I am in my guild council (DIRTBAGS) and the guild tab says i have full promotion I am unable to get any options when i click on players’ guild icons, and therefore cannot promote nor kick lower rank members. Any help would be appreciated.

I am having an issue with my guild option. I cannot seem to promote other guild member and cannot delete old ranks that are no longer used and the rank I have should allow me to do so but for some reason I can’t.

I transferred my guild to the new server a week or so ago and all was well but I login today and all influence and upgrades have been wiped ? Is this normal for server transfers ?

guild (Raider) tag (rai) problem all research level 2 gone guild bank gone witch was all most full guild armory gone we are also missing 3 vault transports and guild workshop world is Yak’s Bend and i think that covers it. Last week i was in the world edon terrance that might be the problem?

Influence/upgrades do not transfer when you move servers. For example, if you are on Server X with a full guild vault and move to Server Y, you won’t have access to the shared storage on X anymore (unless you move back). When you build storage on Server Y, it will be an entirely separate vault. (Yes, I agree that this is non-intuitive and annoying, but that’s how it’s designed.)

We don’t get any influence for a part of a personal storyline but the German and English Wiki says the following:
2 Influence for individual guild members completing an event or part of a personal storyline. (The per-player influence gained increases substantially with each new participating guild member.)
20 Influence for two guild members completing an event or part of a personal storyline at the same time.

But we get nothing for the part of the storyline since the beginning of our guild. This means that there are many points missing.

Is there someone who has this problem too? Or could someone help me and knows where the problem is?

All of the wikis are written by other players, not by ANet, Much of the text was originally written based on piecing together quotes from ANet blogs, dev interviews, and by testing during the BETA Weekend Events. However, many details have changed in the live game, including some of the mechanics for how guilds earn and spend influence.

In other words, it’s possible that the wikis are out of date and the information needs to be revalidated.

After building some guild consumables (2 of each) – Vault Transport & 3 different banners, the list in the guild tab only reflects that we had build 1 of each.

Hey, Our Guild had two things in the build Que, and after the patch they were deleted and the IP was not refunded. Is anything going to be done about this?

I started the build yesterday and the History tab shows it was started 21 hours ago but it is not in the queue now and nothing is noted in the History to indicate anything happened to it: it simply isn’t there. The influence is still gone however. We’re a very small guild ( 3 members) so the missing influence is a huge loss. I hope this can be remedied.

I noticed my pet had an empty guild abbreviation by its name so I closed the game and logged back in. My guild build queue appears to have returned now as well as the pet’s label correct. Hopefully just relogging will be the answer for everyone who’s having this problem.

my guildwars2 keep on crashing , a popup said it has lost connection to server or mine connection, but my internet connection is still fine, cause i was on skypecall the whole time will in game and the the skype call is still on when the game crash, it will do this every 15min or so, please help

Hi,I want the guild infulence points and upgrade to move to other server as well.. cuz if my guild wanna move all to other server,we dont wanna start from scrath.. I dont understand why each guild on every server has their own infulence and upgrade thats just wrong… we all wanna move to some server with our language and we cant do that because our guild infulence and upgrades are stays on old S;

Guild history shows build started yesterday – today there’s nothing in the queue, influence is at 202 and politics is still level 1.

(Tried reporting this using the in-game bug tool, but there’s no category for guild issues or anything close to it.)

Item was placed in the build queue yesterday before the patch, I got on today and the upgrade I had put into build was no longer listed. The IP cost had not been refunded either. Not only is this a loss of 5k faction, some of which came from scrolls but also the loss of build time. Please resolve the issue, thanks.

I mailed support about missing influence back on October 1st. I didn’t know about this thread or I would have posted here too. A few nights before that I purchased the 1,000 Guild Influence for 2g in Lion’s Arch. I believe it was “drinks on the town.” I did not receive influence for the PiNiON guild on Maguuma, nor did I receive an item to grant it. I filed a ticket in-game an hour after this happened.

I still have not seen the influence. Can I either have it or my 2g back?

Hi I was getting the Research Architecture 2 upgrade and it had around 3 hours left before the Halloween act 3 started.

Now its stopped and the game is acting as if I never started it, I am now down an upgrade and 1000 reputation points.

Can somebody tell me if I can have it restarted or at least my reputation points back please?

Switching chars does nothing, I cannot even see the “management” tab they speak of on the wiki.

