anyone had any luck on redownloading the game?

I get the same its gets to 70% and crashes the computer/bluescreens and I don’t get an error log or anything.

The new update crashed and bluescreened my computer while it was updating and I have no idea how to fix the problem. Help plz.

no they are not. its just putting some kind of weapon in npcs hands thats all.

There will be cralpoad of infusion tiers too to be grinded over and over again, its a long way from “fine” to “ascended”.

This is what you might expect:

ascended weapons
masterwork infusions
ascended amor
rare infusions
ascended sigils
exotic infusions
ascended runes
ascended infusions

level cap raise that renders all of the above obsolete.

O nice do u really thing they will go that far with infusions. I can say infusions are kind of lacking atm and need a change thats why i havent put any in my stuff yet but i dont think it will go that far at all. U see anet is doing something about magic find cuz its useless and if infusions are also usless they will find some reason to change them.

U know u ppl make me sick crying over a gear treadmill. The game is getting boring atm the only thing the game has going for itself is the content every two weeks. enjoy making the ascended gear like u was getting exotics. Play the game stop complaining about new stuff. Think when u was a kid and u got something new. Its like some of u are acting like how ppl was saying gw2 is goin to fail. Reading all these post on how anet is adding a grind to the game or gear treadmill and bla bla bla bla omg stop it getting to exotics was a small grind and treadmill and getting the look u want was a grind and u didnt complain so why complain about ascended gear. Cuz anet said no grind? cuz the anet is goin back on the manifesto? Gosh ppl things change over weeks and months. Ideas change and dont stop changing. This is a mmo an ever changing world we play in.

Ok kiddies like me shed some light for u all.

Legendary gear will always be top tier even if they increase the lvl cap since they now made them more for looks.

Ascended is and will be the only tier under legendary.

Grind is the core of all mmos u had to grind lvls right u had to do dungeons and other things to get the armor look u want right, so u had to grind. Anets grind for gw2 is very small compared to other mmos stop bringing that pointless thing up.

Once patch hits unless Legendary weapons get better stats than ascended when u chose the stats u want the weapons will be only for looks and the ability to change the stats.

Now for those still saying anet said no grind well guess what. you dont have to do it. u can do all the content of the game in rare gear.

Anet has already told us that they wanted this lvl of gear in the game before the game was release but they didnt know how to put it out so they are slowly adding it to the game and believe me they wont go no higher also the stats from exotic to ascended are not as big as ppl think and ascended wont be fast to get like exotics.

The way they are puting this weapon and armor set in is very good since they are now making crafting worth doing now .

another thing. One of the core things of mmos is grind. all mmos have it no matter how much they say they dont want it. Its the type of grind that makes ppl not want to play some mmos. gw2 has no strong lvl grind, no basic mmo gear grind no faction grind no hard daily grind no really hard pvp grind. All the grind gw2 has is very small and u all are making a big deal of it. Progression makes mmos strong and without it the game becomes boring. Remember WoW grows when they bring new content to the game ppl want progression we need the grind to keep playing cuz if it didnt have that grind or progression the game would be dull and boring.

Look at spvp the only grind it is the ranks and those are not that pushy to get unless u want a look in spvp other than that spvp is just meh and the same is with wvw we have the wvw ranks and points and have to play to get points which is a grind.

really i could go on and on with my back typing and whatnot about grind in the game but u should see the picture and if u dont im sure anet over looks u sometimes. have a nice day and enjoy the patch cuz sab is back for the month

Ok since the whole champ farm and invasion stuff noone does the temples and even before ppl didnt do them and a few of them have items that are only sold by them like the rabid trinkets and really its about time u have those sold somewhere else because noone does the temples anymore since u made some of them annoying to do and replaced them with this champ farm. I know u dont want to do much in orr but plz make those items that are only sold by those vendors somewhere else or add some new jewelcrafting plans for them since they should of had them from the start since u had that stat combo since the game came out.

I was just wondering around in Lions Arch and i came across this. Now i do remember the gates not looking like they are open but today i see 3 out of the 6 looking like they are ready to be used. What will they lead to and when will they be open for us to use.

Will it happen or will those like myself be brushed off for some other change we dont care much about like the not needed body shot change?

armor clipping is nothing bad at times its ok and at times its bad but u have to remember not everything is going to fit right cuz of the game itself plz understand that.

ppl cry over clipping then when its attempted to be fix it does more clipping like some of the asura armor with weapons clipping the hands cuz they are so far from the armor itself.

a new profession would come with a expansion and atm we know they are working on and expansion but no talk is goin on about it to us and whats would be in it but we will see in due time.

