I got back in for several hours, but now I’m out again.

However, my brother who has the same spec PC, on the same world server using the SAME internet connection is currently playing GW2 fine. :S

Apparently I’m appearing as online then offline in the game – according to what bro can see. So it’s logging me in to some degree – just can’t get to next bit.

Having the same issue. Eu server. At one point I did manage to log in but I had the social bug where I cannot see guild members or communicate with them or in a party.

Been good for a 1 hour. But i had some party issues like invitation and party display, also lagging in the game.

Also i have problems with site, loads very slowly.

I’m also seeing the log-in errors being posted …4103 & …4105 on Desolation.

I’m wondering if it’s to do with the ‘forced password change’ they were talking about. It’s six months after launch, some people can log-in using different accounts on same computer.

Double post due to “502 – Web server received an invalid response while acting as a gateway or proxy server.”
If P/W change is ‘due’ every three months (or 90 days) the issue may not affect everyone.

Just checked and my wife can run the game on her computer without problems, we are in the same network with exact the same hardware spec. When I try to login to my account using her computer I get the same error as on my computer.

How come it only effects european players?

First day playing GW2, rubbish frame rates in the first 10 min set up session then no log in. Please tell me this is not usual as am mightily peed off at spending a load of cash on two pwetty drinks coasters.

Been over 4 hours for me…thinking i may spend some time on the sims 3………

It is obviously not a technical issue but they are deliberatly blocking accounts from logging in. This is the only explanation for people being able to connect and others not while they are in the same room. They probably have a reason to do so but I am slowy getting very annoyed by this “method” of handling the issue.

Playing from Germany on the US Server Sanctum of Rall … i Do occasionally manage to login to the game … except my Guild shows up as having only a single member (me) … and parties don’t seem to work properly either.

traceroute for guildwars2.com seems to break up about 3 (ip-address only) hops after it reaches *.Dallas1.Level3.net. On top of that this is the first time ever i have seen ping claim it’s received 3 DUPs for every ping sent out.

I’d say something is funky with routing out there across the big pond .. which seems to cause problems for us playing from Europe.

Getting same error code (Error Code:42:0:9001:4105) and can’t log in. Weird thing was playing for like 2 hours, logged out for 30 mins, tried to log in again and get this. Also people in game are talking about the trading post not working and guild chat not working either.

I have been playing this since a month after it came out and this is the first time I have had a serious problem. Minor ones have been sorted very quickly and the customer service I have had had been so far really good. Hope this doesnt put you off playing. Its a great game

Hello guys!

I found a solution to the problem.
Go to GW2 installation folder, and delete 2 files: Gw2.tmp and Crash.dmp.
That should help.
