Issue:
I lost 500 influence when the current update cancelled “Research Politics Level 1” and didn’t refund the cost. It shows in the History that it was started.
Now, I can’t earn any further Influence. I’ve tried buying drinks from the Guild Promoter, the Guild history shows activities being completed but the Guild’s Influence isn’t increasing from them.

i just finish que two skill the Research Architecture Level 2, and Guild Armorer Contract and after few min that was building it it disappear from the que and all the another members can’t see the que but in my brother computer he could see the que goin on

After 5 days our guild is back. Thnx for that.
But all influence we had is gone. Arround 3400, wich is a lot for a small guild like ours.
Is there anyway this can be restored??
I’m experience a similar issue as Infineeus.3726 – I had two upgrades (Guild Stash and Politics Level 1) queued, which have disappeared and no refund for these applied to the guild.

Summary: Economy lvl 3 was queued for 5000 IP, but disappeared after a day.
I am the Guild Leader for [awoo]. When I logged in today, we noticed that Economics 3 which was queued approximately a day ago had disappeared from the build queue. The IP history shows that it was queued correctly (and we did see it progressing earlier) but there is no indication that it was cancelled. The 5000 IP remains removed from the reserve.
i made the guild with one character (Ulqui Orrah) and used my tome of influence to add 1000 influence. but when i went to try and spend it on upgrades i discovered that the ADD button is greyed out. i clicked on the ranks tab and although i’m the leader the only check box that is ticked for rank privilidges is the EDIT RANK one and although this one looks like it is ticked yes i cant actually edit anything, and it wont let me tick any of the guild functions such as enabling anyone whatsoever in the guild to add upgrades to the build queue, or anything else at all. i tried creating a new rank but when i click save they just vanish, and i also cant promote any members either.
please help
i created my guild back in northern shiverpeaks server but when i changed server, my guild still exists but guild influence and upgrades all reset to 0 after the switch.
please look into this, thanks
That’s not a bug – that’s normal Guild behavior. Guilds are cross server, but influence and upgrades are all server-specific.
However . . . if you switch back to the original server, the influence is “as it was” before switching servers and all upgrades previously purchased show up in the guild tab . . . BUT . . . they don’t actually exist and you can’t re-purchase them (because it says you already have them).
Its as if there is code that says:
Line 1: IF guildleader changes server, THEN influence & upgrades = 0 on NEWserver
which conflicts with . . .
Line 2: Influence & Upgrade stay same on OLDserver (for those left behind).
. . . so if the Guild Leader comes back, line 1 conflicts with line 2.

Noone can access guild storage except me (has been like this for a few days).
I have also had trouble editing permissions, but a quick relog usually sorts that.
Often when I had something in the build queue, I could not see it without relogging, but today even that does not work – so I have no idea if current research will show up again, or if we are out the Influence (and to be honest I could have sworn I had set Politics Level 2 to research once before, which could mean we are out 2000 Influence)

Made personal guild for banks (extra storage) on two accounts-
Guild created on Isle Server- alt from sanctum server invited and joined, both accounts used tome of influence, neither were credited, leader on isle server unable to set member permissions but could create president and vice president positions, althought still unable to edit them or assign positions. And, since influence not credited, unable to queue builds to create the banks on each server. Tkt sent on main account tome issue.

I am finally receiving influence for world events were ever I am. I am not receiving Renown influence, if we are supposed to. Wiki: “2 Influence.png for individual guild members completing an event” I completed Ojon’s Lumbermill and did not receive influence for it. Guild Log "Members completed 5 activities earning 10 influence. " It does not count the 6th activity of Ojon’s Lumbermill.
I am a Guild Leader of a guild of 4. I only have permission to “Edit Ranks” and nothing else can be modified, No Promotion/Demotions/Upgrades are unclick-able
I cannot modify my own Rank to give me these permissions.

No upgrades currently because I have no powers as the guild leader. All I can do is create new ranks but not edit them. I just noticed this problem when I burned through 2 gold to buy my guild influence, only to find out I can’t do anything. I hope I get to keep my influence if this is fixed.
Further details:
One peculiar thing that I noticed but did not dwell on… Do you see the Star shaped Insignia for all member ranks? That was there by DEFAULT. Whereas in another guild I own (but have no problems with), all the ranks have different symbols by default. If this helps identify the issue for the developers and/or proves to be a warning system to others, good.
I bought some drinks to raise influence in my guild i wasted about 70 silver and when i went to check how much influence i had my influence didn’t even change so i just wasted 70 silver

I also just came across this issue. I queued Architecture level 2 last night around 20 hours ago. I just log in and the upgrade shows no queue and the 1000 influence that was used hasn’t been refund etc.

