playing in magnuum with new monsters, new map, new areas to explore, and basically new legendaries to mess with.
Don’t want to spoil your day, but none of those new things have been confirmed yet. It was all speculation.
No need to troll. I just want to know when it will be released.
What is the exact time the patch will go live? Does anyone know? I would very much like to get into the game soon as possible and start playing in magnuum with new monsters, new map, new areas to explore, and basically new legendaries to mess with.
I never really like the idea of weapons having static skills per weapon, maybe we can incorporate the idea of being able to switch out skills that can only be used on the weapon the player is using. Mix & Matching the skills to create their own unique play style. Each weapon would gain new skills that must be gained through fighting champion or buying while re-discovering Tyria, but these skills changed out with older skills much like the utility skills that can be changed out when acquiring new skills.
Let’s take the staff Fire element skills for example, we have 5 static skills that are pretty much known throughout all of Guild Wars 2 community and how to counter them in PvP. Why not spice things up, make it so these static skills don’t become so static anymore.
By adding new skills to the staff, we can switch those skills out with the static skills creating an whole new skill set for the staff. This means no elementalist skills would be the same, they could switch these skills out on the fly and create their own unique fighting styles. Creation of new skills for weapons would throw the old fighting styles out the window and open up for new, innovated way of fighting each other in PvP, WvW, or PvE.
These new skills could be separated by skill levels, each containing 5 skills each which could be released over time in the Season 2. Every Profession will have the chance of new skills for each weapon, bringing new life to the combat system that has gotten stale overtime.
Not only will give us new skills to mess around with, it would also allow us to remove some of the Skill Points that have been building up on our characters. Skill points that are becoming useless because we already gotten every skill there is. Some players even got SP scrolls saved back for new characters, meaning by the time they are level 10, they already have every single skill.
Each 5 sets would be separated by ranks (Apprentice, Novice, Advance, and Mastery) which meaning that each weapon could have up to 5 sets skills that could be switched out to create your own fighting style. Regardless if another player has the same set of equipment you own.
In Attachment, it could look a little something like this…
Don’t expect Maguuma to be the same, it will be different and completely unique compared to other regions we have visited. Not only this will open up new weapons/dungeons/trinkets/story-line/monsters/grand new city, we will also have new jumping puzzles and guild missions as well. On top of that, we will definitely see introduction of a new world boss meaning the list will grow. If we are lucky, they might just release a new profession which is completely new and unique compared to other profession, this profession could be native to Maguuma.
As for the Zephyr ships crash landing inside Maguuma, we might find them building an permanent settlement within this region because they must strive to regain flight. Remember they hold many mysteries and this can tie into gaining new skills for existing professions as well. You will also be able to participate in events towards helping them get back into the air. Maybe the Zephyr might play a major role in defeating the new elder dragon that has risen.
I know I am going to be there for day one of Gate of Maguuma opening, I would venture deep into the lands while exploring, hoping to find unique treasures and scenes that no one has seen in hundreds of years since the first Guild Wars 2. Remember this is the second season and the seasons seem to be based around the awakening of the Elder Dragons. So trust me when I say this, with each new season, new regions released and new elder dragon risen from their slumber.
As for those who say destroying of everything they love is starting to take a toll on the land, remember the Elder Dragons and the people who are trying to hasten their resurrection do everything they can to weaken us. It is war… the war never ended when we defeated the first elder dragon, it just only begun and many ancient wonders or casualties will be lost before we rise from the ashes victories or defeated all depending on our choices.
This is after all, an living breathing world that is shaped and evolved by our choices in the game.
One I did of my mesmer, like, a year or so ago.
Very nice! Lovely work! It’s great to see different styles everyone can do. Some styles are great and others are even better. That what makes these forums so amazing!
Little suggestion… rework it so the faces have different expressions in the background, to give the illusion of an mesmer spell being truly complex and unique.

If so… would love to have her commission me an drawing of my beloved Asura character, Zoozuu Deus, tinkering with gadgets or magic. Anyway… if you do see this thread, please send me a message and I would send you an picture of my character.
Thank you…
We have an sub-terrain race (Asura), terra race (Humans, Charr, Norns), and we have plant race (Sylvari). Only niche for life that hasn’t been filled as of yet is an Aqua race or Amphibian race that wouldn’t require an breather, but they might require an air breather of they are purely aqua race, which can replace the current breather.
