As a necro in my pov, what Sabull said above is your only chance.
For necros is very easy to win most (if not all) condition vs condition fights.
Signet of Spite can be devastating but a good necro will make sure it lands on you so nothing you can do about it, try to remove those if you can.
If the necro has corrupt boon on his set ,you MUST los/dodge it somehow.
Try to avoid him (range or los) close to your 25% ,he ll try to max you with conditions around 30%, to keep them running after 25. A good fear chain there will probably kill you though and it happens a lot.
Necros have so many ways to remove or manipulate conditions (send them back at you or using them to heal) so the chances are slim and you need to play it perfect and/or he make mistakes.
All i know about warriors is that today, a guy came at me with spining blades sh**t, and i got hit 3 times, 4k, 5,k 9K. and i am guardian with 2.4K toughness, and 3.7K armor, and 21K hp. Tell me that’s not OP. So he stuns, came at me, spins, i am dead. This happed on more than few occasion and i dont get kill as easy with thieves. So please do soemthing about kk?
I mean no offense really ,but do something like what?
Remote control your keyboard to use Retaliation or Aegis or Dodge or Block for u?
Cause it looks like the warrior was using a whirlwind attack ,now if u die only by that…and as a guardian(?) then something is indeed wrong

Can’t say about your necro, but if you can’t have a fair fight against a warrior with your mesmer ,then obviously no nerf will do you any good.
If you wanna go rambo with all the cool stuff w/o any kind of cc-breaker (or cc) in a pvp game ,well thats your choice.
Don’t expect others to do the same and come rage the forums tho.
I saw it it swtor beta and i find it a very good idea.
Why not Anet puts an ingame survey tab, where they ask anything they want about their game and getting some real feedback.
It can be done in a new tab/panel where players can open and fill it,or ignore it as they please.
They can change it frequently to gather more data for all aspects of the game.
That would create a larger pool of information since not all players read and post on forums and to some point it will help to make the game better and even more enjoyable.

I was into Axe/xx thing but the more i play with hammer the more i enjoy it.
All but one,major part.
Some of it’s skills require to stand still for 0.5sec or something to be executed else they will not fire at all.
Against a good player it’s devastating sometimes to stand still even for that few tenths, specially the 3rd (cripple).
Is this how intended to be or is it a bug?
In any case i feel that needs to be looked at imho.

Same issues ,a little bit better but still unplayable specially in Spvp Tpvp ,when a lot of friction and hit boxes are around, impossible to play …

Looks like the right click camera rotation has some issues lately , it feels like its losing the grip,and you have to press again multiple times to rotate the camera.
Tried drivers,new mouse,GW2 application compatibility,nothing helps.
Is it only me?
I agree somewhat. I think there needs to be more catering to middle-ground builds. The fact for example Vitality, scales differently by class it really skews the system. If a thief for example wants to build for a balanced build, they are still only gonna truck around 15k maybe 16k hp. Where an 80% offensive (glass) Warrior build can have 20-21k if not a few thousand more……
seems kind of sillyNot to mention the 20k HP glass cannon warrior can still put out more dps than the 10k HP glass cannon elementalist / necro
Cause in a parallel universe melee and ranged combat are the same…
I don’t really care what you can do to counter 14k hits. No one should be doing 14k hits. No one should even be doing 10k hits IMO considering the low amount of health some classes have. There should be more strategy involved, no one should be getting one or two or even three shot in this game.
Did you not read the part that he downed the warrior? even with that 14k hit ?
What happens when that warrior face a better player that avoids KS? 0 Chance of winning is fair to you i guess…
So you ask for an enemy glass cannon to be kittened to be just ….glass?
Even so ,if you can’t avoid a 2 sec cast time, i doubt it would help you.
As for the rocks ,check other class Downed State skills and you will see there is a reason that warriors’ throw rock is meant to hit harder.
I really can’t see the problem here, whats holding you back if you want to go melee?

Im not sure what is wrong, a friend entered at the same time for his quest and didnt had any problems,while i keep stuck on loading,so i guess it not for everyone

Yes,it happens in early signet builds, but as you progress in lvls ,it will drop down as the stat scale dr kicks in.
You can get some power instead for now to max you damage even more until around 50-60.

I find Hammer- Sw/Shield (mostly for mobility/cc ) amazing right now, it stands in a good balance between damage/utility,may help teammates both defensive or offensive and most important ,it is fun,at least for my taste.
I play in a more aggressive set up with it and works wonders.
I think this should be transfered here, get pinned so everyone can read it daily and fall into more deep depression before the log in.
Until someone from the devs actually read it, this and the 90% of the topics here,so we can hope for something.

I would like to create a topic for us Necromancers to discuss or suggest ideas about our beloved profession.
It would be nice to post here instead of having a lot of topics scattered all over the place.
What do you like,or what do you think needs a change or a tweak to make Necro gameplay more enjoyable?
I can start with the lack of a solid bust or let’s say, more straightforward damage build.
The option to sacrifice survivability for some extra damage.
Axe or (Dagger?) power builds seems to fall behind ,you can check that anytime.
But watching 90% of the Necros running the condition/dot builds says a lot.
I think it is something to be looked at,since those builds are in the game they might as well be a valid option for everyone to use.
In general im not so sure that power scales good with any of the current necro specs.
Specially the Axe that seems to be weak at all points.
The creative freedom to play the character they way you want it with the pros and cons in each case (so it could not be overpowered) is vital imo.
And right now the Necro seems to be forced to stick in one path only.
Your thoughts?
