Had the exact same problem, queue would pop then our partly would get kicked out of queue. Happened 5 times in a row before we gave up on our guild mission.
I’m working on a druid right now but don’t have full cleric trinkets since I missed a couple of g-missions due to irl, will exotics be fine? Also just a heads up, I get teleported a lot but I hope I will get better with more experience.
Some friends and I have recently switched to Maguuma so that we could WvW together. We are interested in all aspects of the game including SPvP, dungeons & FotM. We are looking for a guild that runs missions weekly and has a VOIP or uses the community one. We are looking for a single guild to represent please do not reply if you cannot WvW on Maguuma.
I had this issue with the guild missions not giving commendations or loot after the reset bug (I did represent and guest). I submitted a ticket 2 weeks ago and only recently got a reply from anet after I sent them an email of frustration. I was told that they were unable to compensate me and was given no reasoning at all, just a short 2 line generic response. Several times anet’s support have wasted my time and given me poor service(the customer doesn’t have to get his way for proper service). To any one reading this, if you are unsatisfied with the current game, balance or support vote with your wallets.
To start off I’d like to mention that I own several legendaries but no duplicates. I believe the upcoming change will devalue the rarity and prestige of all expensive skins(exotic, ascended & legendary) and there should be compensation across the board. I think that if the system was already in place many buyers would reconsider some of their purchases. Because of this, I feel that all weapons regardless of price should be unbound. Anet should be giving the player the option and given the casual atmosphere of the game I do not believe this is an outrageous demand.
Did the Devourer Burrow rush after reset, and got 15/15. When the rush completed we did not get any guild merits, and still gave us an option to start the same rush(currently sitting at 4 hours). There were no other guilds present, the rush was started by our leader & the banners throughout the rush were ours. Everyone got commendations so I can’t understand why we should have to run it again. We no longer have enough people to restart since we realized there was a problem an hour after missions had ended. Going to submit a ticket as well.
Anet is saying that they used UTC time instead of server time to give out the kites. So a purchase made at 7PM June 30th is actually at 2AM July 1st. GG, real classy Anet ignore your own server time!
My ticket response: “You needed to make the purchase between April 1, 2013 and June 20, 2013 your purchase was made June 30th. I cannot help you with your issue due to the purchase date. I hope you can understand.”

The trading post will not allow me to buy or sell because the buttons are greyed out. I noticed when I have this problem the menu will not show how much gold I have in my inventory and will display “…” for my amount of gems. To fix this problem I need to fully close my game. This problem started to occur one week ago.
I’m going to necro this post because I shouldn’t have to dedicate a whole bank tab just for tokens. I plan to fill 2 bank tabs full of dungeon tokens and will report a screenshot of it every day to anet….
I’ve successfully defended Hodgins with a mesmer today. The trick I used is to gain aggro quickly and dance around while keeping my distance from Hodgins. Illusions are great for distractions as I can easily switch targets, spawn one and just move onto the next. When gravelings defeat my clones, they immediately target me next. Blink and phase retreat insure that they rarely get close enough to do damage. I also had a sword/focus as backup. Blurred Frenzy is a great panic button when you run out of teleports and dodges, mostly because it recharges fast. Temporal Curtain is a godsend for pulling adds off Hodgins without getting close.
This is the best tactic for a non-coordinated group, if you got a staff just drop the symbol on top of hodgins and any foes attacking him will begin to chase you. Use your line of warding if you become low on health and stability, break stuns and blocks are great for staying alive while dps’ing burrows.
Being an avid dungeon runner going for dawn, I like this idea, but it will never happen
I wish I could go to a merchant and buy my precursor of choice with 1-5k tokens of each dungeon.
I am looking for a large guild (200+ members) on JQ that enjoys doing dungeons, FotM and guild missions. I am very experienced in all aspects of PvE and am looking for an active guild that would we willing to party up on a daily basis. VOIP is a must and if I don’t need to apply through a site that is always a plus. I plan to represent 100% of the time and any guilds that require it are welcome.

I do agree that the guardian needs a better ranged weapon, but I believe the class was meant to frontline. Right now I use a GS with Staff, the staff allows me to heal up and remain in melee range for longer. I put a sigil of rage on the staff so if I do happen to switch I won’t lose too much dps while under quickness. Of course I keep a scepter on hand for those 1200 range fights.
Shotting down clay pigeons isn’t fun.
OP, please reply to this: How do you make interrupts, cripples, blinds, dodges etc. relevant to the game when enemies fall dead after 2-3 hits and can’t deal damage?
The situation you’re describing wouldn’t happen unless you were in Lv 80 gear killing enemies in a starting zone(Lv2-5), or killing ambient creatures which die in one hit no matter what.
And besides, those conditions are not relevant when the bosses have innate resistance or outright immunity to them.
He’s saying that reducing the health of mobs in dungeons is not a viable solution because it can break any of their mechanics or dmg output. But I disagree with him about it not being fun because who doesn’t enjoy killing mass amounts of puppies in TA? I think there should be a better mix of the two.

Playing an asura warrior I would hear “I feel 6 feet tall” so often that people would be repeating it on vent every time it happened…. Well now I play a Charr guardian lol.
All 3 of CM’s armor stat set have condition dmg that is quite sought-after by mesmers, necros and thieves. It is also the only dungeon the have a Vit/heal/Cond set, which can be pretty useful for thieves that use daggerstorm and sig of malice.
I try to run all 3 paths of CoE everyday, and finding ppl to do it is fairly easy. Guildies, a friend list full of pugs who I have previously ran with and gw2lfg make it very easy to get a group together quickly. If i would rank all the dungeons by popularity I would rank CoE as third or fourth (tied with TA) so there are dungeons that are far less popular!
Good thieves are hard to find. I rather bring a mediocre heavy or light class in for pugs. I pug quite often and about 8 out of 10 of the thieves I play with are bad while warriors and guardians usually 2 or 3 out of 10 are bad (By bad I mean die often and contribute to the team in a negative manner). I rather not risk it, and have a poor experience.
If someone can figure out what triggers it, that would be nice until the problem is fixed. I noticed he was always stuck in the wall when it happens but I don’t know why or how he goes there.
When doing dungeons I run and fight when I need to. I do dungeons quickly and efficiently and that’s why I enjoy them. I often play with pugs and use gw2lfg. I run up to 9 dungeons a day none of them speed clears. I find ppl that can’t pull their own weight the ones who complain about dungeons the most.
I have done both of the above suggestions and have found that orr boxes to be more profitable. Before buying the boxes I suggest you acquire all the karma boosters before hand (ice cream, banner, booster…), to resupply on any karma vials or bottles that drop.
Guard is my main and I run 50/50 crit chance/dmg with 16.5k health and 3.2k armor(with sigil and traits). I run 0-15-30-20-5 with soldier’s runes and it allows me to facetank while providing enough dmg and support for dungeons.
CoE is a clinic in proper dodge skill. If you are dying to Alpha, you need to learn to dodge better — this means timing and conserving dodges.
When you do this path with players that have a good grasp on the dodge mechanic and endurance management, it’s pathetically easy.
I agree, the only thing really wrong with this dungeon is that 3 in 1 crap with mesmers and theives porting through doors. That is what really ruins my experience.
