The hero challenge you activate when you interact with the Coztic Itzel Belongings in Verdant Brink (in the canopy above the noble crash site) doesn’t spawn the minions, and so the challenge can’t be completed.

Scout Acan is bugged and won’t talk even after gliding to him several times. Several people are currently experiencing the same issue.

The rocks that fall down on the side of the ship in “Thorn from the sky” has no collision

32 bit client still crashing every 10 mins or so for some. I can play fine on 64 bit windows but my wife on 32 bit desktop windows crashes every 6 to 10 mins.

On Heart of Thorns Act 2 – Sign Cutting “Follow the path to Rox and meet up with the rest of your team” – Inspect the marking and Find Rox’s next marker is ticked off but it’s not progressing and I couldn’t interact with the last marker – either that or this is unclear and I have no idea what to do to progress my story.

Whenever I kill anything the game crashes when i have this feature turned on

bouncy chests are crashing the game for people who run the UI in anything but normal size. I usually run it in large, and if i click on a chest it instantly crashes the game.

Scout Acan still bugged. It seems the workaround by repeating episode 4 and siding with Tizlak does not work to change episode 5 either, so story progress is at a stand still. Very frustrating.

Prologue: Rally to Maguuma

This story have no replay button, but icon near it says “Replay for additional achievements” i know there is no achievements for Prologue but icon is not like icon near Season 1 History lesson icon, which still you can repeat a cinematic to remember what happened in Season 1.

But in my opinion Prologue: Rally to Maguuma should be also repeatable since its lore heavy and some players may want to remember it after some months without leveling a new character.

Game crashes after I freed Eir from her prison in Prisoners of the Dragon.

I redid this part of the story for three times now and all three times it crashes after I freed Eir from her prison. The story is not saved and brings me back out the instance, where I have to re-enter the instance and do it all over again, till it crashes.

I play on a Macbook Pro btw.

Any way to reset HoT story? cuz i played the prologue and the 2nd mission and after 2nd mission i got disconnected. And the problem now is that i automaticly get logged into the prologue and the door to the jungle is locked .

The event in the Auric Basin southern post (Southwatch?) where you follow Sage Vasanni to kill the Wyvern (eastern pylon) and on the way have to save Pact members who are stuck under the wreckage while the Wyvern breathes fire on you has a bug that makes the event much harder than it should be.

The mobs that spawn (raptors and rolling devils) gain a Superheated buff that should give them 50% attack speed and burning on their attacks. Instead, their buff acts just like the one the wreckages get, which puts a stack of burning on you every time YOU hit THEM.

I’ve tested it by attacking a single rolling devil while it was stunned so I’m 100% sure I wasn’t being attacked by anything else.

You can waypoint into structures you do not own in the new WvW borderlands. Ideally whoever owned the structure would own the waypoint, but at the very least I would expect the waypoint should be contested if an enemy owns the structure. As it is, you can bypass the walls and engage the tower or keep lord directly, removing nearly all of the tactical advantage of controlling these structures.

About the problem with ring and infusion not appearing in mystic forge window after being extracted: I took some other rings which are visible and crafted new infusions from the extracted ones, using both artificer and the option of the fotm supplier. Seems all of them are not visible in the mystic forge window and I lack AR now so I cannot proceed with higher fractals as planned. GG

All the new elite specialisations seem to cost hundreds of Hero Points to fully unlock. Surely this must have been a mistake?! Pls fix.

The game freezed thrice while I was playing Edge of Mists. It showed some graphic error and asked to report to Arena which I did all the time.

Otherwise the game works fine everywhere but it is only at Edge where the problem exist.

Sign Cutting, story quest 14 is broken. Find Rox’s first markings, Examine the marking, Follow Rox’s trail all completed. Now nothing happens. The quest indicator at the top right doesn’t know what to do either. Just literally blocked from continuing for no reason. GG ANET.

Once you defeat Modremoth and want to finish him, only the instance owner can do that.. Which makes it very inconvenient for group play in this instance…

Seems like there is a bug where the Astral Force deplete while out of combat, just like warrior’s adrenaline, and since you can’t enter Celestial Astral Form without full bar it seems like a terrible bug.

