some ppl are just dumb and lazy and since they can get supplies a from tower and wont ge punished, why wouldnt they take them? Who cares about upgrades and stuff?
Way to solve it (as i see it) would be give ppl small reward for every supply which they get to from a camp. +2 W exp for each supply that means 20 W exp for 10 supplies. Yes not a big deal, but you know how ppl love to farm their ranks and stuff, so once they can get their ranks faster, they will do so and hopefully we will have more supplies in our keeps and towers. And maybe this will as well encourage ppl to build cannons and oils in towers and keeps.
PS: you probably figured, but for slower ones… for this to work would be important to give ppl Wexp just for taking supplies from camps.

2. NO. If mesmer is smart enough to hide on good spot and ppl that took that keep are stupid enough not to do proper mesmer sweep it is their problem.

4. NO if you properly siege every keep, it is so hard to take, that it can take forever to capture one. For example Hills so hard to take!!!
5. NO as i said well placed siege is key to succes. If you are one of those ppl that place arrow cart on place where it can be really easily AoEd(like middle of a wall) than you are right, YOU cannot defend that keep. But others probably can.
6. Yep that is a problem, but by what you said about only experienced ppl getting commander tag would mean that even “experienced” WvW players that have lot of WvW kills and stuff will be able to get commander tag just because they are zerging 24/7? not a good option

That’s main reason why most of my guild (WvW orientated) took a PvE week and we dont go into WvW (for example instead of WvW event we took balthazar today etc.) I respect you guys, because you are really fighting hard and doing your best. I hope they will finally do something about it…..
I think TaG takes the week off because you still haven’t recovered from getting wiped by 6 people on 4 ACs after that fail portalbomb at dawns the first night

just no…. once you took away siege, whole strategy disapeared and with randoms running around it is more about zerg numbers than anything else, not what is WvW supposed to be about is it?…. pls just fix it already!!!!
As a player on WSR (currently one of the servers matched up with RoF) I have to agree that you guys have almost no night presence at the moment, though those that you do have are organised and skilled for the most part.
In the current match up AS have a French Canadian guild and WSR has drunken late night raids, both of these tend to keep you from achieving the points that your day numbers would suggest.

BTW you probably got to drink quite a lot since i see, that you got groups in WvW Every night. Actually that’s why I thought that you got some US guild playing there.

U probably know RoF like that one server full of Dragon slayer heroes etc. And for long time time this statement was sadly very truthfull. Fortunately things change and RoF starts to play WvW much more that it used to do before(mostly cause of Anets WvW buff in last couple patches). So T8 became easy match up for us, where we get back to T7 pretty fast and T7 is still really even for us, if there wouldnt be fór nights. We already figured out that RoS and dzag got their night coverage and we just dont, so even thought we leave our Bl and EB fully upgraded when we go to sleep, we just find it all taken in the morning when we wake up, because there were almost nobody defending it whole night. So if any major NA guild is looking for a transfer pls feel free to PM me with your questions or ask in this post. Lets go together into T6.
I found a guild that actually DID WvW (almost exclusively in fact) where I simply couldn’t find one of Rof. Even those who claimed to be WvW didn’t organise at all or even use Teamspeak. I’m very happy with them and there are other guilds too that do the same thing in this tier on all servers.
We even have organised GvG fights on the borderlands. (and spectators too ! it’s all very civilised)
The zerg fights are epic too, if that’s your choice.
Queues exist – particularly at peak times, sometimes it can take maybe a half hour (worst case) to get into your battleground of choice but unless you have a guild assignment, you can just pick one of the others.
You probably never tried TaG i see. There are few other WvW guilds that are working their kitten of in WvW 24/7 as well. So dont trash talk about RoF since you probably havent tried much to find WvW guild. Only problem RoF got now is us not having strong US guild so we dont have late night coverage.
I agree. I was attacking WSR Hills today afternoon and even thought they were outmanned 50% of whole time, they were countering all our siege(yep we didnt use single golem insane right :P?) untill last supply left. A they put up some good fights. I was actually asking my guild to join WSR when we were considering change of servers. You deffinitely are server worthy transfer to.
And unlike Arborstone (our second 8T match up) they are honorable and they don’t use zoom Exploit thingy on ACs.
To be honest biggest problem with ACs now is ppl using zoom hack on them. What about fixing that first? sorry but shooting over wall and destroying arrow carts far behind the gate is not cool. If you don’t know what i am talking about ask Arborstone. Whole their server is doing that. (besides their flying hacking as well…)
I would like to thank everybody for this great weekend. I hopefully wasnt that big pain in the kitten for having 4 night shifts in AS BL and us having your Hills with WP all the time. 10v60 fights 2 nights ago was lot of fun and you really made us dig deep while defending your Hills. Hey guys, at the beginning i would like to thank all of you for yesterday’s afternoon and night, i think that we all had some great fights there. Today morning/night is bit different story. I would just like to ask VcY and Riot. Yes great job on caping whole EB with 6 golems and 30+ ppl against 4-5 enemies. But dont you feel bit lonely doing that? If you are that good put up with us during the day and try to beat us fair and square not like this. I think you can do better than that. And I believe that we all ( includes you and GH ) would have better gaming experience out of it. Farewell Poke Master
I don’t represent anyone but myself. But i am consistently running around in WvW at hours like these…and i like to make use of what people call common sense.
So….how about instead of asking for RoS to do something about your lack of 24h coverage , you (the server) do something about it? We would all have a better gaming experience out of it and you wouldn’t have to use sub-par manipulation attempts
We won’t stop doing what we do…because you can’t deal with it. In fact you just gave us confirmation of its effectiveness, ergo an extra reason to keep the dawn (GMT) crews running.
You wouldn’t ask your forces to disband a zerg because you are stomping the opposition, so don’t expect your opposition to do any different. Common sense.
