Hi.

My girlfriend and I are looking for people to raid with.

We play mostly during weekends or late during week days (from 22:00 GMT).

I know most of the people can’t play at that time during weeks, so I am looking for people that wants to raid during weekends. (If the whole group is avaible to play late during week, better, but I know it will be really difficult to find)

The idea is to have a steady group, not only for this wing, but also for the incomming ones.

Voice communication is mandatory. As well are good attitude, wants of be better, help in having good atmosphere, be participative and willing to spend time (the last one mostly for future wings).

We are also open to guilds that can offer us what we are looking for. (Our main interests are raids and FotM.)

Wait for it… i’m going to blow your mind:

TO PLAY FRACTALS!

The rewards are fluffy things to keep me entertained. Seriously does it ever occurs that too much min/maxing and fine tuning to get the most… reward? Gold, skill points, karma points, agony resist, tokens, glory or whatever, ends up detracting you from enjoying the game?

I know my post is boderline philosophical or how you want to label it, but some complaints are just too much sometimes…

I wasn’t complaining. I enjoyed fractals and I will enjoy them as I enjoyed it the last run I did.

I play fractals only when I want as always, not for drops. Btw, I like the challenges and now it’s more challenger.

I want to see why the people play them, if it is just for fun or another reasons like… Get a fractal skin.

It is me or I don’t find the reward of doing FotM?

I just want to see other points of view because I really don’t see the profits of doing fractals anymore.

I did Fractals lvl 30. We were 1 Necro, 1 Engi, 2 Guards and 1 Warrior. We were a good party, we all played well (We aren’t the best party, but for a random party was really good). We got: Swamp, Snowblind, Dredge and Aetherblades.

We got really stucked at Dredge, since now you have to do it in a normal way. We did the whole fractals in between 3 and 4 hours, let’s say 3,5 hours.

Before the path, I never take so long to do a fractal, even lvl 48 (2,5 hours as max with dredge)

The point is… In 3 hours how many differents dungeon paths I can do? 6? 8?
Let’s see:
CoF 1 – 20 minutes (It’s a lot but… Let’s say it)
AC 1,2 and 3 – 1 hour (The three paths, could take less…)
HotW 1 – 25 minutes (It’s long too, but keep saying, including the bonus wave)

If we stop here we got… Less than 2 hours for 5 paths, that means 7,5 gold (If i am not wrong)

So… I just see that Fractals now is like a… Mystic forge? I think I have more chance to get a precursor from Mystic forge than fractals.

What do you think? I am too wrong? What I am no seeing?

The truth is, there’s simply too much traffic on this forum for us to try and respond to everything.

I read that sticky before posting. But still I think should be some kind of participation. I understand if it isn’t a “personalized, individual response”.

Just maybe you can do another sticky, where you can put what is going on.

What things could be done and what things can’t be done. So the people can get more accurate ideas and not impossible ideas.

Or… At least one reply “Read it”, or something that let the people know that the suggestions are read by staff members.

I really hate this, too.

It’s better if you don’t have focus on the appeared pop-up window.

First of all, I really enjoy this game. I like it and I want the best for it.

I am a forum reader more than a poster. I follow this section more than others. Some ideas are great and I support them, and others ones could be great too but I don’t like it.

The community is really nice, they post their ideas. They post what they think. They post their feelings. They really wants this game became better and better. They wants this game to be the best one.

Do you know what is lacking in this wonderful section?

I don’t care if the suggestions are good, bad, impossible to implement, whatever.

Items' rarity color in their icons

I like it.

If border color is a little difficult, maybe the icon could have a little icon color on top left corner.

And… This icons could be use for materials and salvage icons too.

If I move on, I can say that this icons could have, for example…

• For exotic pistols, you can have a little orange pistol on a corner of the icon.
• For rare axes, you can have a little yellow axe on a corner of the icon.
• For salvage items, you can have a grey scissors on a corner of the icon.

The reset is the same as dungeons reset.

Just watch your clock and you will know exactly when the reset will be, with much presition than colors flashing.

If they put a countdown, could be. But not really important.

Sending Alts items in emails

The reason we don’t allow this is to prevent players from having 50 free inventory slots.

Wouldn’t it only be 10, since your email gets filled up at 10 emails?

10 emails * 5 slot each one = 50 slots.

Achievement leaderboards

Achievement points would have to only be awarded to unique actions, otherwise a leaderboard can not work.

But then you have a hard cap at how many achi points you can get (no dailies, no salvaging, no hobby dungeon master), and all those 1000 players would have the same number of them.

I’m thinking long-term about this idea. Any new players 1-2 years from now would not be able to have a chance at being on the leader board if daily/monthly/infinite achievement points are not removed. The only way they would have a chance is if someone on the board stopped playing, which is not likely since the players with the most “fluff” points are dedicated to the game.

If a new player 1-2 years from now sinks a ton of time into the game and gets every unique achievement point, then yes, that player should be tied for #1 along with every other dedicated player. Otherwise, what is the point of the system? To exist solely for day one players?

