What: Thief players eyes.
Why: If I can’t see them, neither should they!

Why: Needs a permanent pet that steals 40% of your DPS and dies in an instant
Currently @ some T1 server in EU
Just because a thief once complained about Engineers being OP then this happened

Will agree that Shadow’s Rejuvenation needs to be nerfed. A lot. Assassin’s Reward shouldn’t be punishing people for actively staying in combat out of stealth while Shadow’s Rejuvenation rewards people for staying in stealth, healing them completely in a short amount of time.

I don’t think the base needs to be nerfed. It’s in a Healing Power tree though, and the trait itself scales too well with Healing. I’ve been known to run an “invincible” condition thief using Apothecary gear to troll zergs for days, and you’re able to get well over 1000 HPS in stealth with even a minor investment in healing power.
This is a nerf wish list after all… it is a nerf he is requesting…
since which day this thread is a serious thread about nerfs^^ btw thieves who prefer non stealth builds should be more conservative with their statements about nerfing shadow rejuvenation … it’s not OP^^ but the intention staying in stealth can be annoying BUT who do u want to kill in stealth

LMAO. The only thing its good for is outhealing 1 stack of bleed from a Necro. C’mon now
I run into Warriors all the time tanking 20 stacks of bleed, their health isn’t even moving, why don’t people complain about those? Because you can see them? lol
Nice thread btw, the sad part is the truth behind all this though, people will never acknowledge their bad play, they’ll just blame the entire class. Thief has already been nerfed into oblivion. As long as they don’t nerf CnD, I’ll always remain “OP” tho.

Initiative regen under chilled has already been discussed by Jon Sharp, who says that -66% initiative regeneration would be way too big a hit on thieves, and he likes that we’re somewhat of a hard counter to chill-based builds altogether.

Why Thiefs are not supposed to be able to use dodge on toop of all their rolling and teleporting skills!!! IT IS FAR TOO OP!! I cannot kill one with my Warrior without the use of 2 HANDS!! You hear me? I NEED 2 HANDS TO KILL ONE!! simply 1 hand on the mouse is not enough!!!
How to Change; Remove Endurance from Thiefs, so they cannot dodge. Also make them walk instead of run, any swiftness buff will be neglected on Thiefs.

Per the suggestion from the author:

I don’t mind the condi transfer idea, but does S/D need 3 cripples and no gap closers?
What: Thief’s Shortbows
Why: Every thief is using them so it must be an OP weapon. For starters, thieves are abusing the ultra-short range to detonate arrows at point blank, and that is unrealistic and unfun. The explosion should damage the thief too to prevent that, and since the projectile is slow, the thief has time to get out of the way so the change is balanced.
Also thieves are spamming evades too much, so, whenever they use SB #3, they must suffer a 20% cumulative chance of the bow’s string snapping, and slashing their eyes, blinding them. Then, the string should fall to their feet, entangling them, and inflicting cripple for 10 seconds.
Choking gas is going to be nerfed already so that’s OK. Finally, I see that you removed the infiltrator’s arrow, but thieves still keep teleporting neverthless, so they must be using a exploit. Fix it please.
What: S/D and S/P (?!!!)
Why: These builds have too much evasion. Weapon skill evasion should also cost endurance. Thief still to mobile. Too much damage. Too much burst.

Heya guys,i cannot believe some of the nerf requests,ppl are so lazy they dont even try to understand why they died.My chars are necro and ranger and i play lot of wvw and of course i met a lot of thiefs,some i killed(the noob ones)some i didnt(the decent ones).But i dont start to blame a whole class for my lack of skill thats just kittened.i actually whisper a good thief after he killed me and ask him for advice and if he wants to duel me and most of them are really awesome dudes and do just that.once it took me 7 tries to kill a d/p thief(i suck that bad)but thx for the poor guys patience i managed and learned something so ppl should try to put a bit of effort and actually try and stop kittening and qq.ohh and btw i started a thief too and its so hard compared to my necro and ranger i was totally lost in pvp,so ppl should try playing a thief and see the lvl of skill requiered to be decent.
