I thought that because of the eternal alchemy video. Since the dragon’s are in a cycle and all but mordremoth were awake, I feel that something else is controlling the strings. I may be very wrong, but that’s how it felt. I don’t think it was Mordremoth controlling Scarlet or the other sylvari dude.

I’d say Elona, and somehow I feel that the dragons are not the uber head boss.

=o, so I read the three pages thus far and I still don’t understand the topic being discussed. Is it to tell people who wine about being kicked from groups because of low AP, that they shouldn’t wine? Or am I wrong?

I don’t understand why people feel entitled to be inserted into whatever group, no matter how they play, what gear they have, etc. Could somebody please explain this to me?

Voicing your opinion is a right, however that doesn’t make your opinion correct. I don’t mind having mounts if I can disable them showing. I couldn’t care less if people are riding a dragon or a pig. I do mind however my framerate. If adding mounts is adding a new model, it would be a mess just trying to run across a city with all these people riding all the time.

So, like I said (which is also my stand regarding dueling), if I can disable it (and have it disabled by default), I’m on board. Also, if mounts do give a speed bonus, I’d say that if the character has already a passive ability that grants speed, it should be neglected or that those bonus don’t stack together. That way the effect would be pretty much as using a 1-hour speed bonus.

@Morsus, I’m not attacking you. I’m just saying that you re-read what you write, because as someone else already posted, it may not have been your intention, but it came that way. In my personal opinion, people can do whatever they please and I don’t feel the need to tell them to do otherwise.

I pretty much totally skipped out on hearts. Hearts are for people who need boring quests to help them find a goal. I suggest you try dungeons if you like group instances, try out commanding in WvW if you have the money on hand, try out SPvP, and give the other classes a try.

Totally skipped the Dungeons. Dungeons are for those that need some sort of validation as a “L33t” player or that have reached the point where earning gold is WHY they are playing a game….

(The above is a gross simplification and stereotyping done on purpose to show narrow-minded contrast to the quoted statement….felt I needed to add this disclaimer as this is NOT my personal feeling (ok…maybe a little) and I can sense the mentality of some posting here).

I’ll take five person group content over massive scale zergs or exploring (possibly in part due to my low settings.), but that’s just my opinion. What’s the problem with that? You don’t see me going around insulting your favorite thing to do in the game :/

However, you insulted other people who enjoy doing hearts. Better re-read what you write before you post it.

If you could somehow connect WvW (it resets every week) and assign one of those bonuses (randomly) to the winning server it would encourage people to join there more. However, with megaservers I’m not sure this is feasible.

If they were going to change anything with pets’ names, it would be nice if they persisted once a named animal goes back into your pet bank. I stopped giving my pets interesting names once I saw that functionality.

Could it be possible to allow using non-alphabetic characters on our pets’ names? I can understand not allowing users to do this (it would make whispering difficult, etc.), but I fail to see an issue with pets.

Like I said on another post. There seems to have been an attack to shut down WildStar NA. However, since all games of NCSoft are on the same data center they all got hit. Hopefully they will fix this today.

I main a ranger too and I’ve never had problems. I’ve only got owned on WvW against thiefs. Another good way to level up is Edge of the Mists.

I just used my ranger to run around like a lightning bolt to get my WvW map completions.
I’ll take my guardian in during the very few times I actaully want to play WvW.
Maybe I’ll actually try a dungeon with the Guard one day—-it’s another area of the game I haven’t really experienced yet (just one that I did with 1 friend and we were both using the so called useless dungeon ranger).

I’ve run dungeons with my ranger, warrior and mesmer. I’ve felt that with the warrior the fights are more intense, because you’re close range. Other than that I don’t know why people hate so much rangers. I get that there are a lot of rangers, or any other class for that matter, that don’t know how to play. For example, the other day I was on Dry Top trying to down Tootsie and there were like 5 chars with ascended armor and weapons hitting it (warriors, guards and thiefs), but not using their CC skills. I was the one always preventing Tootsie from running away. Sadly I got distracted with my phone and it ran away. They immediately started berating and claiming it was my fault, because I was a noob and didn’t do enough DPS. I just lost it and started laughing to be honest.

In the wiki → http://wiki.guildwars2.com. Just search legendary and it will guide you with everything you need to acquire. Head start tip: you need to have 100% map completion with at least one character.

=o. I agree with Brother Grimm. If getting one legendary were easier, then they wouldn’t be legendary. I myself don’t intend to get one, as a matter of fact, yesterday I gave away “The Chosen” to someone. I hardly find people to play with and so far, the guilds I’ve joinded have died or kicked me out without reason. I don’t have a reading problem. It’s a policy and a bannable action. However vague as it is, it depends on the devs to attend each particular case. In other words, you’re gambling.

I have an i7-4770k and it runs perfectly fine. That’s why I told you it was probably your CPU. I have a GTX 780 too, and I thought that everything would run perfectly fine on high. However I got quite a lot of stutter/lag. That’s when I found out that reflections pretty much kill your FPS. Reduce or outright disable them and that should help a lot. Also, keep in mind shadows demand a lot of computation, which at the moment, seem to be performed by the CPU and not the GPU.

I’d look into your CPU, probably disable reflections and reduce the shadows in the game options.

Hahaha, I imagined people dying while fighting Tequatl and yelling for help, while others are dueling in front of it, because it looks epic.

Anyway, I’ve been reading the forums a lot lately (work has been light these last couple of weeks). I keep reading this “forum is toxic”, “the community is toxic” comments, but I fail to see how it is. Obviously there are people who are offensive, but so far, at least in this post, I’ve yet to see something toxic.

Truth be told, it seems that disagreeing = toxicity. To me that just…blows.

It is only toxic players that create a toxic environment. This is true.

@saalle, @Scrambles: I see. I guess expanding in-game activities in this manner wouldn’t hurt anyone. Probably adhering to some of the points some other folks have pointed out, but otherwise it seems like a reasonable request.

Could someone please care to explain me why is it that you want duels? In all games that I’ve played that had this feature, it was used primarily to prove superiority. I have never witnessed a “friendly” duel. So, is it solely for superiority? Or why do you want it so bad?
