I bought HoT, made my account upgrade to HoT.
Now it is no longer HoT upgraded and back to basic GW2.

This is a huge oversight and I haven’t received a response yet to my ticket. I’d like to publicly see what is going on, this is happening to a TON of people!

Even got suspended, though I bought my upgrade from the official site.

Not a game breaking issue, but I found some interesting looking mordrem (right side of picture)

After Patch same Issue, but now i have 3 Chests which make a Fatal Error.

Another update, not fixed, still stuck in Prologe: rally to maguma mission, i cant enter to “instance” zone to active the mission after crash the game.

I know that arena.net is looking this, but i spend 100€ to play the game, and a devoleper answer for a Gamebreaking bug that dont let you play the game with your character will be good.

Because our client auto closed to patch after we finished the prologue, everyone who was in it can’t get access to Verdant brink. We can’t redo the story, and we didn’t get the WP unlocked because we weren’t sent to VB. :-(

Necro: Have bought reaper so am able to use Greatswords. However every greatsword including the reaper one says ‘weapon type unusable by your profession’.

Fractal weapon merchant is missing, and no map rewards even though i stayed throughout an event and completed it?

I experienced the prologue bug, which seemed to right itself after I downloaded the entire patch.

hey there, i can´t finish the prolog of the story in silver wastes. whenever i come to the last green star/ check point before entering maguuma jungle, the game freezes and the ui disappears, cant even alt+tab out of the game. when i open the task.master, it shows gw2 as inactive and cant be closed.
i tried it with 2 characters, both are stuck at this point, i can´t even leave the story instance:(

Prologue bug is STILL not fixed. A response would be seriously awesome, just to give a heads up that it’s being fixed or they’re going to reset our progress or SOMETHING

Having an issue with “Torn from the sky” personal story instance. Cannot find any parts to salvage from the wreckage, even though I am in the “green circle” area.

This is a massive reduction — over 58%. I’m hoping this is a bug…

Still stuck on PROLOGUE, cannot proceed with masteries or anything. Please address this, i’m not the only one with this problem which basically stalls all progress.

Game crashed at Gather at the rally point leading into the Maguuma jungle. I cannot renter the prologue instance. I’m permastuck and can neither begin my masteries nor enter verdant brink. Please fix.

Same here. Finished the second mission and left the instance. Game closed automatically to update to the new build.

My character is now stuck in the Rallying mission but the mission objective remains as getting a mastery point to get the glider mastery, which I cannot complete.

Can’t interact with anything in that mission and the portal to Verdant Brink is blocked.

So before I do the prologue, currently at level 80 Rev, my Mistward armor collection is still locked, now I’m assuming it’s cause I haven’t done the prologue, I hope that is the case or maybe I’m not in verdant brink yet, otherwise I haven’t received anything to start on my Mistward armor collection.

Solved this: So it sticks you in a weird instance. You have to wp to somewhere not in the instance. Then from that you can return to the portal in the SouthWest of the SW and you should be able to zone into Verdant Brink.

Minor graphical issue really… but reflections don’t work like that.

Bug A: Using the jumppad from MF to TP glitches you spinning in the air unable to move every other try.

I bought Heart of Thorns this morning on DVD (I prefer a physical product) and installed it. When I go on Heart of Thorns and try to create a Revenant it’s dark and the game says "Upgrade to Heart of Thorns to unlock the revenant profession. So what do I need to do to upgrade my Heart of Thorns to Heart of Thorns? (not a mistake in that last sentence )

Revenant: Collection achievements are not unlocking for Mistward Armor when specializations are fully unlocked

I unlocked my Chronomancer in PVP lobby, I heard you’re supposed to get an achievement + chest with skins? I got neither.

I am unable to progress past the first mission on the HoT story. At first it Crashed my game a few times. Now it wont even show up at all.

Pheonix + Wildfire doesn’t stack might.

I have randomly experienced an issue where my character is ‘stuck’. my movement keys do not move my character (and no, I don’t have any conditions on me and i am out of combat). I know my WASD keys are working because they work in chat.

dodge rolling seems to fix this issue.