Of course everyone wants to see multiple different races come to life in the game, some are evil and some are not evil, there is even some that are in middle of civil war to determine if they be on the side of good or bad. This could play out as an living story line where they introduce an new race, with special events involved. Without further ado, here are all the potential races that have come to light!
Potential Playable Races
Terra Races
- Kodans
- Grawl
- Tengus
- Centaurs
Amphibian Races
- Hyleks
- Largos
Aqua Races
- Quaggans
Sub-terrain Races
- Dwarfs
- Skritt
- Dredge
Glad you guys like it… Anet already said they plan on bringing back the guild hall. I figured I could toss some ideas on how to improve and maybe make the guild hall even better. Instead of just having guild hall, how about guild island.
I named my asura “Zshar” because I was sick of staring at the blank character name line for 40 minutes….
In the Gem store, there is an service that allows you to change the name of your character to an more suitable name for Asura. I gave Rlabs and others an detail instructions how to make an more suitable name. Hopefully we can see more unique Asura names that could lead to maybe new Asura characters involved in Guild Wars 2 storyline.
Also in my post is my character’s card with Asura Script! :p
(edited by Aradusm.6420)
attached is a drawing of my asura another one of someone else’s asura.
Very nice Artwork. I like to see more from other artists! Most revolving around an big scene of Asura working together, struggling together, basically as a community with their cities in full view.
Hope other artists will get involved as well.
Battle for the title Best Asuran Artist of all Tyria!
Here is my challenge to all artists out there. The idea behind this is to build an living, breathing, social structure of Asuran through color artwork of multiple Asura working together or solving problems together, or having hilarious moments. I want to see the Asuran world to come alive, but through established based lore created by Anet themselves.
The best artwork will be featured on the first page and your name will be plastered for all to see. Glory to you and your name be ranked among the best artists Tyria has to offer. Be prepared for the glory and fame that will precede you!
Note: I will post other threads for different races, declaring the best artist of each race depending on players votes.
May the best artist win!
I decided to make cards of characters I make, this is done through paint and paintshop pro, it is not very difficult. One thing you must do is try to incorporate racial aspects of the character into the cards. You can design your own cards and post them to display your own card designs if you are willing. Without further ado, I shall post my card and wait to see what you come up with!
4/10 is your score, here is the reason why!
Your characters name feels it would be more suited for an Human. Asurans names always short one syllable or two long syllables. Female names usually end with an vowel (A, E, I, O, U, & Y), while male names ends with an consonants (B, C, D, F, G, H, J, K, L, M, N, P, Q, R, S, T, V, W, X, & Z.)
- Examples Male Names
(e.g. Snaff, Robb, or Gixx) - Example Female Names
(e.g. Zojja, Aleeo, or Siiru)
Asurans may also create position/specialty/title to their name. It’s an simple process, all you have to do is follow these steps to create an custom profession that sounds all Asura in nature.
- Pick an root word that you like
- Add a magical or scientific sounding suffix
- Add a prefix if needed
- Combine steps to create position/specialty/title
To take it one step further, you made add your character’s Krewe/College/Birth Place after the name to bring more prestige to your character. Many characters will have this type of naming because it feels more natural and less forced by players who create their own position/specialty/title to their name.
Tip for Better Name: Use the English language’s prefixes, suffixes, and roots for position/specialty/title.
Tip for Better Name: Try to base your character’s background off real information and character’s profession.
Tip for Better Name: Use an place/object/action for root word.
Tip for Better Name: Surname doesn’t necessarily have to be Asuran in nature, because most Asurans don’t have a Surname. Those that have one are unique in nature and tend to stand out.
Female Elementalist
Name: Zoozuu Deus
- Citizen of Rata Sum
- College of Statics Graduate
- Lost Arcane Theorist Elucidators (L.A.T.E.) Krewe Leader
- Officer of Cat Biscuits (CAT)
Trivia: Zoozuu’s surname Deus came about by her parents honoring an Human (Markus Deus) who saved the life of her parents from Inquest, that is how Zoozuu gain an Surname opposed to not having one and being bind by Asura naming.

Main Features
- Guild Island: The general idea is to have an island where guild players can hold meetings, train, craft, sell, and role play at without having to set an designated area in the Open World. Any player may enter any guild island, allowing for them to participate or even donate towards their favorite guilds. Basically this guild island is specialized for guild activities and organization, allowing for guilds to become an closer community instead of a lose net of players working together.
- Guild Bazaar: Located in the center of the Guild Island would be an Bazaar, an place where guild members can sell their items through merchants to allied guilds or players. Players can also buy merchandise displaying their favorite guild they will root for in tournaments.
