Yep, that was some good defense in the Garrison this morning and tons of fun for us at CD – you definitely made a few of us rage a bit and really have to spend a lot burning siege. Great fight!

Just one thing. Is there a reason you keep hitting our borderland so hard and leave Ehmry’s alone until after everything red gets wiped out?

When me and my crew played last night we actually wiped all of Ehmry first – every keep and camp. When then took who we had left to Maguuma. And you can say that we are a “zerg” server, but we actually had all 3 borderlands empty out into the same time into Maguuma borderlands because someone went there to mention that we were going to wipe it – so I guess we kind of did turn into a zerg.

But a zerg server would have failed taking the garrison, we are atleast somewhat organized! Right? :S

I’m noticing this on multiple occasions and times, it’s not a one time thing. CD is not hitting EBay as hard as Mag and vice versa. You keep quoting “zerg” server, do you honestly believe your oceanic presence is not a zerg? Because many CD players have already come to terms with this.

I’m not sure about the other guild leaders but my guild and a few others are currently aiming Maguuma just because we love all your posts in this forum.

:) i actually had alot of fun just playing defense yesterday against NAGA players. I honestly don’t play wvw to win, if it’s fun ill play, if not i won’t. Keep bringing the fun.

The only thing that sucks about it is not being able to play counter offense because we’re getting hit by both servers.

And if you don’t want us to hit you as hard as EB, then maybe you should try defending your homeland half as well as they do – it’s much easier just to walk into your BG and walk out with a ton of karma than it is in theirs.

One day some of you might fight a real zerg server and see what it’s like to fight a server that actually has queue’s.

Maguuma has fought every single T1-T5 server at least once.

Try fighting them when they are at the top of their transfer game instead of when the ball just starts rolling down there at the bottom.

You call us a zerg server because we can populate 1 battleground at night, but those higher tier servers will have queues on atleast 2 borderlands at once throughout the day.

Uhh, we fought Sea of Sorrows 2.0. I’m sure they bandwagoned since the beginning of 2.0, but not enough to make a difference to a server of our caliber.

I wish these match ups weren’t settled during non peak times. PvDoor to win is annoying.

We had just taken Dreadfall Bay and peeled all of Crystal Desert from Maguuma Borderlands which allowed you to take back your entire home uncontested. We were hoping you’d take the hint and come to Crystal Desert Borderlands for revenge, but instead an [iLL] raid with 2 commanders and 50 players show up in Ehmry Bay Borderlands instead. Some random spy decided to build 40 siege weapons in Ascension Bay at the supply depots to lock out our siege for Maguuma’s raid as well.

So yes, we had to come back to our borderlands and wipe [iLL], and the vast majority of players were pissed that you guys cost us our push into Crystal Desert for both our servers to regain a foothold. Not like there’s an alliance or we expect your cooperation, but please forgo playing the victim card.

We are not very organized. Not compared to the T1 and T2 servers. But i can see that we are at least 3x more organized than you guys, the only thing you guys know is to create a single huge zerg and hop from BL to BL with that single zerg while we take everything else from you. Your players lack individual skill as well. Took like 10 people to wipe 30 maguuma guys on EB this morning.

Maguuma doesn’t even deserve to be in tier 4

We managed to group up and take out a fully defended, fully upgraded and fully sieged out Maguuma Garrison using cross-guild coordination. You can cry all you want, but when my guild rolls into your BL or any where else we destroy you even with lesser numbers. You can sit here and say that we are bad, but we destroy you even without a zerg. Your organizational skills are not amazing, or even competent – you cannot even defend your own borderland even when you do have the numbers.

I do not know why you guys think you are so good while you continually sit so low in the tier rankings. If people thought you were good they would have transfered to your server after you “stomp them” with your superior organizational skills.

There is a reason why your borderland has been the place to go for free points. We rolled in there with a group of 10 and rolled out with an easy keep cap.

Keep up the charade, we will keep farming those easy points.

When you do this to us overnight in American time, yeah, that might happen. Kind of like how Ehmry Bay and Maguuma reset all of your upgraded towers in Eternal today because you didn’t defend any of them.

Maybe because skill only takes you so far? Ask any T1 server, coverage is pretty much everything. CD, TC, FA, and so on are all mid-tier servers with way better coverage than us. We got dropped low because of playing them and SoS 2.0 really messed up the brackets even more. I don’t think it’s fair to say we don’t belong in T4, but there’s a huge population disparity between Crystal Desert and Maguuma that makes T4 pretty uninteresting for us (at least me), so I wouldn’t mind going back to T5. The only serious contender for T4 that’s not in it right now is Darkhaven, and we may just switch back and forth with them, because they lost some big numbers recently and I’m not sure they can do much better than us

We don’t like anyone because no one likes us. We get a lot of hate, I think it’s because of the JP campers, but I could be wrong. I unno, I’d like to know why so many people throw hate around, at us, and at any other server, honestly. It’s a game, WvW is ment to be fun, not a rage fest for people to trash talk other servers for how they handle it.

Are you on right now? Mag BL is being hit from both spawns again, other borderlands are 100%. Its just a constant theme. I’m not accusing anyone of anything. I’m tired of fighting 2 servers without any let up and I need a break.

And it looks like alot of people here from all 3 servers need to take a break from being forum warriors. Holy cow do you make everyone else look bad. Just stop it.

We didn’t PVdoor your garrison last night, and we certainly didn’t PVdoor your borderlands in the middle of the day yesterday. Proclaim PVdoor all day long, but it’s 8 PM on a Sunday and we are still leading in potential points and farming you for free badges.