The bazaar of the four winds is the main theme of the month the story part of the month is coming on the 29 of this month since they do updates every two weeks.

Dulfys site is good but plz ppl dont look to her site all the time u have free will and an mind of your own so plz use it and remember dulfy uses it as well so shes not perfect.

what u mean ther is no zenith gear for engineers? thers zenith gear for all weapon. have u checked the pvp lockers and saw them?

No changes that are good for pistol pistol so im planning to reroll another profession.

We all should know this by now that all event weapons are RNG so since its already known that the dragon coffers are still goin to be in the game after the patch and the dragon bash event and aetherblade interaction with the dragon bash holos so no ther is on weapons in this patch. Look forward to them when the dragon coffers are gone.

Ive seen many npcs wearing other races cultural armor skins and i wanted to suggest letting use be able to buy and where those skins on any race cuz i would love to see my asura in human t3 medium armor.

I make it look good.

Asuras have some of the best looking emotes in the game. zojja can be kind of ignorant at times but u have to remember she looked up to as a genius and she lets it get to her head and the fact that her master died and trying to keep his legacy alive and alot of other things she really ok and funny at times and the personal story for asura for the infinity ball is really the best idea for a personal story anet has had just wish it was longer.

Edit: Also asura just fit perfectly with the order of whispers story with tybalt.

Here is a few armor skin ideas u could choose from. Just remember i love the asura tier 3 medium armor but the chest and helmet so most of the armor skins i use will have t3 shoulders, boots, gloves and legs cuz they just fit right with the chest i choose.

Seems like the name of the book to me thats all. Books can have the word expansion on it just to tell ya.

When a thief hides behind an obstacle and tries to insagib you out of stealth, they will obviously be laughed at when they fail. They deserve it.

I remember I was overlooking the supply camp next to the jumping puzzle and I get hit by this thief out of nowhere. I threw him off the cliff to his (oh so satisfying) death.

Other classes deserve respect when you beat them. They deserve a “/bow” for a good fight. No one has ever bowed to a thief that tried to gank them in a sneaky manner.

Go figure.

I saw a eley ride the lighting off a cliff when he was trying to hit me i just shadow steped out the way.

Thieves are hated just as eleys and mesmers. Ther is god good thieves and god bad thieves its the same for eles and mesmers and yes a bad ele is very very fun to kill.

I like the mug change but i run p/p and sb so i dont use mug i use the trait that gives me might with the use of venoms. I love might so much o i wonder how much damage mug will do with 25 stacks of might o i can not use steal as an opener and use other skills like shadowstep, scorpion wire or sb skill 5 and weapon swap and save mug for when i need to heal myself very quick or get out of something by targeting other enemy around me omg i kind of like the change o wait i dont use mug in spvp cuz i am d/p i have shadow shot.

With anet doing patches each month they can bring out content and fix things alot faster than some other mmos that wait untill big content patches to fix things. Like pvp yes we all know pvp needs some help in the game but look at what anet is doing, they are looking at it and are trying to push is forward.

This game is doing very well atm thru my eyes and i think when the game hits it one year mark it will have alot of stuff to do in the game from doing pve stuff to core pvp stuff it will have a mouth full of stuff to do.

i just have to say this one last thing. League of Legends didnt become big untill after its first year and then it started season one.

“Guild Wars 2 is dying.” I see this alot and not just in this game but in all new mmos after Wow has claimed its high numbers in subs but to tell ya this game has higher numbers than Swtor, aion, tera, and alot of other mmos in the market.

Yes dungeons are getting boring, yes u are bored after getting your legendary and do alot of other things this game has to offer atm but this game is not hurting from the “we need a subscription to keep the game going”.

I could just make a long post on alot of things but i hate walls of text.

Just remember this game is free to play and u can take a break from it and its sometimes better to play more than just one mmo so just add another mmo or another game to your playtime if u get bored of gw2 its not that hard i play aion, wow, age of wushu and league of legends so i have other games i could play if i get bored of gw2. No game is perfect every game has something u like or love so its better to have more than one game to play.

IDK if most of you guys noticed, but some of the ascended gear that has been added does come with flavor text referring to Cantha.

So it’s not like they are trying to make it go away and pretend it was never there, the flavor texts themselves suggest that these items where actually smuggled out of Cantha, that might be a hint.

Personally I would rather see a whole new place, Elona and Cantha are in the south of Tyria, why not go a different direction (literally) in Guild Wars 2?

Why would they have Canthan New Year in Tyria? That makes no sense, at all.