- Guild Embassy: Here is where ambassadors of guilds allied with your guild may assemble, this will allow for alliances to be formed and plans of assault can be coordinated for WvW against other guilds. Each alliances has an chance of being the top alliance and status of alliance can be displayed on a board in Embassy for easy reference.
- Guild Training Grounds: Here is where guild members can form teams and train in PvP combat. Guild leaders from the alliance can formulate strategies how to combat other guilds in WvW and how to counter other strategies that are being thrown at them. Nothing beats old fashion training that will help improve teamwork and coordination between guild members and alliance members.
- Guild Homes: Players in the guild can have homes, places where they can store their items, display armor/pets/trophies, and even change their outward appearance. Each house is customizable and players can buy certain special features much like the total make over kits but permanent.
- Guild Hall: Meeting place for the guild, can only be accessed by guild members of that guild. Inside the guild hall is bulletins, trophies, and guild bank. The guild hall can be redecorated as well, allowing for festivals and celebrations, making each guild unique.
Minor Features
- Guild Popularity: By becoming the most beloved and popular guild in all of Tyria, guilds players will gain titles and limited edition armor skins that will allow for members to display their status as favored by the players of GW2.
To be honest, I think the interact between water and land based equipment needs to be more complex than it is at the moment. Aqua-breathers need to be expanded on, with different variety of aqua-breathers racial in cosmetic. No all species have the same facial structure and the aqua-breathers need to form to the face of the user. Most players already pointed out that we need stronger aqua-breathers, higher tier to accommodate the constant growth of power.
As for Traits, I think we need underwater combat traits, preferable in its own category. That way we can have focused land builds and focused underwater builds, allowing for full effect for both land and water combat that we constant fight in. No one wants to focus a build that is amazing for land, but weak for water combat. Either this or the traits effects change when they enter water combat.
Instead of having skills complete change for aqua-weapons, we need to keep our main weapons and change the skills for them as we enter water. Adding Trident, Spear Gun, and Spears as main weapons would add new weapon niches for the game to use on both land and sea. This would also new types of strategies and builds, it also would give players new weapons to experiment with in the world. This would also make battling from land to water a smooth transition.
At least one land to water or water to land skill that effect how you fight within those two areas, this would change the way we view combat on both environments. Image not wanting to swim in the water, so you cast a spell or skill that allows for you to walk on water. Not only you keeping your land based offensive skills, but you are fighting on a terrain that can give out any moment, changing the combat flow drastically.
We also need skills that can attack land base targets from water, visa versa, meaning new ways to approach your opponents. Imaging sneaking into a fort in WvW from water, then you surprise your opponent attacking them from the water with a devastating skill or spell. This would throw them off balance and give your party the element of surprise. You could also lure them into the water, where your party has the advantage, making it easier to eliminate the resistance.
To totally honest, I think we need an underwater race. Even if they introduce an unknown race to fill that niche, it would be nice to have a race like that. Asura are underground race, other races are above ground. We have no race we can play that is underwater race, which we got a niche that is unexplored and leaving a realm of possibilities.
Humans or any other race can become gods by acquiring vast knowledge and power overtime. I figure pre-guild wars era was filled with unchecked magic, humans, and other extinct races due to the elder dragons. Human “gods” were humans who achieved the pinnacle of magic, ascended into their god state. This was something we saw happen with our eyes, we saw Kormir ascend to being a Goddess due to obtaining all of Abaddon’s knowledge and power. She became the sixth god, goddess of truth, knowledge, and secrets.
So I understand that human gods were created through pinnacle of knowledge and power, I guess six people reached that power before the elder dragons awaken. Before the other races could have the chance, this leads to the concept of gods and goddess being placed in Human lore. It is pretty much a state that any race can obtain, just it is now almost impossible thanks to the elder dragons consuming magic and the bloodstones limiting the magic.
I doubt the human’s gods or goddess have diminished in power. They their role has just been more clarified for us to understand they really never really had full control over our fates or destinies, they just been a instrumental role in helping protect humans by giving them knowledge and power, but that knowledge was lost over the span of 250 years, allowing the other races to catch up to humans who were temporarily the strongest race in Tyria. It is pretty much the dawn of equality since every race has accumulated vast knowledge and power that makes them equals in their own way.
There still so much the six main races doesn’t understand, knowledge that they can’t obtain anymore and power that exceeds the amount of magic in the world today. Magic is still a mystery and how the world around them isn’t still clarified. Look at the Asura experiments, they are not absolute and yield unsuspecting results that wasn’t thought to exist before.