Several weeks have passed with several patches but no guild leader fix and we don’t hear anything from Anet about the guild bugs.

Playing Wars 2 is fun, because I’m totally blocked from the Guild part, can you fix it Arena, I’m missing out on a lot of things.

Two 1,000-point letters of commendation were used in my guild over a month ago and the influence was never credited to the guild. The items were consumed and just disappeared. I submitted a support ticket when the incident occurred. It’s rather embarrassing that this has still gone unaddressed.

I haven’t been able to see or use my guild chat since the mad king update today, please help I’ve logged out, switch characters, stopped representing then began representing again, nothing is working!

Hi, new guild bug: can’t invite members cause the roster results full, we are 63 members and last week were more than 70 so i think i’ts not roster full but just a bug, please help fast we need to invite some members!

Problem solved, the player had too many guild invites.

Small bug: a couple weeks ago (just before Halloween started, I think), I activated the checkbox in the Members section of my guild to show players’ crafting levels.

Since then, I have not been able to deactivate it. When I click the checkbox to remove it, the ranks don’t disappear from the roster, and when I close the menu and reopen it, the checkbox has automatically re-checked itself.

All the other checkboxes seem to work just fine. Just the crafting one is broken. And this is persistent over multiple logins.

Although I am not the leader of my guild, we created an equal rank in which I would all of the abilities of a leader. Being the only person in this created rank I’ve discovered that I no longer have the abilities that are all checked except for new members. I can only demote myself to another created rank that is already existing. I can also only edit the other created rank. The staple ranks, Leader, Officer, Member are completely outside of my ability to promote to, demote to or manipulate on any level.

After the most recent update a few moments ago I can’t access my guild chat. When I type in the Guild channel it says “You are not in a Guild”. However, I can see myself as “online” on my Guilds roster. It’s on all characters accross my account.

My problem: Influence points gathered
Server: Flussufer (Riverside)

I did not try to catch all the event points. I just took the log-in-points because thats the points that I can compute.
I have 9 characters on my account. All of them enter the game daily at least once. But most of the time I only receive a maximum of 50 points (for 5 characters only). Since September 1 until today I lost 2,920 influence points in failed logins alone.
I thought it was limited to 5 per account, because there have been a maximum of 5 characters per account from the start. But on October 28 I received 60 points for the first time (since then that did not happen again).
Most of the time it is 5 characters that will be accounted for, but sometimes 4 characters are given and very seldom the limit is 3.

All characters represent the guild. Most of the time the influence points are given for the first characters that enter the game. Sadly this is not always the case.
I don’t have any clue, what rule might be influencing my influence counter.

I did not have any other guild problem yet. Only the influence.

Same thing happened to me. When I relog’d last night after the patch it said I wasn’t in a guild when I tried to guild chat. When I opened the guild window it said I wasn’t in one as well. When I went to character select however it said I was.

Relog’d in again immediately and I was able to access my guild window and queue features as a guild leader, but have yet to be able to see or use /guild chat.

After the update last night the guild history info vanished and I could not earn Influence from events(when I logged in this morning I discovered that I’d been earning it but not receiving it, and it had come in at some point during the night). For the early part of the day I was able to gain Influence as normal and everything seemed fine, then at some point this afternoon it stopped recognizing Influence earned from events again.

My other guild, Cerulean Knights, seems to be working fine and can still gain Influence (from events at least, I haven’t tried other sources for fear of wasting money)

Edit: I checked this morning and this time I have not received the back Influence earned by my guild since it stopped yesterday. Still gone and newly finished events do not give Influence either.

Edit 2: Just noticed that at some point in the last hour or it registered the attendance check, and added a line to the history saying 5 members logged in 11/7/12 for 50 Influence and then gave me 10, from 470 to 480 >.< (Still missing the event Influence too)
I realize this is an old thread, but it did say to post here, am I barking up the wrong Sylvari? :P

Edit 3 (11/8/12): Still not working, still haven’t received the previously earned Influence. It’s not a ton, only around 50-80 (I’m not sure at what point exactly it stopped but that’s a decent guesstimate), but for a single user guild that’s 25-40 events and every time I represent and do an event to see if it’s working that’s even more Influence in limbo, or worse gone completely.

I made a new guild to find the “Crafting” display toggle checkbox in the Roster options doesn’t work.