But… You can have time leaderboards.

For example:

Daily Here you can see how many points were made in the last day. And maybe you can have a daily winner, or something like that.

Weekly Same as Daily leaderboard, but in a week.

Monthly Same as Daily leaderboard, but in a month.

Can you catch me? Here you can see the higher ranked accounts.

I am so disappointed, there must be fix to this upcome.

I dont play for a gear, i play for a gameplay. Why to keep this undone. Gameplay and controls are not good right now.

I want to play with real feel and enjoy gameplay, now i just cant do that. You need extra moves always when you lose target by accidental. It annoys only. You cant relax and play.

Edit: I did send this thread to Support and send a feedback. I made a support account. Ill inform if any replies to come. You can do the same, to get this fixed finally. Ty.

Totally agree. It’s very sad that this is still undone.

What I do when I attack a mob, even if I am alone:

1) Target it.
2) Mark it.
3) Turn the camera with RMB.
4) Hit my “target marked mob” key.
5) Hit the skill I want.
6) Repeat 3 to 5, tons of times.

I am having the habit to spam the 4 step, but still I waste some skills on a wrong target.

When I am alone it is manageable, really irritating still.

When I am in a group, I just hope to nobody change my mark, or have a better mark

This should be high priority, at least for the long time waiting.

But I think one of the biggest thematic letdowns for me with Engineers is how there is nothing of “engineering” in them. I was hoping for a hopelessly fiddly class where a near infinite and absurd amount of customization was possible. Like point allocation into turret stats and stuff. Didn’t get it. I hoped for some idea of like customizing equipment. Didn’t get it.

Now that is a damn fine idea – I wonder if it’ll maybe be possible to convince the devs to make Engineer the Customize Everything class? I’m not even being sarcastic, I love the idea of being able to switch which barrels/ammunition/armor/powersupply/everything my turrets use, just because it would make me feel like an Engineer.

Now that you mention it, though, I find myself wondering how much farther that could be applied – most of the other classes don’t really have a lot of explanation for reasons their character did things in ways that others did not, or a lack of a place to shine. The Engineer’s one ‘unique’ mechanic is really just a reskinned Elementalist gimmick – so why not give them another one?

An Engineery one. One that involves customizing things to maximize the desired effects, minimize the others, and generally squeeze every little drop of potential out like blood from a stone.

How I can kinda see that working: Introduce a new value for Engineers, gained at the same rate as Trait points – one per level, starting at level 11 (or, you know, one every other level, if this turns out to seem too unbalancing. It’s six-forty in the morning, I’m tired and just running with this idea before it chokes and dies). I’ll call this hypothetical value “Engineer Points,” because I just don’t feel like being clever about naming things, okay? Okay.

You’d use Engineer Points to buy Upgrades for your different skill types – Gadgets, Turrets, Kits and Elixirs, probably most easily imagined as basically having a secondary set of Traits. Points in each traitline would improve the effects of that particular type of skill, without affecting the Engineer themselves – just their skills. At each 5 points, choose a trait that affects a particular kit/turret/gadget/elixir in a particular way, with the traits otherwise acting like they do usually (Grandmaster traits can be used to use Master traits can be used to use Adept traits, except now it involves six nodes instead of three).

For example: Turrets would have Cooldown Reduction and Turret Vitality as the stats they increased, Elixirs would have Area of Effect and Chance of Concurrency (chance of giving more than one boon at a time when thrown, and spread effects of elixirs drunk onto nearby allies in accordance with AoE), Kits would have…uh…I have no idea what kits could really use, same with Gadgets.

I’m gonna arbitrarily decide that the 5-point trait for the Turret line is Ammunition, in this particular case, just to be clear:
Now let’s say, going by this system, I put five points into Turrets, and decide my Rifle Turret needs to cause a different Condition than Bleed – so I trait it to deal Poison instead. Or I decide to change Net Turret into a Bleed+Cripple instead of an Immobilize by giving it a Razorwire Net or something.

How stupid is that thing I just said? If by some miracle it turns out to not be stupid, I’ll try cleaning it up and posting it to the Suggestions forum.

I like the idea, but…

I like it more, if instead of “Engineer Points” you have a crafting profession like “Engineer mechanic”.

The “Engineer mechanic” can design new turrets by combining materials, weapons, armors…

With an interface similar to other crafting professions.

And maybe… It would be “more real” if this turrets need materials to place them. Or maybe you can have a stock of constructed turrets. If you pick up the turret before it explodes you don’t lose the stock, but if it gets destroyed you can recover just some materials you used to made it.

I think the idea is understandable. Sorry for my english.

Appearance of an authorized network

I never authorize any network, but I have one in the list.

As I can see, that IP is from my work (where we have static IP) where I did the payment.

Maybe the system suggest that the IP where you bought the game, is safe, and they put it as authorized network.

I really don’t know. I am just saying what I see.