You wouldn’t mind doing one of my Asura character? I really love her and want to have an picture of her! I am not very rich though… very poor when it comes to real life money or in-game gold.
Just either do attachments or link them. Your choice!
When duel wielding set… I think the first attack should activate both of the weapons instead of one. Two pistol shots? You fire off both Pistols for double damage. Two Daggers? You slash twice for double the damage. Stuff like that! All there needs to do is just extend the timer a little.
(edited by Aradusm.6420)
I wouldn’t mind seeing more town cloths introduced to the game, allowing for us to have unique mix and match looks for players. Majority of the players spend time in town most of the time, why barely any town cloths? It doesn’t have balance issues, plus the town cloths can be cultural, meaning you could buy some at stores in different home cities or craft new cloths based off recipes.
Here is a few screenshots of my character. Zoozuu Deus who I am happening to be writing an fan-fiction story line about her past and how she became who she is today.

Confrontation of Families
Unknown to Zoozuu, her parents were about to give up on the search for her until one of their scouts spotted her within the mountains of Lornar’s Pass. Heading out with not a moment to lose, they traverse through Asura gates to the Norn’s home city Hoelbrak. They then quickly rented an guide to lead them to Vanjir’s Stead where Zoozuu was spotted. The trek was long journey and dangerous one at that, but that didn’t stop their determination of finding Zoozuu, their beloved daughter that they lost so many years ago.
Their traveling companions were eager to learn why two Asuras were traveling so far from their homeland towards an small stead named Vanjir’s Stead. Zoozuu’s parents quickly replied that they are searching for their daughter who was kidnapped a long time ago. This railed their companion Norns who were infuriated to hear someone would stoop so low to kidnap an young child from their home. Norns vowed to help Zoozuu’s parents to avenge her, which they quickly declined. They didn’t care for revenge, they only wanted their daughter safe at home.
It took them a few months to reach Vanjir’s Stead, but when they did, they didn’t see Zoozuu anywhere on the steed at the time. So they asked the locals if they know of an young Asura wandering around this area, which they quickly spoke of her in admiration and respect. The way the Norns described Zoozuu, they knew immediately that it was their daughter. While they were crying in tears of joy, Beate exited her home to see the two Asuras holding each other tightly. Walking up to them, she asked why they come to this small steed.
Baak peers upwards towards Beate and reply they came to take their daughter home where she belongs. Realizing quickly that it was Zoozuu they came after, she breaks down into tears and falls to her knees. She felt torn between the decision of doing the right thing or to flee with Zoozuu to the hills away. Rajji was puzzled as she was the display before her eyes, then she realize what was going. Quickly running up to Beate, she grabs the Norn’s shoulder and demands where her daughter is. Beate replies that she is out hunting with Agnar, both who are working hard to bring home food for the table.
Stunned with disbelief, Rajji stumbles backwards as Baak threatens to turn Beate into the Lion’s Gate authorities for kidnapping charges. Quickly Beate pleads for them to listen to her reason why Zoozuu has been staying with them, but Baak was furious and wouldn’t listen to reason. He felt the Norn’s have crossed the line and they must pay. While the voices were being raised and a ruckus was drawing attention of the locals, Zoozuu and Agnar returns with an couple of rabbits tied up they recently caught to find an crowd.
Instantly Zoozuu recognizes the voice of her father yelling over the crowd and Beate pleading with him to listen to her. Quickly she pushes her way through the crowd to come face to face with her parents that she hasn’t seen in years. At that very moment, the whole crowd goes silent as well as both her families as she stood there watching them with wide eyes. Suddenly a voice breaks the silent as her mother walks slowly towards Zoozuu, wide eyed and shocked to see how much her daughter has changed from an bright eyed child to an beautiful teenager.

The Second Family
Quietly Zoozuu awakens to two unfamiliar faces, these two towering individuals were sitting beside her with worried looks upon their faces. She could feel the warmth washing over her from the fireplace nearby, warmth that was comforting and made her feel safe. Trying with her might to sit up in the bed, the two Norns stopped her and told her to recover her strength before getting up. This was an unfamiliar sensation to her, affection and gentle hand compared to her parents. Deep down she felt that she could trust these unfamiliar towering behemoths. Quietly she went back to sleep once again, this time feeling safe from all the threats this world had to offer.