Yeah, I have a problem with HoT. I bought the game, applied the code to my account and when I log in, it tells me to buy the expansion to access the new zones or elite spec.

Considering I bought it in the first place through the launcher, and my account shows that it is HoT enabled online, I don’t see why in game it’s telling me to buy it again.

I’m in the “The Jungle Provides” LS mission, and I got up to the last Blighting Pod and destroyed it while fighting the Mordrem protecting it. Another wave spawned while I was fighting the remaining Guard. After I defeated everything there were no enemies left in the area but the final goal “Mordrem Guard Waves Remaining” still read “2/3”. I looked around everywhere but there’s nothing for me to do, my progress is blocked…

It’s a great big pain in my neck because it’s logging/ throwing me out but causing my game client to crash/ freeze. So I have to Force Quit the game then start all over again.

It’s incredibly frustrating because I am unable to train my masteries with the experience I would’ve earned in these events. Due to forcing me out for these unknown reasons, I do not gain any of the experience/ karma/ rewards, etc… I would’ve and should’ve gained from these events when I re-log in.

This sort of thing never happened before during similar events like in the silver wastes, etc… before I installed the HoT update.

It’s completely hindering my progress in the Jungle & whole Mastery thing. I actually like the new Mastery system and challenge it takes to unlock this new content so, I’m sure you can understand why I’m taking issue with this.

I had like 30 exe crashes in the last 20 minutes… every time I killed something my game crashed. I deactivated “autoloot : quick interact” and the problem seems to be solved. It only happened after I finally got Pakt Commander : Advanced Logistics (autoloot) …

just an update:2nd day of being unable to play HoT. the end of the prologue is still locking up the system. i can’t generate an in-game report on the lockup because it requires a forced power off of the computer to recover the system. this is also happening on my wife’s account(which is played on a different computer) is a fix for this coming? we spent 200$ on this.

Same. No crashes otherwise, no lag, plenty of memory. Trying to enter the scene screen instantly results in “Not responding” and necessary restart.

Unfreezes after a few min, dont minimise or touch it. May or may not work for you too.

It seems that the event “Rescue the captive sylvari from vigilantes” in Verdant Brink is bugged and isn’t appearing. The scout shows an area to go towards for this event, and there is nothing at that location. The event appears and disappears at random places in the map and there is nothing going on around when the event appears in our top right log. Has anyone else had this trouble with this event? Maybe the event roams the map and we couldn’t find it? The event is part of the Outpost: Pact Encampment event line.

We just completed the Gilded Guild Hall mission and only 5 can be in the guild hall at a time.

We have 60+ people trying to get to our Guild Hall and we can’t because the hall is full.

Does anyone know how to fix this???

Someone was saying the the Guild Hall instance grows with the number of people getting in. If that’s the case, it’s not working properly.

3 days now and everyone who got dc, crash, or left prologue cannot do any story mission because we are locked out of mission. Others are saying you can’t even repeat it. Come on anet this is a massive bug making the game unplayable. Sad I dropped $100 plus more on gems on hot.

Fear & Cripple broken in Maguuma

The vast majority of mobs in Maguuma do not respond to Fear or Cripple. Fear does not interrupt mob skills or drive them in the opposite direction of the caster. Cripple has zero slowing/limping effect on the vast majority of mobs. The mobs will get the fear debuff and take fear damage(if so traited), but the mob does not receive any of the crowd control. The mobs I can 100% confirm do this are the following so far; Veteran Xocotl Crusher, Champion Quenti the Quick, Adolescent Mordrem Wyvern, Veteran Nuhoch Crusher, Rampaging Champion Mordrem(Guard on back of dinosaur that charges and throws spears) and other members of the Mordrem Guard have this issue. I forgot to take screens for the guard, so I don’t have exact mob names. This leaves classes like the necromancer with no defense other than dodge. Please fix this as a lot of the spells are useless.

Pact Tyria mastery with auto-looting causing crashes frequently. I have heard several others expressing the same problem.

As posted elsewhere on the forums (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Missing-Quest-reward/5656332), I did not receive (or know if it went elsewhere) the Golden Buckle upgrade reward.
