have their own counters or lets say you can feel their limits. I needed to say this because i dont want to play eles or engis in the current meta….they are just mean to be nerf in the future and i understand why… which i didnt back then…..

So what i need now is a class that can keep the same GEAR (armor/Jewely, Not weapons) for WvW and Dungeons….why? because it gives me the same feeling i had with the elementalist. it doesnt matter the playstyle….doesnt matter what its lacking.

WvW roaming build

NO it doesnt need to be a roaming gear for WvW or a PURE ZERK gear for Dungeons…..

i would think that thief, since they are all about DPS, would be another example? but they may need to switch Runes….

Why exactly do you want to have the same armor and stats for wvw/pvp/dungeons? Dungeon’s are all about full zerk… at least that’s my opinion. Ele is very strong in PvP and you can make your own pvp build that’s unique to pve. Any changes in pvp you make will change back to what you had before once you leave Heart of the Mists.

You can run zerk in dungeons and zerk in WvW if you want for ele.

You didnt read till the end bro, first of all i dont want the same gear for SPvP….in fact i didnt link any sPVP build as example, why? because everyone knows your dont need GEAR for sPvP……

Second….i already said that i dont want to play Elementalist…but thx for trying to read.

Ranger:

The Power Roamer/Zerg Skirmisher build uses full Zerker setup and can make do with the same Runes as the Dungeon Meta Ranger, you’ll just be switching Traits around and swapping out Sw/A for GS in WvW.

Thief:

A D/P Roamer uses Zerker gear, same as the PvE Meta. Again, just switching traits around should be enough to be viable in either spot.