Once again she awoken to the smell of fresh food cooking and smell of ale that hung in the air. By this time, she felt she could stand upon her two feet without any need of assistance. Walking up to the towering women slaving in the kitchen, she looks upwards at her with pleading eyes. With a warm smile the women gives her a piece of cooked stag meat which she greedily gobbles down, not caring about looking graceful in the processes. Knowing that the poor little Asura was probably starving and exhausted from the ordeal she suffered, the women didn’t mind the manor that she ate in, she was just happy to see the young fledgling alive and well.
Suddenly the door swung open as a heavy figure steps from out from behind the blizzard, this startled Zoozuu causing her to hide behind the women. The man let’s out hearty laugh as he takes off his hood and kneels down towards Zoozuu, letting her there is nothing to be afraid of. When Zoozuu finally calmed down and takes a seat at the table, which looks rather comical which makes the male let out another hearty laugh. As the two Norns sat down at the table, they began to introduce themselves to Zoozuu. The male Norn went first, introducing herself as Agnar Deus and explained that Beate Deus is his wife. They were out hunting the very stag that they are eating when they stumbled across Zoozuu half frozen in the snow bank.
About two years passed, by then the Norn family claimed Zoozuu as their own because they couldn’t bare themselves any off-springs. Feeling honored and privileged to share a surname with a Norn, Zoozuu gladly accepted their surname. They quickly realized Zoozuu was especially adept at magic, so they took her to the local Elementalist trainer, who started to teach her how to conjure up spells and defend herself against the Dredge who plaque the hills. The training she endured was harsh and sometimes downright brutal, but she strived to impress her new parents. Unlike the Norn children who displayed extraordinary strength and toughness, she constantly was struggling to keep up with them.
Then came the day she would lead her own hunting party into the foothills, which is a proud moment for Norns because it marks the day they become full fledge adults. But it was extraordinary for the Norns to see an Asura rising in their ranks, they were impressed and viewed her as part of their tight net village that nestled in the hills of Lornar’s Pass. When she captured her first Stag, she was exhilarated from the hunt, making her feel she was finally fitting in to her new home.
Harsh Winter Wasteland
As soon as the portal closed, she started working fast by making way towards the nearest exposed rocks she could find. Propping herself up against the rock, she started to grind the rope that bind her hands together against the sharp edge, working feverishly at the task. When she finally freed her hands from her binding, she untied the ropes around her feet and removed her gag from her mouth. By then frostbite was starting to set in, causing her body to feel numb to the point she couldn’t even feel the sharp cut the rock caused on her hands.
Ripping an large strip from her shirt, she splits it down the middle into two long pieces of cloth. She then gets to work wrapping her wound on her right hand while using the other cloth to cover her mouth, allowing her breath to keep her lips and nose warm. Taking a big breath and a heavy sigh, she starts to trudge through the heavy snow, wandering aimlessly looking for the nearest road she could find. She spent hours upon hours walking with no hope in sight, wondering if she is going to die in this cold and unforgiving wasteland that surrounds her.
Exhausted and worn out, she couldn’t find any sign of an settlement, let alone she had no clue where exactly she was. Heavily she falls to her knees in defeat, by now her tears were frozen to her face as she as her vision was starting to blur. Then she notice it, faint and fuzzy outline of tall figures walking in her direction, but by then she started feel herself passing out and falling face first into the snow.
The Early Years
Zoozuu was born 1294 AE of October 18, an beautiful baby girl to proud parents Rajji and Bokki. In attempt to make their daughter their prodigy, they took her out into the wide world to show her the sights and sounds of the beautiful world. It was an vial disguise to teach her about how the world works around her at an early age. It worked and cemented her desire to explore, to work towards understanding the world around her. By the time she was 5 years old, she started attended the College of Statics, which gave her a solid foundation to expand her ideas from. She truly felt that she must perfect her designs, make sure they work the first time and last forever.
She quickly rose to be one of the top students of College of Statics, earning the highest markings any Asura child can achieve. This earned her constant torment by other Asura children, who were actually jealous of her knowledge and determination. Her first invention was truly ground breaking, but it had faults because she was rushed to finish to present to Snaff’s Prize Judges. It came in second place, which broke her heart at first until she learned the first placer used plagiarized an design that was long sense forgotten by the judges. The first placer’s name was Zolla, who swore revenge against the Snaff Prize Judges and Zoozuu for humiliating her.
