Guild Wars 2

My Charr Warrior and Ranger. Norn Warrior, Guardian, Ranger and Necro. Human Thief and Elementalist. My elementalist isn’t lvl 80 yet, but still had to make her look good a bit to lvl in style :p

I find leveling in GW2 less tedious and alot faster than most other mmo’s. And I tried pretty much all of them. In most I didn’t lvl even 1 to max lvl before getting bored despite playing a considerable amount of time. I played wow for years and only had 3 max lvls at any given time. I have 7 here and 8th on the way. Granted I can skip the first 20 levels and I have loads of birthday boosters but still. Just do whatever you enjoy, you get xp for pretty much anything you do

I’ll admit I know nothing about coding, and it probably isnt that simple. But cant they just take it all away and make people relink their account to get it back? Sure I’ll survive without my new skins, but its already been going on for quite a while now and there is no new news about it (unless I missed it)

Seriously how hard can it be? I’ve unlocked a dozen more things that I cant get atm. I’m still getting the ap and titles though so whats the point in blocking the skins?

Probably my favorite part about reaching 80, dressing up! Had my doubts about my Norn guardian wich I only just lvled since they often just look fat to me, but loving it the mix.

My main is my Charr warrior, sadly alot of armor for charr look plain bad, but I love the T3 with T2 legs and Heritage boots.

And the others are just eye candy

Overall they look pretty bland as said.

Human male: Kinda liking these, they look less babyface than most
Human/Norn female: More of the same that I didnt like before. More uniqueness please!

Norn male: 2&3 simply look kittened to me. 1 might be allright with beard and hair. We need more serious middle ages faces tbh.

Sylvari male: lol wtf is that
Sylvari female: 2&3 look great to me. Tempted to make a Sylvari that I’ll actually keep

Charr:! I love the Charr race but not a fan of bones sticking out the face aside from horns. Not really liking the shape or paints of these heads either.

Asura: Dont really care, I cant play a race with an annoying run animation anyway

Had a quite a long message prepared, but you seem like one of those that goes on and on while you don’t know the first thing about me or how I play. But have fun in you zombie robot dungeoneering. Filter applied.

Alot of times you can tell what kind of party your getting in to from the message you see in lfg. I never join any party that demands me to be or have anything specific. Parties asking for berserkers, specific class or amount of ap can go crawl back under the rock they came from. Anyone demanding something from someone else is probably not such a good playeras (s)he himself thinks. Even when I meet the requirements, I’d rather wait for another group then join that one.

I’m a pure pve player and I usually detest any form of pvp but the I got tempted into wvw the other night (mostly for the ap yea). So I joined a party of some people from my alliance and have to say that I enjoyed it better than I would like to admit. I did offcourse gear/trait on of my 80’s for wvw and looked up viable builds, and honestly didnt do too shabby in zergs or smaller 5v5 battles. Its not like I was actively looking wich achievements I still need and ignoring everything else. I genuinly had fun, mostly due to beeing in party and mumble with people who play wvw alot more often though. Even had most fun in the smaller battles since the big zergs are kind of a lag fest. And since we won most smaller encounter I’m probably doing something right. Offcourse I could have just been encountering other people like myself the whole time I was in wvw :p

I love the artwork for Norn, but unfortunatly most armor for male norn make you look either fat or akward. Females look good though.

AC is fairly unforgiving for lower lvl players, especially as its the first dungeon available. Most of the later dungeons are much more doable at their lvls. Even at 80 with exotics kohler hits like a truck and theirs not much room for error. In most groups I pug 3/4 people die after his first pull+whirlwind. In story mode its not so much the bosses but the trash thats fairly unbalanced

Like someone said earlier. I’m also on Gunnar’s Hold and I’m not saying the world is crowded, but there’s always people around. Temles inOrr get taken down regulary, and if you shout out events en mapchat there’s usually enough people that care and come help. There’s also several active bigger guilds that I see helping out eachother in pve. So we are probably better off tjan most other servers.

Has anyone ever suggested an unofficial dedicated pve server (similar to the unofficial rp-server?)

The chain starts just south of trinity fort by defending the catapults there. I dont know what triggers is, but after that you get a few escorts upto rally point and thenn there is yet another escort upto the temple but it fails 9/10 because you cant get enough people. Not because you die but because of some crappy morale mechanism

Really? This doesnt bother anyone? Its the only thing keeping me from playing sylvari because I really like their other animations

I like the “heaviest” body (its nowhere near heavy really) but for some reason it has to have a flat chest while its probably the only body where bigger breasts would be proportional. I prefer the norn bodies, but dislike their height a (because the look sluggish, even on smallest size)

I dont know if this is a bug or intended, but it sure as hell bugs me. When you use a rifle or bow when moving, you always seem to aim to the left instead of straight. Though when standing still the aim is straight. I’ve checked other races for this but i onlu see it with sylvari. I also looked for earlier reports but havent found anything, making me think this is just normal or nobody noticed. I only tried female sylvari btw

Norn females just make more sense than the human twigwoman. The only thing that looks better on humans is that they look a bit less sluggish when running. We should simply be allowed to run faster than he other races tbh (charr as well, especially on all 4s).

The animation itself is great, but since charr are so big they appear to run way too slow for their size. Thats the only thing that bugs me about it.