The Great Collapse happening has nothing to do with Cantha happening or not. There have been a lot of hints that Cantha will eventually happen, and developers have said they want to do it. It’s just that the one area got boo’d to the point of removal so that it can be recreated. The Great Collapse will likely, eventually, get fixed when a “better” version is made.

Furthermore, I’d like to point at Fractals – there’s two Fractals (one’s arguable though) that holds Canthan influence: Solid Ocean and Cliffside (despite what some may think of it being about north of Kryta, the trees, Chanters, seals, etc. all point to Ritualists and other things from Factions imho). When The Lost Shores was being promoted, we were told that there are hints of things to come within it – Fractals was half of the main things introduced with The Lost Shores (the other half being karka, DSD hints, and Southsun Cove). I’d say that’s pretty solid backing for “Cantha will return.”

Regarding Usoku – that was just done as an excuse to not have Cantha open right off the bat. There had to be some reason why players couldn’t visit Cantha, especially right after Zhaitan’s defeat since he was the main protagonist. As it stands, we don’t go mounting expeditions in-game because, lore wise, no one wants to go to Cantha because they’re jerks.

Yes i know things whats hinted but with Zhaitan dead opens not just paths to cantha but also paths to other landmasses and right now i see no reason to go to cantha other than to let other races than humans live ther or add the dsd in as a problem there. Im only looking at new areas on the world map of tyria that havent been touched at all.

Like i said Cantha is wanted by alot cuz we know of it just like elona but we have more reasons to go to elona than cantha.

O and fractals was is just a hugh hint box. Grawl following a fire like god, a asura going mad, the swamp fractal, the coming fight with jormag, the unknown colossus, the deep underwater zone, etc. etc. they all hint at things to come to the game but i see more reason why anet is not going to do cantha or if they can i dont see them bringing cantha back in including the post that has u all posting about bring cantha back.

If u read the lore u would know that the tengu is not even on cantha anymore cuz of what has happened in cantha.

o and cantha wont happen for gw2 unless ncsoft says its ok to do it.

i dont see any new races coming into the fold of the other races but i do see new professions happening.

The humans have the highest population followed by char then the norns, asura and sylvari. Now the sylvari population will only keep growing depending on the pale tree and the other sylvari making tree so they could at most out populate the norns and asura if they wanted to.

The order of whispers is the ones who knows alot more about the world of tyria than the other factions and about the elder dragons. The prioy is just learning from a dwarf about them but doesnt have the connections like the order of whispers.

P/P damage is not as bad as u think but u have to go full zerker and have all the pistol +% damage traits just to see worth your wild, but the set up does need some changes.

Vital shot is fine as far as damage is concerned but its rate of fire needs to be increased just a little.

The trait called Ricochet needs its chances increased to about like 35 or 40 percent.

Now for the movement problems that u might have is pointless cuz u have two extra dodges (one of them heals u and the other gives u more initiative) and u should be at max range of your attacks or close to it so u have time to dodge things that might be in the way or things that might be on its way to u. Yes u can do some nice tricks with black powder and steal but just be ready to dodge or move out of melee. One last thing for this edit ive done to my post is that poisons and the trait that gives u might with poisons works wonders for pistols damage.

All i see is human t3 armor everywhere. Those with other races t3 gear and other gear is epic just like my thief but who knows i might be the same as the others with the inquest chest.

Im sure humans will play a part in the jungle dragon and ill give u a hint. the white mantle.

The rata sum in gw2 was built by the asura. The rata sum in gw1 is where the polymock arenas are.

I wonder what the 3 faces in the pic mean and if u want to see if for yourself its where the giant worm world boss spawns.

Update to my older pics of my thieves. This is my last thief that i’m ever going to lvl.

I know people would love to go to an updated cantha but its not just cantha thats out on tyria. Anet has other content they wanted to add to gw that they didnt add so they could jump on goin to those areas and not hit so much on cantha and as for elona ya we goin to that place.

How i see this is cantha doesnt have any strong lore connecting to the main story right now like elona does so other than opening trade with cantha again i dont see any reason to go to cantha.

I dont think anet is planning to visit Cantha in gw2 but they might hint at some lore on it later on.

backstab and bleeding thieves are not noobs but heartseeker spamming thieves are noobs cuz u have not skill and all u do is spam heartseeker. But i would try and pistol/pistol build with sword/dagger build.

I decided to relevel a asura thief and the first thing i notice that didnt get changed was where unload would come out when using it on an asura. seems it still comes from out of thin air above the asura plz fix this.
