On Monday Sept 3, I logging on it showed I was suspended for 72 hours. I didn’t know what was happening so I just thought I would wait out that 72 hours. Plus I didn’t have much time to play at the time. About 30 hours left on waiting. I tried attempting to log onto the game and seeing my process. Now it is my account been block and permanent suspended. It’s saying because of racial slurs. I never offended anyone on the game. I’ve been playing with my cousins only and haven’t partied with any other people. Here’s the ticket number. Ticket #120907-001976

My boyfriends account was hacked on September 4th. His email was changed, so now he can’t log in. His original ticket number is Incident:120904-006652 but he was not signed into his support account when he submitted it. He submitted a new ticket well signed into to support and that number is Incident:120906-002997. He also just updated that last ticket and got a new ticket number which is Incident:120907-004768.
They changed his email address on the game, so now he can’t log in. all the info you guys are requesting are in the submitted tickets.

Description of what happened: My account was apperently hacked. I had some issues with account security in the past with Diablo 3, and foolishly used the same e-mail and password. I have since changed my password, and installed “Avast!” which has some really amazing password protection tools. It also found an amazing 11 Viruses on the initial sweep of my machine, and 4 more in the boot sector sweep which when I googled their names, they popped up as a type of misdirection virus, which would take me from the site I was trying to goto (such as the official Diablo 3 Forums) to a look-alike site and record my login information, where the submit button was mearly a link back to the real site … darn sneaky hackers!
Oh look, more hoops to jump through. “We’re resolving prioritized hacked account tickets within 72 hours,” is apparently the great lie in this game.

I have posted twice in this thread (Page 4 and Page 8.) to no avail. Going on 9 days now
I’m not sure if this was the plan from the getgo, but my friend has completely lost faith in your support team and I don’t blame him at all. He was hacked on 8/28/12 and submitted the ticket the next day on 8/29/12. Since then he has received a handfull of copy-pasted TL;DR canned responses and two actual responses that would be resolutions to his issues if the information provided actually worked. At this point he has basically given up and is actually considering buying a new copy of the game and re-leveling his character because the support is so bad.

If this is not enough information to identify his account, PLEASE let me know so I can get more info from him. Seriously, I appreciate that you guys are supposedly making an effort to prioritize these issues and correct them, but with no follow-through after 9 days what’s the point.

My friends account was hacked 2 and a half days ago.He was playing and suddenly got kick off the game.When he checked his email he recived this “Someone -hopefully you!- has requested to change the email address associated with your Guild Wars account.” He then immediately sent an email via “ask a question” and did not get an email back other than the automated reply. He has every single detail of the purches.the next day he opened a second ticket because he did not know he was not supposed to.

Have a guildmate, Vllad.6078, who has been unable to play for 5 days. No response to support ticket and the phone number for support doesn’t work anymore. I believe his problem was “email not associated with account”. They fixed it once and then it happened again and he hasn’t been able to talk to anyone since then.

Pretty sure I wasn’t hacked as my e-mail on my account is still the same and I can change my password on the website no problem, but I have been permanently banned for reasons unknown since I haven’t done anything in game to cause a ban, never used foul language in fact rarely talk at all in-game, always friendly, don’t even know any exploits or have the desire to try and find any. Put in a ticket and got an automated response about resetting my password (which I did…AGAIN) the authinticate e-mail button is greyed out so I guess that’s not an option for me? Still can’t log in.

My Girlfriends account account was hacked and they changed her email 3 days ago.
She was not sent any type of “Verify E-mail Change” or anything, this is ridiculous.
Every single account I have ever had for forums, games, etc… all send some type of “Click here to verify you made this change” when e-mail or password or any type of change happens.
Whenever she attempts to log into her account here or the game; she gets the following error message:
“The email address you entered was not found, If you have an active game account, please try again, if you’re still having trouble, please contact customer support.”
The only thing that she was able to do was make a Support Account.
Her CD-Key, account name, full display name are all written in the support ticket that you can reference below.

She got some instructions, but the support agent did not change her e-mail/account name back; which is what was asked in the “additional info” section of the automated response below:
If you have not already included this information, please reply with the following information:

2. What is your complete Guild Wars 2 Display Name (if you have it)?
3. What is your 25-digit Guild Wars 2 Serial Code?
so she is not able to recover her account. Please look at ticket number 120903-009654 once again and correctly assist it.
Why ask for this information if your just going to send a “copy and paste” fix and not actually DO anything?
This is extremely frustrating, we spent over $100 on your game; and barley got to get some playtime in. It is now going on 5 days! You state in your updates that you have been resolving tickets within 72 hours…but from our experience and seeing other posts here; I think you may want to either update that “72 hours” time frame to something more reasonable, or have your support team put in some overtime to help the thousands of customers that can’t even use your product.
SO is it going to be ANOTHER week before we get a response?
