Please can someone explain to me how Adrenal Health works?
It’s not clear from the description in the game or in the wiki and discussions I’ve found about are ancient (and probably when it used to be have differently).
The description says that you get 3 stacks, which last 15 seconds, when you use a full adrenaline bar:

It also says it ticks every second for 2475 healing. Is this 2475 healing per stack, over 15 seconds, so 495 health per second at 3 stacks? Or does this work differently?
I’m looking at a build like this (melee glass cannon build I’ve added some survivability to at the expense of maybe 20% damage):

and don’t want to drop my 180 precision signet of fury at the start of each fight, so have substituted healing signet with “to the limit” (which I can use at the start of a fight), but want to make sure I’m not losing any passive healing as a result.

I think you’re right. Did a few tests and different “on swap” sigils trigger every time, whereas the same one twice only triggers every other swap.
Please can someone explain to me how the cooldown works on sigils that trigger on weapon swap?
When you can only swap every 9 seconds it’s irrelevant, but warrior can swap every 5 seconds, so if I put superior sigil of energy on both my weapon sets would each sigil have its own cooldown or would they share it (meaning I won’t get a trigger if I swap too fast)?
Also, does it share the cooldown with other on swap sigils? If I use a sigil of battle on one set and energy on the other, will I get both buffs by swapping every 6-8 seconds?

Also, are there any decent warrior builds around at the moment that don’t use berserker? You can’t test elite specs in the 80 boost trial
Okay, warrior sounds good – I’ll try it out!
I actually wanted to play warrior originally when I started GW2, but I chose a guardian instead, thinking they would have access to greater healing and support. But as I said, traps are not for me and elite specs are basically a must – plus I hated the low vitality.
Went onto necro next, enjoyed that a lot, but (playing as a condition-precision-toughness scepter/staff reaper) found the amount of damage I could put out is unsatisfyingly low. Didn’t really want to go full glass viper either.
Maybe warrior will be for me!?
I’ve also considered ranger, but since their elite spec is druid, how good is their damage?
Yeah? I hadn’t thought about them because everyone keeps trashing them on the forums (particularly the PvP ones). Saying how anet has abandoned their development and left them performing worse than any other class.

Since the free level 80 boost came out, I’ve been thinking: What’s the best profession for me?
Really, I don’t know! I suppose I don’t have enough experience or understanding of the professions to know – and to be honest I’d rather not spend hours trying out different builds and weapon sets on every profession in the test environment to find out. I don’t mind trying out a few different professions/builds/weapons, but a little direction first would be nice…
My dream character would be one which:
Does good damage (without extremely long cooldowns)
Isn’t TOO easy to kill (not looking for a glass cannon)
Doesn’t rely on the enemy running through/staying on an area to receive damage (not a fan of wells or traps)
Doesn’t have loads and loads of moves I need to learn how to use and combo (like ele’s 4 skill bars instead of 2)
Is able to perform well in all game types (sPvP, WvW groups or roaming, Fractals and other PvE content)
Can you help???

So they’re a “very rare” reward from the black lion chests now – wouldn’t have thought that’d have such a major impact on their price – they’re still really hard to get!!

Please can someone explain to me why chaos skins have suddenly dropped in price since the patch? And I mean they’re now less than 1/4 of their price yesterday morning.
It would make sense to me if there was a fresh, cheap, source of them but from what I can tell they’re actually harder to acquire now than pre-patch (since the black lion weapon people no longer sell them).
What’s going on??? I’ve got one I was going to sell, but if I’ll only get 90g for it, I’d rather keep it (they look cool after all).

I see the problem now… it’s not 34 random exotics, it’s the 34 specific exotics which wold cost me about 400g to buy… yeah that’s a little steep for how useful that converter would be :-/
Oh well, guess I’ll just have to hope I get lucky wth chests to get the WXP boosters.

Is it possible to unlock the skins from TP then re-sell them? How would I unlock, by equipping or breaking down for crafting parts or some other way?
Couldn’t I just buy 34 exotic weapon skins for that achievement? Many are under 1G on the trading post.
I don’t know ANYTHING about ley-energy… would I need that currency to be able to exchange daily? I don’t know what the Dragon Stand meta is…

I saw that they were available from converter-things. Is that something I could access? How would I do that?
What I’ve picked up so far is that following the commander in EotM is probably the fastest way, making sure you’ve always got a 50% exp booster.
Would you agree with that?
If so, how do I get hold of 50% boosters?
Otherwise, is there a way (other than the now non-existant laurel route) to buy WXP?

Please can someone tell me what the current fastest way is to earn WvW rank?
From my research, all the information is months or years old. The most frustrating thing I’ve found is that you used to be able to buy a WvW rank for 2 laurels and 50 badges of honor. That would be PEFRECT for me, but I can’t see that as an option from the laurel vendor anymore.

Solid state drives are AMAZING. The difference in performance on everything your PC does, from startup to shutdown and every action between, is absolutely staggering.
In terms of gaming performance, that’s actually an area where it makes less of a difference (other than speeding up loading screens) but you’ll regret it if you go for a laptop with a hard disk drive (I certainly do – feels like a piece of junk even though it’s got an i5 and 6gb RAM).
Also, it IS possible to switch it out afterwards, but usually switching the C drive on a laptop is a massive pain.
3 bars in Flame Ram, max Siege Might, 4 bars in Supply Master, max Build Master, max Repair Master and Siege Bunker is what I would start with.

You are correct. In the chest for my rank 6 reward, I got a chest of the mists, which contained 8 “proof of heroics”. How lucky was that!?
Hopefully you get a chest of the mists for every level you go up in WvW rank – if so then roll on EotM!
Now I’m just a bit confused about where all the EXP I’m getting (that doesn’t go to rank) is going (since I’m lv80). Is it going towards a mastery – if so, which?

Hi all
I’m very new to WvW, in fact I played my first game today. I played because I wanted to try a different way to get hero points for a change and I read that you can get ‘proof of heroics’ coins from chests which you’re rewarded when you level up (your WvW level).
Unfortunately, this didn’t happen for me. I leveled up 5 times and got lots of chests but all the chests just contained the ‘badge of honor’ currency and I think some gold and random green/blue gear.
Am I doing something wrong? Do you only get the hero point chests when you’re above level 100 or something?
Any help much appreciated!!!
This is an amazing idea – would really help see when conditions are annoying and when they’re deadly.
