Hello , I set up auto detect for graphics and for shaders I get low as autosetup with a new r9 390 , w10 , crimson last driver . Is this normal ? If I set it on best appearence when I move I get alot of flickering tearing pixelation in grass and some in trees also very few textures flixker in npc’s .
If I deactivate ambient oclusion half of the bad flickering in grass is gone . I’m experiencing same flickering with my ex 6870 also .
So why low shader ?
And why so much flickering ?
I remember about 6 months now the game was working very well .

Well, guilds should have a much bigger role in w vs w , the game name demands it, even the coat of arms is a joke . There is no motivaton other than to have a good fight sometimes , if you find a worthy enemy.
There should be a link between Tyria lore and wvsw land, fortifications should be kept more taking in consideration that some players upgrade them for 4 hours and a blob tales them in some minutes.
I want to see my enemy names in w vs w. I want to make a real coat of arms . I want 100 towers , each owned by a guild with complex economy.
Why are we fighting at all…… Same question that I thought … No engine to spin the wheel

Battle standard is most used for the team boons you would get. With 100 % increased boon duration , one warrior would give fury and swiftness for 130 seconds and would keep 6-7 stacks of migh for 20 seconds constant to nearby alies in a fierce fight.
65 second / 3 seconds = 21,6 × 3 seconds fury/swift x2 from boon= 130 seconds
With 100 % boon duration, skill 2 whirlwind banner would give 6 seconds of stability with a 15 seconds cooldown, although using this skill will need to lock character on ground/position.

If you are refering to the warrior here http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Warrior , yes it’s caduceus manor dungeon armor but unfortunately it doesn’t reflect the same armor, the picture is more of a prototype. Although I like the noble armor from caduceus it’s not shining as the armor weared by guards and captains in claypol town or divinity reach. It has more of a weared armor design . Pitty we can’t have the shiny one, even the prototype one and the guardian helmet from concept art also shoul be subject to player voting. But then we would get something tooo nice in the devs concept probably.
I have between 3500 and 3900 toughnes as warrior in wvsw and play small group fights 5 vs 5 or 15 vs 15 , I wouldn’t lower it more than 3500.
This is the damage formula so you make a view :
weapon strenght (ascended sword has 950-1050) x power(let’s say 2000) x skill specific coeficient (sever artery has 0.6 http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Sever_Artery ) / all / target armor ( let’s say target has 3000)
If you don’t score a critical hit , the damage you will do to a 3000 armor will be : 1050×2000×0.6/3000 = 420
In case you crit you will do 1.50 x 420 = 630 ( in case you have standard critical damage of 150%)
Also I think you can get an average of target armor if you use this math like in http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Damage
“Direct damage is listed on skill tooltips with the Damage icon. Skill tooltip direct damage is given by the following formula:
Tooltip damage = (average weapon strength) * Power * (skill-specific coefficient) / (level-based Armor value)”
Move in game mouse over tooltip of weapon skill while targeting and you will see it changes from target to target.
So , finaly , yes more armor is better, also mobility, etc …etc

My main character is a noble Human Warrior blesed by the first God Dwayna. For me , a human fits perfectly as a warrior in service of Divinity’s Reach Crown. Best textured heavy armor + newest dye+perfect fit shows my human as an imposing warrior. Just choose wise armor and weapon skins , colors.
I see all the other classes as warriors , it just depends how you create the character, the name, the personality that you confer further threw skins, etc
Well i would pay more for a noble armor that shines like the ones weared by seraphs in claypool town. The one bought with tokens has war marks.
Also I would pay more if the juggernaut effect on armor would last after weapon switch in combat.
I like CM. I do it for Nobleman’s armor and greatsword skin for my warrior. Also there are many tricks you can use.
I love the armor. It will be enhanced by juggernaut soon . I find the winged helmet awesome. I have more for every spec.
Have you thought that maybe so that a legendary would be the value of a legendary , developers are keeping precursors at a % of the people in guild wars or /server .
Like they will give 0,001 % of population the chance to have a legendary , some will keep it , some will sell it.

I would give 11/10 for jugernaut if he would keep the armor effect when weapon swapped although he could be at the cost of eternity
Maybe make a legendary hammer that displays liquid armor at every swap and make it as hard to get as eternity greatsword.

It would be great if the armor would be covered in liquid metal each time we swap weapons with one slot equiped as Juggernaut.
I think it can be done either by beeing available free or for 10 seconds or etc…
There is a big difference in effect for a warrior to swap liquid armor swap ugly difference armor swap liquid armor swap again the ugly armor …etc
The difference is too big , every 5 seconds I feel like I’m playing 2 characters the same time.

Went in game and done some tests , it works as intended , just misunderstood probably . I know difference between critical chance , precision and critical damage multiplier , np on that .
66-67 % critical chance would mean a higher chance per attack to get a critical or 2/3 of the attacks would get critical ?

Does critical chance affect damage in damage formula or only the chance to land critical in one weapon swing ?
Because when I change critical chance in gw2buildcraft.com , the damage changes aswell.

I’m touched . None of guild wars support team has given an opinion regarding runes and sigil stacking .
People , will you fix it ? How many are playing your game ? It’s not like there are 1000 people only .
If you don’t fix it , will you mention somewhere that this runes don’t work for stacking ?
What I can say is that this burning build brings me every zerg/zerg encounter 4-5 badges with about 10.000 damage as aoe if targets stand in same spot for 8 seconds .
I really have fun with it , also it’s hard for enemy to build and ram the gate while I apply about every 8 seconds in wvsw .
I know it’s not the best build for warrior but it has a spot in wvsw sieges .