Unknown to Zoozuu and her parents, Zolla was already recruited by Inquest. Zolla pleaded with her superiors, convincing them that she would be a threat to them. During an ominous and quite night, an portal open up within her room. Out came Zolla and a few Inquest guards, they quickly muffled her and bound her before making haste through the portal. As she and her captures emerged from the portal, she suddenly found herself in an frozen wasteland. Without any adequate clothing to protect her from the harsh environment, she found herself breathing shallow and shivering. She could feel her joints aching and body growing number from the harsh cold air pressing against her unprotected skin.
It was then Zolla took great pride in burying her heel deep inside Zoozuus back, slamming her face first into the snow while laughing at her torment. Her tormenter quickly tucked her hands into her trench coat and retreated back into the portal followed by the two guards, leaving Zoozuu to die in the winter wasteland.

Support Skills for Elementalist
These skills apply to allies within radius around caster, granting them varies boons and applying conditions to foes who enter the radius. There isn’t very much support skills out there for Elementalist that encourages working in a group. Only reason most Elementalist work in groups is for defense or protection from foes who target them. By giving them support skills, this will make Elementalist a true support class for groups, allowing for new strategies to be developed.

A solid 7/10.
I love “Zoozuu” because it’s unique while remaining within typical Asuran naming conventions & I enjoy her relevant nickname. Points deducted because not only do Asura have no surnames, “Deus” commonly known as the latin word for “God” isn’t very original.
9/10
Great name for an Asura, very nice sounding Asura name that feelings more masculine and rough sounding. Fits his personality very well.
My Elementalist – Zoozuu Deus
To explain why my character’s name is like this… here is a link. I figured I make a story about how she came about having a surname and why she is the way she is. You can say her surname came about through a unique circumstances.

Much like Sylvari Race that seems to be lacking in the Hairstyle department, let’s check out the Asura race that lacks just as much. Asura and Sylvari doesn’t have much love when it comes to hairstyles, so I like to see an expansion on both races. Of course that is already being covered in the Sylvari’s forums, so I decided to expand on this and add the Asura race to the list.
One thing for the Female Asura is that they have unique hairstyles that display they femine side of them, because there isn’t much to different from a Asura Male and Asura Female. There are so many hairstyles for females or males today in the modern world, it shouldn’t be much of a problem to find fitting and amazing hairstyles for Asuras who are the most technological advance race in the whole world of Tyria.
This thread will be dedicated to those who want to make sketches for Asura Females and Male hairstyles that would give us players more options to customize our characters. No one likes to see an complete copy of their character they world hard to design and make unique.
So get to cracking on designing new hairstyles for both females and males!
P.S. If you like, you could also add scars, faults, and disabled looks to the Asura body features which could make characters even more unique. This could also be used to make your character more personalized with an background story as to why they have these faults, scars, or other personal defects.
One thing I like to see is maybe same type of leaves, but different styles of hair does for the Sylvari race. They are after all a curious race and they would begin to experiment in looks immediately upon encounter other races.
Of course seeing new type of flowery type of hairstyles would be interesting too, much like seeing and discovering new plant life day in and day out. Why not take an time out and explorer the world of plants to get some inspirations for new styles for the Sylvari race.
I don’t know much about Asura naming, but I like it. 7/10.
My Asura Elementalist is Zoozuu Deus. Most people nickname her the Zoo of Thoughts, because she constantly rambling on about new inventions and creations that could benefit all beings in Tyria. Every once and a while, you will catch her telling another race how to improve their technology, because she can’t keep her ideas or inventions to herself too long.

I thought more people would be interested in guild halls and player houses… to give a feeling of more attachment to their characters.

More Environment Interactive Objects
There are many interactive objects laying around on the ground of Tyria, some of them has a purpose and others do not have any apparent purpose. Then there are some that should be interactive for the sake of role playing, but they are not interactive at all. Such as stationary telescopes, chairs, ladders, Asura panels, beds in bedrooms, and many other objects that are littering Tyria. By adding role playing purpose to some of these objects, this will breathe new life into the Guild Wars 2, making it a much more interesting and fun game to play. By doing this, this offers some unique and interesting chances for screenshots to bring about great short stories for our gamers to read. Like an picture book that constant evolves and grows with the character’s history.
Portals to Guild Halls and Player Homes
Since Tyria wouldn’t be able to hold all the guilds halls and player homes created by players, it would make sense to have the homes connected to Asura Gates. This will allow for one gate to lead to lead to player’s homes and another to lead guild halls. Home Gates can be located in racial cities, while Guild Hall gate can be located in Lion’s Arch. Racial city determines the base look of player’s homes, while guild’s have the ability to change the look of their guild hall.
