This makes me sad. I finally got around to updating my banner Warrior for Core Specializations, and I was a little confused that I couldn’t find the banner recharge and radius increase Trait. Then I realized it wasn’t there, panicked a little bit, and searched around for an answer – that answer being it was removed.
Does anyone know if you can turn off the Shoulder and Helmet for this Outfit?
Red eye color for Humans. Gaze into the Photoshopped screenshot and make it happen ArenaNet!
I saw the title and thought “Dye in a fire!” :P
I’m a big fan of having them as well. Waited a long time to finally get them onto some of my characters!
Wardrobe hype!
Here is my Mesmer.
Colors:
White
Illumination
Enameled Jungle
Armor:
Reading Glasses
Sorcerer’s Epaulets
Masquerade Raiments
Winged Gloves
Masquerade Leggings
Illustrious Footwear
Weapon:
Tormented Weapon skins
I really dig the detail work on all of the pieces of equipment, small things like the finger gloves on the ends of the Winged Gloves. I think the royal green and gold combination is a fitting, and reminds me of GW1 Mesmers. Two of the three gems on the Winged Gloves are uncustomizable, so I made the gems on the shoulders and gloves match by using White dye. Tormented Weapon skins have effects matching the look of Mesmer abilities and attacks, so that was a perfect fit for the character.
Talk about perfect timing. I got a few laughs out of this screenshot. I love that the Guardian is leaping through behind them.
I’m in the camp that hasn’t lost noticeable damage. I’ve been farming an area for days for my Sunrise, and I still kill things just as fast.
Here’s the build I’m using at the moment: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vIAQNAnZUn8cQXHW5BmCCnIGAMPGKoiOKoaJli5cD-zQCBYLERjEBDRjKAM5pIas1hAlUMasqFYqSER1eDFRrGA-e
I have no idea what your other two builds (Bud of Pale Tree and Bagh Nakh) are, but it does seem from my experience that Berserker wasn’t hit hard, similar to your build for Stonecleaver Spire.
FYI: They mentioned the 30% Critical Damage going to 300 Ferocity (20%) on one of their Ready Up shows. Not exactly a good place for widespread knowledge though. It’s probably in the patch notes, but I haven’t read those yet.
As usual they posted important information buried in some video no one watches or deep in the forums.
This will sound mean but it’s not intended that way. Farming pve is not a good example of the damage done to a build, nor is your overall impact likely to be felt in mobs that are cleared in 6s instead of 5s. Against a tough dungeon or especially in long wvw battles you notice…fast. And while your armor didn’t take a massive hit, your accessories did and I’m willing to bet you would notice those in a decent fight if you were watching.
No offense taken. The character was built that way specifically for farming mats for my legendary weapon. That character is unlikely to do other content with said build, since I’ve always enjoyed playing bunker builds more. You are correct though, I can’t for the life of me notice any difference when farming mats, but if I had done dungeons and other content before and after, I’m sure I would’ve noticed it.

I noticed that the Charm/Dignity/Ferocity personality stat is now gone. Is this a bug or are they getting rid of it?
Thank you ArenaNet! After patiently waiting for so long, my characters can finally use the Reading Glasses as a regular helmet skin!
Much glasses. Such vision. Very stylish. Wow!
I wish it was fun. I wish it didn’t take so long to kill things. I wish my Elementalist attacks could hit things at point blank.
They still haven’t said anything like, “We wanted to make the game more Guild Wars-y” so I don’t consider this a NGE.
Warden stats!
Vitality (Major), Toughness (Minor), Healing Power (Minor).
I love this feature! This is gonna be so much fun leveling up my alts!
Just look at the KITTEN!
I actually burst out in laughter when I saw that image. Thanks. XD
2009: everybody transformed into a chibby version of Gwen
Oh man, I wish GW2 would get a bit of Gwen-chan! XD
Hubba hubba! Look at this sultry bobble head Mesmer!
Such elegance! Much grace! So alluring! Wow!
Still plenty of time left in the day! Wait for it…
My Sylvari ele : )
Hahah, she looks so shocked!
My guardian, k*ttenkk, continues to get more and more frightening.
Stupid filter won’t even let me spell his name correctly, I had to split it.
Is that the new mask? Can you color it? :d
That is the new mask, yes. No, you can’t dye it, unfortunately. I’m lucky in that I intended it to be red, anyway.
That’s okay with me. I can use it on my fire themed Elementalist. Was wondering if I could use for other themes though. Thanks for the info!

OH GEEZ! She’s ten times as scary now!
I choked. Just her image is trying to kill me.
This is what she looks like normally.
So FANCY!
Was doing the cliffside fractal when the update hit XD
Hahah! That is too funny!
I love how the characters have their head tilted back when running forward. I laughed so much!
My Warrior looks ferocious with the new look, hahah!
To the best of my memory, no I haven’t.
Crude scrawls fill the paper. “I can’t find my mommy or daddy.”

I started crying when I read that one. It feels worse when you realise you couldn’t save everyone in LA, and that maybe that child’s parents were among the ones you couldn’t save.
I’m not gonna lie, I had a strong urge to cry when I read it.
I’m one happy asura
I’m so jelly. I did’t buy those shades when they were still available.
Oh wow, I didn’t even think of this until just now. If you have characters in the Order of Whispers, the Vigil, and the Durmand Priory, you will be able to use the order-specific armor and weapons on any character!
I think I’m remembering incorrectly, but I thought I had read in a blog post, a dev post, or -something- that mentioned a crafting profession that would make town clothes. Tailor? A new profession that just makes skins?
I don’t see why they wouldn’t bring those skins back, one way or another now that they’ve got the perfect system for it.
Those glasses are definitely “single items”, as described in the blog post. They’re not part of a costume set.
Maybe they’ll be craftable later, or maybe they’ll make a return. I want those shades too.
I bought the Chef outfit as a reward for getting to 400 in Cooking, but now I see that I can make a Fire Elementalist Chef™.
Ha! I remember you talking about this before in some post (mostly I remember adorable glasses picture). This should open up all kinds of new fun looks for people!
And to think, they were working on it the whole time! I’m so happy with this update!
“Single items, such as the Fuzzy Hats and Scarlet’s Spaulders, will be unlocked for your entire account and usable with any armor weight.”

You guys and gals don’t understand! I’ll finally able to give those gem store glasses to some of my characters! I’m gonna love this Wardrobe system so much!
Thanks for the attempt! We’ll get it down.
I was going to make a bad salad joke, but now I don’t feel like it.

I’m hoping both of the potions have bug fixes in the upcoming feature patch.