I’d say we could settle the question of individual skill via fight club, but I don’t think either other server wants to step up to the challenge

Honestly I am just doing a bit of trolling and seeing which guys take the bait. We have actually had a lot of good fights with both Ehmry bay and Maguuma and actually have a fair amount of respect for you guys, and have had some great fights with a few select groups of you who really surprised us. Yes CD has a very large PVdoor squad, and while we have gotten a few select NA guilds to start padding out our NA primetime, we are still weak then. We have the Oceanic presence of a T3-T2 server but a NA presence down here at T4 (and sometimes it feels like T5). Sometimes we really do feel bad when we PVdoor everything down and have nothing left to do, because my guild really likes open field combat and trying to practice against good defensive squads.

We have a few very organized guilds, but our pugs really are of the zerg mentality and we try to teach them “the way”s, but the zerg does what it must.

I have a lot of fun in WvW when I go in there for my monthly achievements (or world completion), but it intimidates me an awful lot otherwise and I tend to stay far away from it because of all the hostility and competitiveness I see surrounding it. I’m not very competitive, feels odd to be disliked by people I don’t know because other people on my server (Maguuma) do things they don’t like. And then people from Mag are jerks in here and make us all look bad, too… yikes.

no clue what you are even talking about, i was on all day yesterday, not once did our garrison fall during the time of 11am-10pm pst. Bay keep was lost around 3pm pst because we just didnt have the numbers to stop both EB and CD who were attacking our keeps simutaneously, so we chose to defend from EB since we could treb bay keep from garrison. The only place that was lost was bay, and hill, but let it be known, it took about 7 hours until our hill’s keep was lost with on and off attack from EB. hill’s keep fell around 8pm pst, but it was because we had to defend garrison from CD relentless attacks. I’m not going to say this and that about you guys, but just saying all we did yesterday in maguuma BL was endless defense, for the whole entire day. But i guess it’s just because you’re a forum warrior aren’t you fellow? hopefully your server aren’t like you, because it would be a shame, i enjoy fighting against CD, but if they have the same mentality and ridiculus notion that you have, then they are just trash.

I’ve just recently arrived in maguuma, and the community seems to be very relaxed and well knit, they have a server mumble that they publicly share with everyone in wvw, and they openly take suggestions, and even if it’s very bad idea, they aren’t pricks and just totally bash on the fellow, they respectfully decline saying why it’s not a good idea, and ask for new suggestions.

I honestly can say that maguuma is quite organized and respectful to new players, maybe not all the time, but when we’re focused and not randomly talking about nonsense in mumble we make grounds, but we all just play to enjoy the game. Maguuma has the same amount of players in wvw as a T8 server (kaineg) from my experience, they just have better around the clock coverage than kaineg. I honestly think that if all server had equal numbers and coverage, maguuma might have a very good chance at winning the match.

of course magerma is terrible, i mean we have literally lost every week, except against emerybay (LOL) of course only because of secret alliances, hackers, exploiters and our massive asian and euro population.

and all the pugs and random zerglings in every server are baddies, no server is exempt. me and my group routinely wipe greater numbers of randoms we encounter. it’s meaningless to say how good or bad skillwise a server is, since the majority of the time you’ll be fighting the bads at this tier.

And now yet another server has experienced why Maguuma has developed something of a reputation. All while just being “victims” of population.

If anyone has a cry about population in this matchup it’s Ehmry Bay. Our early morning population is just pathetic. But we have also lost a few matchups because our organization was lacking. You know what we did, we worked on it. We are still working on it, and we are getting better.

Will we have the early morning population to breach higher tiers? Unlikely without significant transfers. It’s hard to overcome a 3-5k or more deficit per night. But what we can do is show you we can mix it up as well as anyone when not outrageously outnumbered.

Crystal Desert has mercilessly nightcapped us. Tis true. However from playing against them I can honestly say they earned this win. They are a tough, smart, and coordinated server and the first of it’s like I’ve had the pleasure of facing. I hope we gave yall a good go at least.

Two and a half pages of responses in the span of 24 hours. Yeesh. CD doesn’t credit anything we do as skillful, and Ebay is desperate to beat us to avoid a hat-trick. Then we have the people reading the server population and presuming that as the WvW population. LOL.

If you looked at the people in voice comm right now, that equals less than 0.01% of the server.

I liked the part when EBay couldn’t take the supply camp closest to their spawn from 5 people, so they brought 20. That was adorable. And at that time, yet again, EBay BL wasn’t clean, so they ended up smacking right into CD and brawling outside east keep. Shine on!

Edit: Did Maguuma order more commanders this week? You guys should call the hotline and return some of them.

This hasn’t changed at all since opening night where they intentionally handicapped all of our openers. Yet we still managed to do things like take Crystal Desert Garrison, we just can’t keep it with Maguuma dedicated to ninjaing our camps with 20 people instead of trying to actually fight.

Err, since when was supply starvation a gimmick and not a valid tactic? Furthermore, CD does that to us regularly. But I guess when they do it, it’s coordinated, right? Lastly, last time we played you guys, it was you that had the gimmick of tons of thieves round robining all of our supply camps.

Haha, the numbers more were equal for awhile, but I think a lot of CD elsewhere. Heck, you guys had 20+ people raiding our north supply camp that we wiped and at some point assaulted east keep and built catapult after catapult that we kept killing.