Guild Halls
By introducing Guild Halls back to Guild Wars, guild members will have an common area they can frequent and hang out. Not only this will offer great chance for some role playing, it offers a way for guild leader’s to hold meetings for their guild members, allowing much more in-depth interaction between the members of the guild and the leaders of the guild. Leader’s will also have the option to allow outsiders into the guild hall, so they can show off their guild hall to their guild’s associates or allies if they want too.
Also the guild hall can be an great place to display the achievements of the guild and for the leaders to post written goals or schedule so they don’t have to keep reminding everyone. This will also mean an certain area for guild storage and guild merchants for players to interact with. Expanding on this, guild leaders will also be able to customize the hall, making it their home instead of an generic look.
Player Home
Having guild halls won’t be end all for players looking for a place to settle down. How about player homes that will allow players to have a place to retreat and get away from the world. It is a private place for the player to display their achievement, gear, and mini-pets that they managed to collect. They can also customize the look of their home, making it their very own home without generic looks. Much like the guild hall, players can invite people into their homes. This can make for interesting Role Playing moments, rather it be planning an raid for WvW or to just chill out while chatting about their adventures and mishaps.
Avatar of Gods Skill
Unlike previous Avatar of God skills that change you into a pre-determine look, I rather see changes in the player’s character appearance. The player’s character being the Avatar of the Gods, s/he will be able to take on new skills (different skills depending on weapon being used) and gain an boost in certain stats that portraying the type of god they are using.
Avatar Status Boosts
Balthazar: Power/Critical Bonus/Condition Duration
Dwayna: Precision/Toughness/Healing Power
Grenth: Power/Condition Damage/Boon Duration
Melandru: Precision/Toughness/Vitality
Lyssa: Power/Precision/Critical Bonus
Instead of favoring one race like before, they favor all races now instead of just humans and giving each race the ability to become an avatar. Transformations for the avatar change drastically change the player’s characters appearances depending on the race and god that they avatar. Each god has their own type of element, this is reflected in the transformation of the character when they become a avatar of a god. Players will keep their original weapons while being an avatar, but they gain new skills they can use that will drastically alter strategies.
Sometimes the skills can become overwhelmingly offensive type skills, or amazingly powerful defensive type skills, or an predominant healer’s skills. Not one single skill set is the same for all weapons, each weapon has an different avatar skill set. Think of it as a secondary set of skills for weapons, which means players can instantly change their skills in the middle of battle, but still obtain their style of play.
This can all be introduced through an expansion or living story-mode.
Is it too hard? Respect the awesome work

Suggestions for the clouds, change their color a tad bit or add color. Like add a bluish tint to the clouds will clear up the visibility issue, making it much easier to see where one cloud ends and another one begins. Also the fog on the bottom of the maps, where you will die instantly, change that color too so it doesn’t match the clouds color. Make it green which will not make the cloud blend in.
Another way to make the super adventure box better, make sure to make the traps seem a little more obvious what they will do. Some that are obvious but doesn’t show no apparent function, have a creature that will wander into it and end up getting killed by the trap so the players understand what it is.
That is all my suggestions for now.
Here is too all your lovers of cute and Asura things! Meet Zoozuu Deus, the fiery redheaded of cuteness!
All of you are bookah if you think bigger means better. I’m on a search for indestructible material that can withstand extreme temperatures, extreme pressure, and extreme kinetic damage which by all means, make all your G.O.L.E.M.s obsolete. By expanding on Snaff’s design that almost defeated an elder dragon, I can form an G.O.L.E.M. that is made up specially designed pellets that can be broken down and reform into any shape.
These pellets will be carried by an inter-dimensional cube, which requires an combinations to access. I will call my G.O.L.E.M., Servant 2.0., created to keep the Elder’s Dragons minions at bay or to complete sterile an island or continent. Another design feature for Servant, it can be used to create many other things, such as impenetrable walls, solid bridges, and other helpful features to make sure the user survives. Servant is only limited by the power usage, meaning it can defend any area for eternity until it runs out of energy or I switch it off.
As for the Charr… Meow? Meow? Is that your language? You’re language is too, primitive for me to understand. So why don’t you go crawl back into your cave and maybe, just maybe you will actually evolve into an more civilized being. Leave the big boy missions to us grown up civilizations and we will make sure to feed you every once and a while.
Come up with New Skills for Your Favorite Profession!