I used a Letter of Commendation (after receiving it in the “Retribution” story line) for 400 influence for my guild but it did not appear to work after double-clicking on it. If someone could check into this, I’d appreciate it greatly. Thanks!
I used a 1000 commendation scroll for finishing my story quest, and I received credit towards my influence achievement,but the guild did not receive the influence.
Same problem here, I’m the leader of my guild, and I do not have permission to edit guild ranks, promote/demote players, edit message of the day, claim WvW towers, etc.

I’m the leader of my guild, and I do not have permission to admin lower ranks, queue upgrades, promote/demote players, edit message of the day, claim in WvW, etc.
My Guild is Blue Lion [ BuLn] We have been partied and playing in events for a good total 20+ events but our Guild influence does not move when I log in.
Me, the guild leader every time I log in the Influence stops gaining.
I did switch servers once then back to Dragonbrand.
Ive been unable to join Sobrero Party(SP), The Wayward Brotherhood (TWBH), or Quaggan Conservation Society(QCS) on Crystal Desert. I joined sobrero party several days ago and it has been stuck on my invite list since then. I cant even accept the invite if move zones or go to WvW.
From the past few days it seems i cant accept a new guild invite at all, so im not sure if its my char that is buggy or what.
We have enough influence to upgrade but it seems I as guild leader am not able to select the upgrades. Also it seems like the ability to edit ranks and rank up the players has all been grayed out and I’m unable to do so. I have also used the tome of influence and it did not give us any of the influence.

Guild influence gain has frozen at 627. A guildie and myself have run several dynamic events today and the last logged guild influence was 18 hrs previous to our current play(from when we played last night).
Update: This only appears to happen in Dredgehaunt Cliffs. Other zones, grouping and doing dynamic events seems to work fine.

I clicked my 400 influence commendation from the story quest and the amount did not increase. I then tried to purchase the “drinks on the house” item from the guild
promoter and still no influence was gained.
My guild, injustice on sorrow’s furnace bugged out a few days ago…we werent very far from getting the guild stash. We are as yet a small guild still..not sure if we get the guild unbugged will we come back with our same influence and upgrades or will we have to start over..
We lost guild workshop from the queue. It’s in our history that we queued it, and it charged us, but it disappeared from the build queue. Prettykitten off quite frankly, since we had to start over with our guild upgrades when we transferred servers.
yesterday arround 10:00pm to 3:00am (i dont remember the “exact” time) me and my friend give some influence to our guild, i user 2 crolls from quest and endgame content that give some influences(one of 1,000 and other of 400).Arround the same time my friend (his nick is femto and his account is Epilef.5132) used one tome of influence (from the deluxe edition) to gain another 1,000 of influence, and none of the tome/scrolls give influence to our guild! the total amount that have to be given is 2,400!! and we dont see it in guild managemand window, other thing is that the qeue from my upgrades was empty! any solution?
Im the leader of a small guild (8 players) and i can’t manage it. In the Ranks tab, every option is grayed out, and the only option checked for the leader rank is Edit Ranks, i can’t change any options.
The only things i can do is invite people, change the ranks names, icons, and create new ranks.
I can’t edit the ranks, can’t create a message of the day, we got 600+ influence points but I can’t buy upgrades or anything else.
We have a guild emblem and unlocked guild armor. All ranks have permission to display the emblem, but when anyone in our guild talks to the guild armor NPC (while representing our guild, of course) the NPC says we don’t have permission to display the emblem.
When we first unlocked the guild armor we could buy it and wear it, so it used to work but sometime in the last 2 weeks it has stopped working for people who want to buy it. Very odd!
Created a new guild on Northern Shiverpeaks server called “Sanctus Bellatorum”. I’m unable to do anything with the guild administration screen. No editing ranks, promoting members, adding ranks can’t even set a message of the day.
Guild still seems to be missing, sorry if I missed any posts about this, but I thought Anet had found a fix for this. I’m just really saddened by this because I can’t communicate with my guildies unless we’re in a party, and that limits us to only 5 people. Hope this gets fixed :/
Just to keep you guys updated, I’ll be working on this problem tomorrow and trying to find out why the remaining guilds haven’t returned. I’ll let you know how things are going.

I am facing the same problem. Is there some sort of requirement to unlock these permissions or is this a bug?

I used the 400 influence Letter of Commendation from the Personal Story quest but my guild did not get the influence. I was in the Lion’s Arch overflow at the time if that makes any difference.

Our Guild Stash went missing today, NPC says we don’t have one yet. The Stash upgrade is still showing in our upgrades list. It had some items in it, I hope we get that stuff all back!
Update: I was able to access the guild stash with one of my alts, my main character still can not access the stash. Her name is Cellestia.
I have listed this in the general bug forum but will do it here also so that it may be fixed a bit faster. The drinks for guild is not giving the guild the influence. Another person posted the same as I did. Also, at level 80 I get zero influence for doing events. If that is intended then that should be changed. The Karma is nice but I also want the Influence which we should receive since we are all dumbed down to participate.