Was just coming to report the same, I unlocked berserker and tempest in LA and got the chests, logged on my thief and mesmer which were in Hotm, unlocked DD and chronomancer and didn’t get anything. After that I went to LA on my guard and got the chest when I unlocked dragonhunter there. Must be a bug?

I made the mistake of unlocking 2 of my elite specs (thief and elementalist) in the sPvP lobby, the line unlocked normally, but the exotic skin, the exotic item and the collection have not…

Purification (Dragonhunter’s healing skill/trap) doesn’t work with the trait Healer’s Retribution of the Radiance specialization. No Retaliation applied.

I now have two characters that are stuck in the Verdant Brink: game crashes on login.
Prologues were completed and I was simply exploring the map when the issue began. I’m afraid to take anymore characters into the map.

Trying to initiate the video for gather at the rally point leading into the Maguuma Jungle is bugged for me – it froze my game 5 times, and I can now not enter maguuma.

I completed the story mission “Torn From the Sky” in a friend’s group (it was his instance). I got completion for the event, but at the end of the mission, I was kicked back to an instance of “Rally to Maguuma”, with no button to exit the instance (had to WP), and then when I left the instance, I had not unlocked the waypoint in Verdant Brink.

I bought the game through the gem store. I have the armor skin box. The game is still locked. I cannot start the story. It is locked. I need assistance.

I have the same issue. Forced quit. When I hit play from the browser, go to black screen. Please help. Want to play:)

Cannot complete Prologue stuck after meeting with Cannach and Taimi. REally sucks because cannot unlock masteries without completion.

How about an official comment or update on this since it seems t pretty widespread and gamebreaking issue?

I also, just as many ppl out there it seems, experience this problem. I cant believe its that hard to add a restart button for that quest so all the ppl can finally reach verdant brink

Still can’t proceed my story quest in SW… Also still no achievement + chest for unlocking Druid spec. This is annoying AF!

As soon as the gw2 Heart of Thrones expansion went live this mission (Pact Assault – Point of No Return Living Story) has bugged out. When you are told to rescue people from the vine pods towards the end of the mission only two of the three are spawned. This was real unfortunate as I was getting my last achievement for the sinister amulet. Now i can’t complete the mission and therefore cant win the reward. This makes me a very sad panda. -_-

I’ve tried playing through this twice tonight with exactly the same problem. Only two of three modrem pods spawned leaving the player unable to complete and progress through the living story.

Maybe some aplogise from devs????

Finished the pro-log part (the very first mission, same mission from beta) and the game crashed after I hit leave mission door. Re-logged to find I cannot get back into the jungle at all, and I have no mission marker to go back into the jungle to start the main story. Please fix this bug soon. The new maps are blocked to me.

Just wanted to update this post with a work around: I waypointed out of the zone, and then I had access to the portal to the jungle.

The patcher has some issues with the last build: when is almost completed the download speed drops to zero! I tried to open and close it or to reset it somehow, but with no good results.

I got a message this morning saying that my Revenant would start in HoT at level 80. That is definitely paraphrasing because I was half asleep. Right now my Revenant is level 33 and that’s only because I boosted her myself when I saw she was level two.

Do I have to grind my way to HoT?

On locked issue. I tried a hard computer restart and was able to get into the prologue mission. However, as soon as the escort started I started seeing major skill lag and then everythign went to black again. Game not locked, but all black. Hear music theme, which though nice isn’t the same as playing.

Please resolve asap.

Both endbosses in the dredge-fractal do NOT get increased condition dmg when the boss has the superheated buff. In the patchnotes, however, it was stated that condition-dmg should scale up as well.

I can’t get back into the instance, it keeps telling me to “get to the rally point” but there’s no green star…

In the story content – like prologue instance, you have to improve the AI of our allies. Normally they dont attack, but only if the enemy attacks them or they get some damage from AOE. The enemy most of the times points at us (the players), so we may end up dead and our allies just watching us die…

the trick is to lure the enemy in our allies, in order for the to start supporting us… Or else they are not very responsive.