The idea behind this is to create your own skill! Be creative because this skill could end up being used by ARENANET to add to Utility Skills or New skills all together. Some of these skills could be nice addition to profession of your choice, accompanying skills that are already in utility skills or come up with something completely new to guild wars 2.
New Elite Utility Skill: Conjured Lightning Great Sword
Profession: Elementalist
Hundred Lightning Gashes - Repeatedly Strikes Multiple Foes, causing stunning the foe and causing them to be vulnerable.
Profound Pressure Arc - Sends four projectiles of compressed air flying towards targeted foe rapidly while pushing the foe backwards, with each successful hit the enemy gets pushed back further and the damage stacks with each hit.
Instantaneous Sweep - Teleports forward and slashes enemy’s ankles with the great sword, causing them to be knockdown and crippled.
Lightning Fast Counter - Deflects any incoming attack from foe for 10 seconds. Every time you successful defend, you counter with multiple lightning that jump from one foe to the next that damages them and causes them to be stun.
Day of the Storm - Calls up a tornado that knock down foes, strikes them with lightning causing them vulnerability and weakness, while dealing massive damage to foes that have been struck.
I got to admit, the Asura females’ armor need major overhaul so they look more girlish in my opinion. There isn’t much to distinguish a male from an female. I tend to make male’s ears long and females ears short, also adding different markings as an indicator of being a female.
What is this about Mounts?
There is tons of MMO’s out there that have mounts for characters. Adding mounts to this game would add an faster way to travel across the vast land of Tyria. To obtain a mount, players are required to capture it using special food that have a 50/50 chance of succeeding. Each mount has different special bait required to capture it, so some bait will be rarer and harder to find. There are many different advantages or disadvantages to certain types of mounts, so choose your mount wisely when setting out to capture them.
Can Mounts Use Equipment?
Mounts have a menu much like the player, mounts can equip specialized armor and accessories. It also has an saddle bag slot that allows for players to store their items in their mounts. This allows players to have more space, clearing up their inventory so they can continue to loot.
Why Does your Skills Change While on Mount?
Players are not able to attack from the mount, but players get a new set of skills set that can aid them in their travel across Tyria. Much like being transformed into an animal, mounts have their own set of skills that can be used in combat, but it is highly not recommended.
Can Mounts Die in Game?
No mounts can’t die, they are only render downed. If the mount is downed while the player is on it, the player will be knocked down to the ground. If the player dies while the mount is down and has to teleport to the nearest WP, the mount will teleport with the player.
Suggestion for Special Event
Secret Areas that require special commands and puzzles to access, that isn’t shown on the map or isn’t announced through official channels. The areas entrances blend into the surroundings and lead way to dungeons that have extremely hard monsters and increasing hard puzzles to solve. With each puzzle solved, it opens up one more door and making a new room of the dungeon which other players can enter or exit at will. Basically the first person who solves all the puzzles and survives the dungeons gain ultra legendary weapons or armor that can’t be duplicated, given away, or sold.
Each Ultra Legendary items is an one of a kind and there will never be any other like it in the game unless the account is deactivated or banned, then another dungeon will appear once again in a different area with new puzzles so going through it offers new trails for aspiring heroes. If ever acquired one of these ultra legendaries weapons, you are faced with the possibility of being one of the chosen few to placed in Guild Wars 2 History Books and become stuff of legends.
Players with One of a Kind Ultra Legendaries get the chance to choose two main paths, good or evil that can shape the very world of Tyria. These paths are exclusive to the Ultra Legendary Item Holders, their actions can shape or destroy the world of Tyria depending on what path they choose.
Advantages of Ultra Legendaries
Each Weapon Has Unique One of a Kind (Main/Off-Hand) Skills, Animations, and Sigils (Attached)
Each Armor/Accessories/Jewelry has Unique Emoticons, and Runes/Jewelry (Attached)
Ultra Legendaries Can’t Be Forged, Duplicated, or traded.
Ultra Legendaries Level Up Along with Your Character.
Ultra Legendaries Change Appearance Depending On Your Actions
Things to Note
Upon finding an Ultra Legendary One of a Kind, it will be geared towards your character’s class giving you full Armor/Accessories/Jewelry or All Weapons For Class. Players who own the Ultra Legendary Weapons have the option to relieve their burden by destroying their Ultra Legendaries, thus will remove their ability to choose a path of good or evil. Players actions will be able to effect or even change the outcome of the game, allowing them to take their place in the history of Guild Wars.