From my opinion , a game shouldn’t be released with such bugs , as it shatters the confidence of players and also makes players to waste time like this example acquiring gold and spend it on runes that don’t work.
Does 2 runes of Balthazar , Flame Legion and Baelfire stack for 45 % burning ?
I have bought all this runes 2 2 2 and my combustive shot seems it isn’t affected by them . +45% burning
Also Superior sigil of smoldering seems it doesn’t work.
Testing with 637 condition damage , 50% incresed condition duration (40% food and 10% strenghth) it gives (0.25 × 637) + (4×80) +8 = 487.25
Total burning shot at 5 pulses each of 3 second (only this I could got , runes and sigil don’t stack don’t know why ) i got 7309 burning / 487.25 = 15 (as pulse 5 x burning duration 3 secons)
So , … when will these runes and sigil be working ???

I will try it wit 2 runes of forge , balthazar and baelfire for 45 % increased burning. Also i will invest in 6 guardian runes for burning on block. I think it would have effect when fighting a zerg .
The build is made especialy for burning but bleeding can put a target at ground in some seconds. I use sword mainly for mobility and shield to survive and escape any zerg .
The build works great in sieges forcing enemy to use catapults which are slower than rams. Also when pushing a zerg it gets a great number of badges . All is based on the burst burning skill that at level 3 adrenaline will burn for 8 seconds with 5 pulses of burning , every pulse stacking 2seconds + codition duration of burning.
I might change also to toughnes , precision, condition damage armor in the end , just testing now. Trinkets that I use now aren’t exotic as difference in condition damage is small – see build .
Just using a longbow build and I can say that badges are flowing . Over 10000 burning damage with rare vegie pizza , no ram will ever be built while I’m in tower. Also skill 5 now after update brought some hundred kills , only by increasing bleeding by 50% in precision line tree.
As a melee I find warrior incredible for w vs w , just adjust your skills and keyboard so you react as fastest as you can and use mobile strike.

Very strong , i applied it to a guardian twice and chased him all map on wvsw , 15k in about 20 seconds with 6 stacks . It was an epic chase I could say .
Unfortunately I had po vi condition gear and couldn’t kill him faster , with pr to condition it would have been fast death .
What happens is when i have no skill spent pin down shows I can apply 6 stacks of bleeding. When I put 10 points in Tactics – IV Stronger bowstrings, pin down has only one stack of bleed . There is no explanation on pin down , is it happenig to you or is a bug ?

The cold truth about warrior is that it’s a struggle to handle it and master it but at the end when all the pieces come together enemies lie on the battleground . My warrior it’s a blast and when I score I get all the fun.
Now, it’s like any specialization , If all could do it wouldn’t be named specialization no ?
Also wiki states that WvW is designed to accommodate players that would not normally participate in PvP , so speaking about warrior in WvW wouldn’t be the same as spvp.
Also in WvW there are stacks of variables….
I just find my Krytan warrior as my best …. for me.

True , Condition damage does not worth it. I’m speaking from w vs w perspective sword + shield. I used power, vitality and condition damage for my build but it doesn’t work in w vs w . Until I apply the bleeding I get killed , instead works nice with burning provided by longbow , in sieges defending/attacking it gets some damage done. I have managed to stack about 1400-1500 condition damage on my build , but I will have to use my favourite shield skin , krytan shield on other stats, on other build if I want to provide a warrior for my group.
I hadn’t tried one with toughness power precision for sword shield , I know that 3rd attack on sword skill 1 hits hard , but axe shield should do it in case of more damage request . I’m referring to critical chance/critical damage build .
All is from w vs w view.
What is the real cooldown for sigil of blood as wiki seems confusing . 2 or 5 seconds ?
So with axe skill 5 it would heal in first 2 seconds from 5 targets and then it would trigger again ? I believe this would be the right math …
Shinki , all 3 are noble indeed but only as form .
The design differs if you take a closer look . The sergeant armors differ from the noble armor that we can buy . They look the same but they have a difference in aspect .

Indeed , a black or darker dye would resolve the problem .
Unfortunately I wanted to combine T3 human chest and leggings with helmet, gauntlets , pauldrons and boots from noble + silver/gray or a steel dye (i don’t know what dye Sergeants use ) to obtain the effect of the Sergeants armor .
Unfortunately this can’t be done with gray hue as it won’t look the same because of the noble armor design (the armor was created to express a warrior that fought some battles in his life ) .
It would have been nice from anet to make available also the clean copy of noble armor . Maybe there are other players that wish to make some combination as anet provided to Sergeants.
I remember from gw1 that I and others liked armors that only NPC’s had , pitty that in gw2 in some cases the idea remained .
As a warrior I want the best looking armor for my character design . I’m speaking about noble armor bought with seals of beetletun .
I’m very disappointed as atleast for Humans you can’t buy from anywhere the parts that have the same design as noble armor but look much better , as Sergeants in Claypool wear it (Liddy , Neal and Soto) . The one from caduceus looks battled compared with the one worn by Sergeants.

Who doesn’t sees it or believe can go to Claypool town and see the fact . (gauntlets, boots, helm, pauldrons .. al look different on noble than on NPC) They look more knightly as they glow better and are more shiny .
