Recently i leveled my mesmer (whitout hero point for chrono yet) and i have to say that i like so much this character, but i think its a bit difficult in pve because he has a very low damage and this make me feel useless when i am doing solo.

I’m right or its only i didn’t have the chrono spec?

How the elementalist D/W can survive on fractal/raid with only 12k hp and light armor?
Maurauder can be a posibility?
Or simple stay away in the fight?

Is the ele worth it or is better the thief?
And the other classes are near to both in DPS?

I want to main a class but i still cant decide, i have warrior, thief, guardian, elementalist at 80 and a engi at 50 but i still cant decide because all of them i like but all have disvantages.
I want a good PVE and decent PVP char, based on good/high direct damage and very versatile.

First of all, I didnt play this game for 2 years and now i want to return and level a char from lvl 1, but i dont know which of all.
I have thief, war and guardian at 80 and i something good at pve, i dont like so much the pvp.

My problem is that i love the engineer class but i hate the condition builds.
Is viable a power prec and (other stat) build with grenades and what weapons?
